I had taken my Toyota Corolla to the dealership three times reporting a loud squealing/screeching sound. Twice they told me there was nothing wrong, and once they took hundreds of dollars to not fix the problem. When I called No. 1 Japanese Auto Service I was looking for someone who could just fix the problem and put my mind at rest, and they had the best reviews. I can definitely see they had the best reviews for a reason! They listened to me, they fixed my problem in just a few hours, and they charged me a super affordable price! My car has been silent for the last few days since I took it in (I waited to write my review until I knew for sure!), and I am so grateful. Will be using their services again.

Been there over half a dozen times for regular maintenance on my 99 Honda which has over 200,000 miles. Always treated right and fair. You can trust this place not to rip you off which is a concern whenever you are looking for an honest mechanic, and these people are honest. Bill, the owner I believe his name is, always has been there to sit down and talk about the repairs. Once I thought I needed new brakes but it turned out to just be a rear brake pad that worn out, saving me hundreds. I will always bring my japanese autos there for repair and maintenance.

This place is great. I have had three cars serviced there for years. The owner, Bill, is friendly, honest, the rates are fair, the mechanics very competent and quick. He never tries to add unnecessary work. I have had several occasions over the years when tire companies or alignment shops have told me I needed break work, new shocks, etc. When I asked Bill to verify, he has said the work is not needed. He does not even offer to do it for less. I would never have anyone else work on my cars.

My 1996 Nissan Altima w/ 180K+ miles made a strange creaking noise that sounded like a brake issue. I took it to another shop and they said it was fine, yet it still made the creaking noise. Well, my radiator just cracked so I thought Id try this shop based on the reviews and was glad I did. My car needed several repairs - all of which my last mechanic seemed to have missed - and is now is great shape, no creaking. Plus is was all very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back!

Based on on my neighbors recommendation, I took my Toyota Corolla to get serviced at this shop. The mechanic I spoke to was very knowledgeable and Bill (the owner) seemed very honest, unlike other repair shop experiences Ive had in the past. Not sure about the not-so-happy rating from the previous reviewer - I can only say that Im definitely going back for my next service and would recommend these guys to my family & friends!

I took my Suberu in a while ago to get a squeel in my brakes looked at. Initially they said it was just rust and buffed it. But when I told them the squeek was severe they tried driving it and found the issue to be a bad bearing. They not only did the proper repairs right away but they didnt charge me for the labor time they used to diagnose the correct problem or for the brake buffing. Very satisfied.

I had the alternator on my Nissan fail as I was trying to leave for an extended camping trip. I called Bill at 7:30 am and he said bring it straight in. I did and was on the road well before lunch. I have referred several people since this visit and have only heard praise for Bill and his guys. I would send anyone with an Asian vehicle here. Update: I liked the place so much I bought it.

everyones telling the truth. the owner saved me $500 by telling my that I didnt need the stupid critical repairs that Subaru Specialists said I did. They explained everything before and after doing any work, then saved and showed me every part replaced (I know, I know, they could be some other cars..but I really trust these guys). Four months later and absolutely no problems whatsoever.

I took my Hybrid Honda Camry to Pearl Auto Service for its regular 45K miles maintenance check. They didnt try to up-sell me anything I didnt need, just gave my car a thorough inspection to make sure it was in good shape and did a routine oil/filter change. Its great to have a mechanic I can trust, and the place looks great under the new ownership. Ill be back. Thank you!

Nice folks. Very straightforward. Answer questions well. I used them for several years for both a Honda and a Subaru. Stopped using them when I realized they were quoting me the same prices that the dealer quotes, and sometimes even higher. If Im going to pay dealership prices, I would rather have the dealership do it.

Hi, I took my Honda in for repairs after the "repairs needed" were quoted from a Honda dealership repair shop. Not only were some of the repairs not needed, but I paid 50% less on my bill than what the dealer had quoted. Bill gets all of my business. I am taking in one of my other Hondas this week. I have three of them.

If you have a Japanese car, go here first. I have brought my 1989 Honda Civic Wagon to these guys for work under two different owners. The honesty, generosity, and good work ethic of their management and technicians is matched only by their knowledge of the vehicles specifications. They get it done right the first time.

I just had the most informative and helpful conversation with an automotive shop in my entire life. Although I have not brought my 05 Mazda 6 in for a (Unfortunately expensive) head gasket job yet, just based on the level of service and by far best price bracket these guys are at the top of my list.

These guys really know what they do. Vitalli is an excellent mechanic, and Bill, the shop owner is very honest. They always fixed my old car and never over charged or tried to do unnecessary repairs. Now I have a new honda and when the time comes Im going to take it to this shop.

We used this repair shop for our minivan a few times. The owner kept telling us that we essentially had a piece of junk and should buy a Toyota Sienna. Our problem with a recurring engine light never got fixed. We now drive a Toyota Sienna but have it serviced somewhere else.

For over ten years we have used these guys. Have had rebuilt engines put into Toyotas or Nissans for teens cars which priced reasonably and lasted for years. I always feel theyve told us the truth, what to spend money on, what not to. Glenn and Nola Smith Vancouver, Wa

Nice Guys! Agree with the rest of the 5 star comments. Took my car in to have them check it out. They didnt find anything wrong and didnt try to talk me into getting unnecessary work done. If/when something does need work Ill definitely take it back.

Trusted the reviews I had read here, and went in and had my car fixed the same day after going 3 different shops they finally fixed my problem. Highly recommend this shop. Bill is really cool!! 95 Nissan maxima control solenoid problem
