I had to bring in my car for some work. I had been putting it off because of finances so it wasnt in great shape. After my air conditioning belt broke I decided to ask around and check out reviews for a mechanic because I didnt really have one to call "my own". I dropped off my car, and talked with the mechanic who was going to be working on my car. Couldnt have been friendlier, didnt talk down to me or try and use my crappy car to their advantage. I do not know much about cars, unfortunately , so a lot of trust on my part has to be given to mechanics. I had requested a list of thing they recommend I do and felt no pressure to do them right then and there, which felt good. And because of that I will go back to them to finish up the list. Just want to give a shout out to Amy who was very on top of things in communication and getting me estimates in a very timely manner. My car is happy again, and drives better than it did when I first bought it used. Oh and on top of everything they actually cleaned my car , they nailed the big things and the little things. How can you not like a company like that. Thanks everyone at NW Performance, I will be seeing you to finish up my punch list shortly!

Waste of 1400$ sent my truck in for valve cover and tune up. I supplied the cover I just wanted it installed. Lasted a day and half and lost all my oil out the gasket. I paid for tow back to the shop. The driver informs me its appernently the cheapest shop in town hes lived here for his whole life. As I just moved to Vancouver so didnt know what shops where good out here. Well after waiting another 5 days I get it back and I dont even make it home (less than 4 miles from the shop) before I blow smoke everywhere. Now gasket has two leaks and two of the spark plug wires he replaced you could see electricity bouncing off the connection to the plug and anything metel around it. Like 3 zaps a second. If that would have caught any of the oil that was spraying out my engine it would have been done. Wasted 1400 not including tows. Im ever going back there. They just want your money trust me. Not great service at all

The mechanic we usually went to was great. He knew our car which is why we didnt mind going to him. Unfortunately, it looks like he no longer works there and the new "owner" seems very uneducated. Havent had too much experience with them yet, but so far it seems they didnt fix what they were supposed to fix on our car when we first bought it. So, now it is starting to act up again after only having it for a few months and having a "new" engine in it. Yet, the service engine soon light is on which shouldnt be on if its "new". The mechanics have no schooling or any mechanics background. They know nothing and the only mechanic that did, they fired. Would NOT recommend going to this place. They will screw you in the end and say they fixed something, but in reality just make it look and seem "fixed." Dont waste your time or money going to this place. Not worth it and you will regret it.

Sadly the employees that built this business and made it a trustworthy and reliable place for our customers have left it due to mismanagement by the ownership. We are, ourselves, very sorry to all of the people that we served and can no longer be there for, and we offer our sincerest gratitude for the work you trusted us with. We lived, breathed, and bled to be the best for our customers and create a business that had values and deserved respect and earned loyalty. Please be cautious about dealings with this establishment from now on. We took pride in our hard work and were dedicated to our customers. The ownership and new management are not like us. It was so great to work with the NW Performance team! Brian provided my mother and I with excellent service! I was out in Vancouver last month and bought a set of tires from them too. If you are in need of a clean, professional shop, then NW Performance is the place for you. I visited my mother last week in Vancouver again and I went with her to get her car checked, she also needed new tires. Unfortunately, she let her engine overheat and she needed it fixed ASAP. Brian and his crew treated us fairly and with respect. All of the workers were professional. The price was as promised and reasonable. The shop looked brand new too!

I was extremely impressed with the knowledge, professionalism, and timeliness of this team. I needed some major repairs done which they were able to complete in one day. One of the gentlemen there even gave me a ride home instead of having to call a cab which was above and beyond their call of duty. The price was definitely fair for what they had to do, Brian explained to me what was done, what still needed to be done, and the urgency in which it needed to be done. I strongly recommend this shop and will definitely return for any future repairs. Thank you for your awesome customer service.

I have brought both of my junker work vehicles into this shop and through out ever problem that has occurred, they have been more than willing to put in the time and effort to do it right and at the lowest cost I could find in a 50 mile radius. I live in Tigard and drive here when I need work done. Modifications, stereos, engine, tranny, suspension and anything else your mind can think of, these certified mechanics and handle it. Best place I have had the pleasure of working with in my life on the west coast. If you are smart, you will come here.

Being a woman who doesnt know too much about cars, its always hard to go into a shop and not feel like youre being tricked. The guy who talked to me told me straight up what was up with my oil pressure and took time out of what looked like his extremely busy day to make sure I knew exactly what was going on. Im embarrassed though that my car is a mess, Ive been living in it, but there was no judement. Thank you so much for helping me when I really needed it. Youll get my business again soon.

Ive had these guys do a few jobs for me. Theyve been honest and they work fast. Their prices are reasonable, much more so than many of the local repair shops. They dont gouge you. They recently painted my calipers for me and when I got it back I decided I wanted a different color. I was willing to pay for it but they re-did it for no cost because they wanted me to be happy. Hows that for customer service?

The most unprofessional (front office) and unorganized car repair place I have ever encountered. The only good thing that occurred is Jim got the job done right in the 8.5 hours that it took for a 2 hour job. I left there feeling like I was the problem not my car even when I was given a couple discounts. So out of line.
