I work for a busy used car dealership that has 2 locations, Used Car World, and we send a lot of repair work out to shops around the area. This is the shop we use for our transmission work and also some of our other work because the owner, Jay is fair and honest, and we get excellent quality work at a great price. Jay has saved us from unnecessary expensive repairs on numerous occasions. For example, one time we had a Ford Explorer that we were told needed a transmission and Jay accurately diagnosed it as needing a catalytic converter. I would recommend him to anyone.

I took my car to Wallmart to change oil. They recommended me to check transmission that it may be leaking. Then I called Cottman Transmission for making an appointment to see it. The person on the phone gave me the appointment right away. He looked at it and didnt see any problem. It was not only a quick service but also explained what made the people in the Wallmart see that looked transmission leaking. Very professional way of dealing. Even though it took quite sometime for doing all these, he didnt charge me. I very much recommend.

Had transmission die on my trailblazer called cottman and got an up front price from friendly staff members also car was not drivable so got a FREE tow to the shop tow truck came 2:30pm on Monday and got a call Wednesday at 4:00pm rebuilt transmission installed and ready for pickup got there and bill was exactly the price I was quoted thanks so much Jim n Jay for everything recommend for all transmission needs. Also price was $500 less than other shops I called around town.

These guys are awesome! Super honest and always get it right! I would recommend them to anyone. I have been to them many times, but most recently I had a speed sensor go bad in a Santa Fe and they fixed it for almost nothing. Thanks!!!!!! You guys are the best!!!!!! :) :)
