Hello all! I highly recommend this shop. I was referred here from a friend, and as the owner of a new (used) car, I am protective of where I take it. I cringed the whole time Jiffy Lube was working on it when I went in for an oil change. Now I wont be going anywhere but Re-Born. The lobby is super clean and inviting, not what you would expect from an auto shop. The owners are super professional and were willing to listen to my ideas about what was wrong with my car. There was a super loud and obnoxious screeching noise coming from the underside of my car, so I took video recording of the sound when I was driving and they were actually excited to hear it! Made me feel included in the process of figuring out what was wrong. Turns out there was a rock in my brake well, and it didnt cause damage but a small cosmetic nic in the well. I got lucky. Anyways, highly recommend this shop. Sincere owners. I especially loved that on the wall inside the lobby there were photos of the mechanics with their families - a little background about who they are as well as their credentials! Im honestly shocked by all of the good reviews. Ive had nothing but attitude and snootiness from these folks. They treat me like Im stupid and are fairly slimy in their approach. I just called to get some records from them (@ 5:15 pm) not knowing their close time. The main guy answered hello without introducing the business, so I assumed I had the wrong number, and when I asked if it was them, he gave me crap about being closed. I then asked, well then why did you answer? And he said hed hang up on me if I called back.... what?!? I told him Im taking my business elsewhere because I get this kind of strange treatment every time! Ive never had this reaction from other places I do business, so as far as I can tell, its not me! I always try to be extra friendly to folks working on my cars, house, etc. since its so important that it be done right! Working with them makes me so uncomfortable, and even though its a convenient location for me, I cant do it anymore. P.S. Their work was sub-par and over priced.

Re-found Reborn after a few years away from the area. So, glad! I trust them above all others, drive from Vancouver to have them service my Toyotas. Cliff explains things, answers all my questions. I always feel, even when its more than I had hoped the charges would be that I am getting it done right, fair price and outstanding customer service and guarantee. They checked out my Tacoma for fishing trip to AK/BC/Yukon, 4300 miles. Truck and service was outstanding, never had any issue whatsoever...So pleased to do business with, as are others I have recommended. Thank you, Reborn! Ro

These folks are amazing!! They fit me and my truck into a cancellation and got me back on the road for about 10% of the price I had been quoted at other shops. Their diagnosis was explained (and they explained why the other quotes I had been given were mostly bogus) and they recommended service that actually made sense to do. THANK YOU Vince and staff!! I will be back :) (PS they were recommended by my prior mechanics when they retired.)

What more can you ask of an auto shop than honesty and expertise? In addition ReBorn has the best, most comfortable waiting room ever, and they just feel like friends. And theyll take me to my office so I can work while they work on my cars. Have never used anyone else since moving to PDX in 2010, or since I moved to East Vancouver, WA a year ago. Its farther to get there now, but I never thought of even looking for another shop.

The best auto repair shop I have ever used. The mechanics are knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, persistent and effective. So is the office staff. Pricing is honest and clearly explained. The atmosphere is very low key, no hassle, one can see that they take their customers seriously and treat them like adults. Re-born has my strongest recommendation, the first time in a long lifetime I have ever recommended an auto repair shop.

I have been taking my car here for about seven years. Its a Saab -- a car that hasnt even been made for several years - and they always treat me fairly and do a great job. I have referred a lot of my friends there as well. A lot of auto shops will try to charge you for things that arent necessary or literally fix a bunch of things because they arent sure whats wrong, which can take time. I highly recommend their service.

Five stars on every level. Cliff, the service manager, made sure I was comfortable proceeding with various repairs before green-lighting anything. I never felt pressured into ok-ing a service. Labor costs were explained in detail upon request, and the work has been top-notch. Attention to detail at all levels is apparent as their shop is neat, and their waiting room clean and comfortable. Stellar all around!

I LOVE these guys! Ive been using and recommending Re-Born for years - they are honest, reasonably priced, super friendly and most of all approachable. No weird mechanic dynamic here...just good people running an honest business. I just paid $20 less to have their certified VW mechanic change my oil as opposed to some kid at Oil Can Henrys. I highly recommend Re-Born!

When I called, ready to bring my car in to Re-born for a repair, they suggested a simple repair that I could try myself. They could have just scheduled me for the $390 repair without bothering to tell me about the simple fix that I could try myself. Honesty and integrity are hard to find in business these days. Re-born has earned my trust and my patronage.
