HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. We hired movers for Sunday, 4/24/16 and were VERY unhappy with the service. Only one guy seemed to speak English so when they were asking where things went and I was directing them half the stuff was moved to the wrong place. So now we get to go re-move dozens and dozens of boxes within the house because they didnt understand us. Numerous boxes labeled VERY FRAGILE were tossed around without care, I have not even had time to go through all of them, so I wouldnt be surprised if picture frames & glass decorations werent broken. I was literally chasing after the movers yelling "Thats fragile!", or "Be careful! Thats glass." which is absolutely ridiculous, if the box is labeled fragile, they need to be taking extra care on their own and not having the homeowner running around to ensure our belongings were not damaged. Numerous pieces of furniture, walls and door jams were dinged because they were rushing through and not taking their time around corners (this is a brand new construction, the house had ZERO dings prior to the movers coming in). Then to make it worse, one of the movers fell off the back of the truck and dropped our 1 year old Samsung dryer off the back of the truck onto the drive way & caused damage to the top, back, side and bottom!! And to top off the terrible service, the mover who fell off the truck and dropped the dryer tried to convince my husband not to file a claim if they plugged it in and it worked fine.He said he might get his pay docked if we filed a claim. Although I am sympathetic, since I know it was an accident, that is totally unprofessional and ridiculous to try to get out of the responsibility of repairing the damage. I have contacted the company, and will update once they have had a chance to evaluate the damage. <-- Update 5/23/16. Company agreed to refund my entire move & as per their insurance policy "paid" for the damage to the dryer. "Paid" means they cover .60 cents per pound for damage..so for a 126 lbs dryer..this equals $75.60. Which covers NOTHING basically. So I had to take the refund money from the move, plus the $75.60 and still fork out another $200 to replace the dryer since it was damaged beyond repair. BUYER BEWARE, "bonded and insured" sounds good on paper, but when you see what they actually cover, might as well hire a few friends to do the work for you. I changed the review from 1 star to 2 because of their willingness to refund the move.

Worst moving experience ever! We moved only 8 miles and these guys damaged almost everything we had: our dining table, china cabinet, an expensive office desk and leather couches. Even our Elleptical was scratched all over and our new dryer got a big dent on the top! After filling pages of claim with description and the weight of the damaged stuff (how are we supposed to weigh these things?!), they offered us $250,- for the damages !!! It was rediculous. Then we found out the movers lost the remote control to our elevation bed, so now we cant use that function! The movers were very slow and made us pay for an extra day. We had ordered 2 trips for one day since the distance was short but after the first trip they decided to stop and leave, telling us to call the company and order a new truck for next day! Their manager was surprised when we called to order another truck. He said they shouldnt have left that early but the company still charged us a new start fee. We treated the movers very well, helped them with moving the boxes and offered them food and water but they handled our stuff very carelessly and left many things behind(chairs, pictures,...) that we had to go back and move with our own car. Very disappointing, esp. after reading all the good reviews online :-( Im not sure if theyre true.

This was our first experience using a moving company. We had a friend tell us about Apple Moving and recommended them. We sold our ~1700 sq ft home and moved about 5 minutes away. It was very easy to schedule and reschedule (due to my error) an appointment. The movers were on time and polite. There was a language barrier with 2 out of the 3 movers helping us. Luckily, my mother in law was at the house and could communicate with them. The entire move took about 6 hours which caught me off guard when it came time to pay. We were expecting 4 or so hours but since this is my first moving experience, we didnt have a prior baseline. We ended up having to go back to the home we sold and pack up the rest of our belongings that were in the garage. We also noticed a few dings on the walls, but those were easily touched up with paint. The crew offered to put our furniture back together, but we opted out due to the amount of time they had already been with us. If we ever move again, we will use movers, however it may not be with Apple Moving. I will definitely call around and get other estimates since it was much more than we were planning to spend.

We had never hired movers before but decided it was time to try. The scheduling was simple and a real person actually answers the phone imagine that a rare event these days. We had two different homes to move one a hour away and one only 10 minutes from the new home we purchased. The crew was prompt on the arrival time and even called when they where 15 minutes out to let us know. They moved two 1600 SQFT homes full of furniture into our new two story 3500 SQFT home in 8 hours including the drive time from the home a hour away. We had so much stuff they had to empty the truck from the first house before they could load the second one. Before they left we had them reassemble all the furniture and they did a great job. No complaints here would definitely hire them again. Highly recommend I wish everyone weve hired to help us with our new house was this good. I firmly believe you get what you pay for. There may be less expensive movers out there but when it comes to moving I felt they where more than fair. Jon & Brenda thank you and so do our backs!!!

Long review to follow, but bottom line... THIS IS THE BEST MOVING COMPANY YOU COULD HIRE & I will never hire another again. From the moment I called in for a quote, the woman who helped me, Heather, was extremely friendly and helpful. I genuinely felt like she cared about my move & wanted it in the best hands. I was in a desperate position trying to move into my new apartment early (and last minute) before Hurricane Harvey hit. They worked with me and allowed me to reschedule numerous times without getting annoyed. The crew that came out was fast, courteous & careful and got the job done in 2.5 hours while working IN THE RAIN. As a single mom I could only afford to tip $30 but I wish I could have given them so much more. I can honestly say that the reason my son & I are safe right now is because Apple Movers got us into our new place just in time. I will refer them every chance I get! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
