I would have been happy to provide four stars initially, even though I returned a faulty vehicle. You get two because I liked my salesperson. Not getting my money refunded in a timely fashion has turned this into a bitter experience! Financed a 2013 Nissan Rogue on a Sunday 8/9/15 with a monetary down payment At Dick Hannah Hyundai of Portland. The entire sales process went quite flawless and the new sales person Art was very pleasant to work with. I returned the Rogue on Monday 8/10/15 due to a whining sound and lack of power once it was on the freeway. Told them I was not comfortable with the vehicle and wanted to return it. On Tuesday 8/11/15 I took advantage of the Peace of Mind pre-owned program 3 day return policy. Signed a HAND WRITTEN rescission of the deal since the computer was down! Called Dick Hannah Hunyadi of Portland on Friday 8/14/15 since I had still not been refunded my down payment, was told by Doug Clark that my down payment refund was being processed. I asked to make sure it would be in my account by the weekend! Saturday 8/15/15. I was NOT refunded my money after waiting 3 full business days! I spoke to the Sales Manager "Ricky" he explained the Corporate office was not open on Saturday to issue me a refund and that my refund was NOT being processed. Was told it would be faster to cut me a check than to reverse the debit, however a check wouldnt be cut until mid-morning on Monday. If I dont have a check thats cleared my bank on Monday I will be adding to this review and in their lobby letting them know how unacceptable this business practice is. I really hate to feel this way but hate even more to feel taken advantage of. Ive completely lost faith in everything they say! This was the first time in 15 years I have purchased a vehicle from a dealership and I see the methods havent changed of trying to take advantage of hard working peoples money. I completely understood that it would take a few days to rescind this transaction but I literally had the car for 24 hours. I dont know if the dealership is holding my money as a sales tactic thinking I will jump into a different purchase or if they are using my money to draw a very short term interest or have a corporate office that could care less about returning a customers money in a timely fashion?? The down payment was withdrawn from my account within 24 hours, obviously there was a sense of urgency to get my money but none to return it..it doesnt take over three business days to provide a refund! All I know is, after this little stunt of Dick Hannah Hyundai of Portland holding my money I absolutely will NOT purchase my vehicle from them and will tell everyone I know about how buying a car I have shopped months for turned into being taken advantage of! Oh....I even filled the gas tank the day I got the Rogue and was told I couldnt be reimbursed the $35, but if I purchase a car from them they would see to it I got a full tank! Wow.... I would bet that my down payment and a tank of gas are small change to Dick Hannah Dealerships, but to me, that is several hours, days and months of hard work and saving!! I dont know why the staff at Dick Hannah Hyundai of Portland are punishing me after selling me a faulty vehicle. I followed their return policy to a tee! I would definitely need my head examined if I ever considered buying from this outfit again!

I wasnt in the market to purchase or lease a new vehicle, and really only went to Dick Hannah Hyundai of Portland because I had checked on-line and discovered that they had my dream car (2014 Sonata Hybrid in Blue Sky metallic) on their lot. I knew that I couldnt afford it at this time, but I just wanted to see one before that model year went away because from what I could and can tell, that color wasnt going to be included with the 2015 models. I got to test drive my dream car, but in the end it just wasnt meant to be. However, while I was at the dealership I found out that they had an Accent in Clearwater Blue, which is so similar to the Blue Sky metallic that I love so much, that I found myself open to taking that bad boy home with me if we could work out a deal that would benefit both myself and the dealer. My salesperson was TED GALLAGHER and from the beginning I liked and trusted him. Hes a good guy and Im very happy that he ended up being the person that I spent the day with. The other salesperson/financial guru (Im not sure of his exact title) that I worked with was SCOTT DOYLE. I was in a position where I had very strict requirements as to what payments I could afford and usually negotiating the price is the part I think we all hate the most, but I am pleased to say that working with Scott was a breath of fresh air. Right from the beginning he shot straight with me and I appreciated that. I never once felt as though I was being taken for a ride or being made promises that the dealership couldnt actually keep. Scott helped me get my new car with payments that I feel very comfortable with and I couldnt be happier with the entire process. My finance and insurance manager was Roy Saydi, and just like with Scott, I enjoyed working with Roy because I never felt as though he was stringing me along. The other person that I worked with was CHRIS WARD with the dealers insurance department/Allstate, and it came as no surprise that it was also a pleasure working with him. He helped my girlfriend and me save some money by switching our insurance carrier, which was an awesome and unexpected surprise. I havent needed to visit the dealers service department yet, but I have been contacted by them to make sure that I know they are there for me when I need them. I will definitely be seeking them out for all of my vehicles needs. The last thing Id like to note is that I was contacted by both Scott and the dealers insurance department on my birthday, which was a really nice gesture. I love my new Hyundai and I love Dick Hannah Hyundai of Portland!!!

We walked out of Dick Hannah with what we thought was a great deal on a 2009 used car with low miles. We even bought an extended warranty which we though would be prudent. It seemed like a great deal form what the sales person told us. We were wrong! The cars check engine light went on less than 3,000mi after driving it off of the lot. Everything is fine right because we have two warranties? Wrong! First of all the dealership sales staff told my wife that the car had a 1 year limited certified warranty via the dealership. That should cover some of the mechanical repair? Wrong! It has a warranty on ONLY the durable parts like windshield wiper blades and nothing mechanical in the car. This is LIE NUMBER ONE! Second we were told that our extended "bumper to bumper" 7 year, 75,000 mile warranty could be used at ANY dealership of the same make of the car IF we lived more than 50 mi from Dick Hannah. Well, we do live more than 50 miles from Dick Hannah and took it to a dealership for repairs and low and behold, the work would not be completely covered and we had to pay for repairs because the warranty only covers repairs at Dick Hannah! WTF! Seriously?! What is the point of lying? My wife does not get angry easily, but she was livid. LIE NUMBER TWO! So we thought we could clarify the situation and called the Dick Hannah dealership to get clarification on our "double" warranties. We called 5+ times over 16 days and finally when we got a hold of someone in finance, they said, "well you should have read the website" regarding these warranties. Oh REALLY? When I am making a $20,000+ purchase I would expect some straight forward and accurate facts so I can make an informed decision. LIES or even half truths are what make people upset, frustrated, and angry. So what have we learned from all of this? Do NOT go to Dick Hannah to buy a car because they will tell you anything, including LIES to get you to sign on the line to buy a vehicle! We will never go back to Dick Hannah, and we have an will tell all our friends about this experience!!!
