Scott and his team are the best in the business! I have always found it difficult to find an auto repair shop that acts with integrity and puts the best interests of the customer first. Sherwood Auto Repair can be trusted to provide the highest quality service and repairs. The team takes the time to explain their work and how to maintain your vehicle properly. I have been extremely happy with the repairs done to my car and feel I have found trusted mechanics that care about their work and care about my business. They answered all of my questions and ensured I was satisfied with the work done to my car. I also love that they send me reminders about oil changes and specials that they run. I would not take my car to anyone else after having been to SAR!

My daughter introduced me to Sherwood Auto Repair. I have a 2003 Durango that I love and it was not running half the time. I called, got an appt. right away and they fixed it that same day. It ran for several years and then it needed some help again. Same scenario, I called, they set up an apt that fit into my schedule, took it in and had it back as planned. The people are friendly and professional. The cost of repair in both instances were reasonable, and I knew what to expect before they did the work. NO SURPRISES!. I will continue taking my cars to Sherwood Auto Repair for the fast service, polite and professional people, the knowledge that they have and the consistency I have experienced. Called to get a quote for some work, gave my name and phone number, they said theyd call me back... that was yesterday. It hadnt dawned on me until I woke up this morning upset, that I had called Sherwood Auto Repair last time I needed work done and never heard back from them that time either! Ive never had any work done by them, but I assure you I will never. If you feel my pain, then heed my words. The group Ive had a ton of success with is the team at Clutch and Break Doctors of Beaverton, but they also have a Lake O location too now. Youd probably be surprised with what all they do and its the best price and they do it FAST! Good luck in your endeavors, and may your car be fixed quickly and painlessly.

Im very happy to have found such a great place for car servicing or repairs so close to home and easily contacted for an appointment thanks to their great online service options (setting up the appointment, even getting reminders to avoid forgetting the appointment). Its great for someone who can be at odds with standard working hours and poor at remembering to call during those hours. I like the key-drop option too for those of us who have different hours. The business is convenient to home and bus/train commute stops as well. Total win for me. Ive always been happy with the service and convenience. And the guys who work there are great too!

I first knew this shop as an account while I was an enterprise employee. So Ive heard lots of customer feed back about them and they are overwhelmingly good. Once I took my car there for a window motor replacement and they accidentally broke my window. They immediately called me to tell me they are taking full responsibility for that which they then replaced for free. A lot of shops could have said the window broke and there was no avoiding it, or the window was already broken. But SAR didnt. They were honest and thats why Ill always go back.

Awful experience. I was charged $115 to diagnose a $100 problem. But they tried to charge me over $400 in extra things I didnt need i.e. spark plugs which were brand new. The worst part is that my car drove significantly worse after leaving to get a second opinion. At the next place I went to the cost of the diagnoses was removed from my final bill which actually came to $200, very reasonable. If you are considering going here dont bother. The "customer for life" reviews are obviously written by the company itself.

Went here a little over a year ago and had my fans fixed. They changed my oil without my go ahead (so I thought) so I paid anyway. Went to change my oil a few weeks ago and realized, they never actually changed my oil and gave me a mileage sticker that was inaccurate. Ive been driving my car about 20,000 miles over an oil change. Numerous things could have gone wrong with my car, thank god it didnt. Do not recommend their scrumminess.

I would send anyone to Sherwood Auto Repair. These people allow me to quickly drop by to check out my vehicle -- and I just recently told my 23 year old daughter to make sure she finds the same kind of place in San Diego. Going to a mechanic that you trust to both give you an honest evaluation and to perform honest work -- PRICELESS!

Since I drive an old landcruiser with 230,000 miles on it Im glad I have these folks on my side. Ive been a customer for many years/many cars and have never been unhappy with my service. Ive referred many of my own customers to them too and they are pleased as well. Thanks sherwood auto for keeping me on the road!

I went to this company for a cooling issue. The service manager called to say it was fixed then an hour later, Sam the owner called me and told me they couldnt fix my car. I got a lot of mixed signals from this company. I dont feel they are trustworthy. Awful experience, I do not recommend.

Dont waste your money. They charge too much to find the problem and try to confuse you as to what needs fixed. I went somewhere else and they saved me hundreds. Go somewhere else. Im surprised they have any customers at all.

They charged me $100 just to diagnose my car. They gave me an estimate of $1500 to fix the problem. I took it to the Meinike down the road instead and got it fixed there for half the price.
