Long story short: hands down best oil change experience ever! Long story long: Had to switch my oil change place, so I searched and searched for a new place! I am always weary about where I go to get car services done. If its not them trying to financially take advantage of me, then they are behaving improper and unprofessional towards me. I was skeptical about this place for that reason and because some of the reviews, however, I came in at about 11am on a Thursday. Was greeted kindly, told to go wait in the office. Nice environment, clean and spacious compared to other places I have been to. Forgot to look at the wall for the in depth breakdown of all their oil change deals, but I did have a coupon. $29 for a 17pt oil change that includes a lot of neat things (which is a great thing about them, they always have coupons online!) About 10 minutes in I was told to go outside with the kind man so he could give me an overview of everything. Told me about what they checked, and the condition of things in my car, also told me what he recommended I get but was not pushy AT ALL. No pressure salesman tactic vibes at all. Just very nice and informative. Then I was told theyd be done soon, and to wait inside. Another 5 or 6 minutes later my car was done, I was shown the total which surprised me a bit since I was using the coupon but it did say that using the oil I asked for would be extra. At my old place for the same kind of deal (but much more mediocre job, bad environment, and pushy inappropriate customer service) I usually pay around $35. Here I paid $50, but the job was done extraordinarily, customer service was impeccable, and the environment was much nicer. They had the car parked out and around so I could exit easily. I would say it was worth it! Highly recommend!

Ive been going to this particular Speedee to get my oil changed since 2002. Theyve always been overpriced, but theyll vacuum out your car and fill wiper fluid and all the other things a good service technician should do. Changing oil is hard to mess up, lets be clear on this. Last time I went to get my oil changed they came to me and told me the hood wouldnt close and asked if this has been a problem (they were the last ones to have it open mind you). I told them I was aware it doesnt close easy and that a couple of attempts would solve the problem. I watched them unscrew some bolts to mess with the latch. After getting it closed they told me that all they had to do is lubricate the latch... okay. Why didnt they try that first? I find out later by a really loud popping sound when I get up in speed that they didnt screw one of the bolts back in. So after I over payed ($110 for only an oil change and rear differential fluid) I have to go to a hardware store and match this bolt. Thanks Speedee, now I know not to ever patronize your business again.

I came for an oil change and inspection. I wanted my air filters replaced, also. They had to order an air filter from somewhere else to be brought to them. I understand that you dont always have things in stock, but I should not have to wait an hour to get the air filter so I passed on that when they told me Id have to wait longer. The biggest problem I had, though, was my tech telling me that my serpentine belt had cracks and wouldnt pass inspection. I looked up what is on the state inspection and talked to my husband (who is an auto body tech) and neither of us could find anywhere on the list on the TXDPS website that said it would be part of the inspection. Im not an idiot and dont appreciate being treated as such.

“Been going to Speedee on Jupiter and Buckingham for 30 years. Several times they told me something was wrong with my car, but when I took it to my very trustworthy mechanic, he said there was nothing wrong. I put up with it, but last year was the last straw. It was one week before the election and I had to spend 45 minutes hearing the old guy behind the counter spewing forth the most vile hatred I have ever had to hear in person. I couldnt go outside, because I cant stand up for very long. I will never go back there.”

Just had my oil changed and they insisted that my F150 with the 2.7L eco boost needed 7 quarts of oil while the manual says 6. I just checked my oil and it is 1 quart over full. I got on the internet and found out that it does take 6 quarts but takes 10-15 minutes for the oil to run down and show on the stick. So they charged me for a quart that I didnt need and could damage the engine for over filling it. They also said it needed full synthetic and the manual says synthetic blend.

My husband used to take our cars there for oil changes. I went up there for an oil change and for them to check on a problem one of our cars was having and they told me the fix itself would be $300+. I left and went to AAA motor since I had been there before and had them fix it. My total was $160 there!!! Havent had a problem since. I almost got ripped off here and dont trust enough to go back for any more services.

They are very bad and trying every second to charge you more money , I m changed my ford fusion oil today and they told me I must use synthitic oil which is mentioned in car manual but when I recheked the manual I found they was lie , And I hange discount copon inside my car but htey didnot make any discount , Bad service and my advice is to lookin g for new one, Thanks .

My son has used this Speedee oil for years because I used it for years. A few minutes ago, after writing his review, he was called and cursed out by someone from Speedee oil. I will no longer frequent this business and I will tell everyone Speedees problem resolution is to call someone a SOB! That is wonderful customer service!!!

I love this SpeeDee they are very good people, they treat my wife and daughter with the upmost respect. They are never pushy like other service stations. I will recomend this business to any of my friends as well as all of my family....Thank You for always doing a great job.

Most courteous and knowledgeable employees, from the cashier to the technicians, I have ever dealt with. Very personal service. Kept me updated on the progress of my car. Helped me in and out of the waiting room in my wheelchair. Sure bet for any automotive service.

This place really provides excellent service. Not only are the people very welcoming, they take the time out to walk you through every bit of work they do on your vehicle. Definitely will be getting all maintenance done here and I highly recommend others to do so.

I have been using SpeeDee for over 8 years. Even when I moved from Garland, I would travel for my oil changes, inspections, and any other issues I had with my car. They will wipe and vacuum your car as a courtesy. Not many places do that now. Thanks again guys!
