Complete price gouging!!!!! Save yourself ALOT of money and call another plumber. I asked why my quote was so insane and they said they have "insurance to pay for, trucks to pay for, people to answer the phones to pay for etc" and they need "to pass along these expenses as needed to cover their overhead"...my jaw dropped. I get that some jobs can be expensive and the cost of overhead but they simply go for the jugular. I got sucked in because the service fee was only $59 and figured their pricing would be fair.... Dont fall for that trap.

We called Shaffer Plumbing to install PEX piping in lieu of our old copper ones. We have had pin holes leaks constantly and were afraid to go away. The sent, Luke, who was absolutely wonderful. The job was scheduled for 3 days, but he finished in 2. He was thoughtful (it was raining) and put down tarps to walk on. He was clean (everything was neat and tidy). He was kind to our pain in the butt dog who just wanted to see what he was doing. Would recommend Shaffer Plumbing and Luke to anyone.

I loved the idea that this company took its time and their choice of jobs seriously, I rather have paid a little more but I received better workmanship, and the fixes (I believe) will last longer than other contractors considered. My perspective is focused on; the Price (now) versus the Cost (to maintain over time); I paid more now but got better work and will save more money long-term because it was done with excellence.

Shaffers does a good job, however they are twice as expensive as any other plummer. If you have a small job, they will price it Very High so that you wont use them. There are a lot of other good plummers out there that are much cheaper.

Called about getting work done. Gal on the phone said someone would call me back. Its been 3 weeks now and never got a call back. Not a good sign.
