Chatted with owner. Told him looking for honest shop to do return business with. Told me wanted to do diagnostics for $150, I thought ok Ill go along with it, later charged me $250 for the same thing I could have got from Autozone for free a little handheld computer report - no big fancy $250 dianostics. Thats just for starters. Went in for serpentine belt replacement and idle problems. Replaced sensor, "its so dirty, oil all over it". I said ok on the phone. When go there mechanic report said "blew out with air, seemed to work ok then, recommend replacing". Got old part back, nothing wrong with it. Wasnt even the sensor with the problem, I replaced that myself some months later. Charged me $1,200 didnt fix idle problem, didnt replace belt. They kept my car 9 days. When I got my car back they had put 50 miles on it - yes 50 miles. I think they let the mechanic take turns taking it home for the evening. STAY AWAY!!!!

What we liked; -they were sensitive to issues our car had -we were given a ride to a cafe nearby to wait at What we disliked: -veerryy pushy about getting very expensive not critical work done. -beating around the bush, not fully answering me when asked exactly the work Im paying for -PAYED FOR OIL CHANGE+inspection, only received the inspection. This really disappointed us (were a 23 year old couple on a cross country) because we were depending on them to have us road trip ready and we felt a little taken advantage of especially having explained the importance of that oil change. Conclusion: If you have unlimited time and patience and money that you want to see in this guys pocket, consider Morgans

If you want a no hassle experience for slightly more than the average shop, this is the place. If you want a bargain, or close to it, keep looking. I had my fuel pump replaced on a chevy s10 for 1037 (repair only, diagnosis was 90). Other shops quoted the repair for 900 - 970. The price of the pump was my only qualm. Morgan charged 660, while other places were charging 550 - 580 (only 360 on the internet). The filter was also 39 (15 on the internet). I would have gone elsewhere for the savings on parts, but the price and hassle of another tow truck changed my mind. Other than the higher price for parts, I was satisfied with my experience as a whole.

I had a problem with my ignition on my 97 Nissan Maxima, so I took it to Morgan Automotive and was beyond surprised at the service I received. They were very fast, friendly, and to the point. Explained what they planned on doing, and got right to it, without trying to up-sell me on anything more than what I needed. They found out late in the evening what was wrong, and before noon the next day, I got the call to come pick it up. Again, very friendly and fast, without any pushy sales tactics or "extra problems" that were found later. Great shop! I will come back here in the future if I have any more need for a mechanic.

Went to Morgan Auto once and they said it would cost me over $700 to fix my car. I told them I checked the internet and found a bunch of bad reviews and I decided I didnt trust them at all and I wanted my car back. They charged me $200 for NOTHING!!! I went to another place and they did everything for $104. I recently checked there internet reviews again and have found a ton of positive reviews! Either they became honest and hard working in 6 months, or (more likely) they decided to write a bunch of fraudulent reviews for themselves! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!

Brought my truck here because ot was close to my house. I got an estimate to have my brakes fixed amd they told me it would be around $200. When I wemt to pick up my truck they had also fixed the rotors without telling me and charged me $750. I looked it up amd theres no way even with the rotors it should have been that much and they should have told me they were going to do this first. I tried to talk them down because I couldnt afford that and my vehicle itself is only worth $2500 but they wouldnt let me take my truck until I came up with the money. Scamers, big time.

Im always skeptical about taking my car to new shops and being ripped off but this place is great! Brian at the front desk is super helpful and friendly. The brake job ended up taking longer than expected (VWs like to be difficult) but I was still charged exactly what I was quoted over the phone. I didnt take advantage of it but appreciated the shuttle service they offer as well. They also didnt go looking for/making up problems that needed to be fixed...did what I asked and nothing more. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Kate McNulty: Any repair shop is going to have some negative reviews, because it is just plain annoying to have car problems. However these guys have always been honest and helpful in my dealings with them. I trust them and have never has any sense of being ripped off or overcharged. They may not be the cheapest price you will get, I havent shopped around- but I know the car works when I get it fixed, they explain it in language I can understand, and I can count on their work. Theyre also friendly, and get you in promptly.

They are very honest and clear about work to be done. I took it there to get a second opinion, and they told me up front the first shop I took the car to was not being honest, and in fact talked themselves OUT of work and money, instead of going along with what the first shop had said and simply taking my money. I respect and recommend them completely. Always professional, friendly and fast with their repairs. They take extra time to review everything and explain everything.

Extremely helpful and friendly! They went above and beyond for us. We were in the worst of situations and a time limit to get back to LA. We needed a lot of work and parts. They kept us updated and informed about everything. We got ourselves and the car home safe thanks to them. Had we of went to any other mechanic Im doubtful that would have been possible. Thanks guys! Its almost worth the drive up to have them do all the maintenance on my car.

Absolutely professional & honest. Taking time to ask questions to understand the history of the issue and even took a test drive to verify the problem BEFORE fixing anything. They could have charged a lot more and replace things that I dont need. My car has ~280K and easy for a shop to say I need to replace this & that. Like previous comment (Michele B) that I was skeptical first about new shop but truly surprised by how honest they are.

These guys were fantastic. Brought our 2006 Chrysler Sebring in after it overheated repeatedly. They found a fault in the water pump, and notified us directly. Rather than push us to take on a stop-gap and financially burdensome repair, they encouraged us to pursue other options. That, to me, bespeaks a kind of honesty I usually dont find with mechanics. And an honest mechanic is truly worth his or her weight in gold.
