Chose this place after getting a second estimate from them after getting a first estimate from another shop. The value was great for the service and the part. I think they were easy to work with, and friendly. My wife initially took the car in to see if they needed to order any parts for the next day repair to happen. My wife was pleased with how she was treated. So to summarize: Great Value.. check... Wife Test... check Easy to work with.. check... Is my car fixed now a few weeks later.... check. I agree that their office isnt very cozy, and the whole ambiance could be better, but overall a great experience and a happily completed and paid for repair. It doesnt hurt either that an Ihop, a Movie Theater, and Microcenter is within walking distance if there is a wait.

These guys try to give you a possible but incorrect diagnosis that ends up way more expensive than it should be. I had an acceleration problem in my truck and a strange noise coming from the cat converter. I asked one of the guys to check it out for me, but told me that its probably the fuel system or the ignition system, which working on those systems can turn out way more expensive. Finally I told him to replace the cat converter, and it turns out that that was the problem. I recommend going here if you absolutely know the problem in your car, because if you dont, theyll try to charge you for something way more expensive.

My catalytic converter went out, and one shop priced me double what I paid at Spring Valley Muffler. The main guy quoted me an amount when I stopped by, and that is what I was charged when I picked up my vehicle the day it was repaired, even though they had some difficulty with the rust on my car due to it being from the north. Dropped it off in the morning before work, picked it up on my way home. Also I took my car by there last year to fix a muffler hanger, and I had a pretty severe oil leak. They fixed it for around $100 bucks, though I cant remember what was the issue. Good service, fair pricing.

This place is shady as hell. I walked in and a young female customer was arguing with the manager. He was like a 24 year old kid. They were charging her $400 for something, and apparently they had given her no estimates, but were charging her for work she hadnt approved (from what I could tell from their conversation). Then the manager loses his temper and threatens to beat up the customers uncle/dad who was with her and was also complaining. I walked out immediately. I mean call the police if you have to, but theres no need to get violent. This place was a joke!

My wife has taken her car twice here. Once for brake pads and another time to check on the struts. The price was more than fair, and they only did repairs that were necessary on struts. She was in and out without an appointment in a very timely manner. If you want a place that is fair and saves you money by not having the bells and whistles in waiting area, etc it is worth checking out!!!

Spring Valley Discount Muffler and Car Care was referred to me by a friend. I normally go to Kwik Kar, whom I like alot, but the price that Spring Valley Discount Muffler gave me for my repairs was alot better, and they had the work done the same day. I was very impressed and happy with them. I will be coming back next time I need repair work done.

Hands down, the only place that I take my cars for all the work I need done. I have brought my cars since 2010 and although my cars have changed, the service here does not. He is an honest mechanic, will only refer you to another honest mechanic if he cant help you. What more can you ask for?? LOVE the service there, thanks so much!!!!

Came here once after some other shop told me they couldnt help me and, like the rest of the reviews said they are awesome! I thought I would need a new motor from what the first place said but sure enough it was a simple carbonator problem. I take my car here for almost everything

Great service. The repair charge was exactly what they had quoted and the mechanic even reattached a wire that had come loose from a front blinker as a courtesy. I would definitely recommend this shop.
