After a few years of service with this company I have now cut all ties with them due to a few factors. First, their services are all a bit pricey. That, in and of itself, isnt a problem. I was happy to pay a premium for superior service but when service becomes mediocre (at best) the prices they charge are simply not justifiable. The first major issue with their services I had was with their landscaping department. The landscaping jobs have been atrocious the last two times I commissioned work form them. They nearly killed two separate rows of bushes and only offered to use some fertilizer on them to try and get them to bounce back. In other words, they would not offer any sort of price break despite the fact that their work was woefully inadequate. In the end it took 3 months but the bushes are finally back to normal and I plan trim them myself from now on rather than have ABC destroy them and make them look terrible without apology. After that I decided to no longer use them to do landscaping work but continued to use them for other services. Next, they began to drop the ball when mowing my lawn. Occasional accidents happen but over a few months the occasional accident became the rule, not an exception. They cut a cord for my outdoor flower bed lighting without telling me. They mowed over a beautiful bush that was flowering at the time. They left the gate wide open. Every time it was something. It was very annoying but I just accepted it as possibly a bad series of accidents. I didnt cancel services for this alone but after the next issue that came up it played a role in my cutting ties with the company completely. The final straw was when I canceled pest control services. I actually didnt have a problem with their pest control services, I just wanted to save a few bucks and decided to cut it out for a while. I used their online system to cancel the service and then called to make sure my cancelation request was accepted. I was assured that it was and that there would be no more scheduled pest control services to my home. Well, about 3 weeks later, I got a postcard and e-mail telling me I had a new pest control service scheduled. I called them up and told them to cancel it because I was no longer under contract with them. They agreed that I wasnt and that the service should not have been scheduled and then they canceled the service. Nobody ever came to do any pest control, just as was agreed. However, the day after the "canceled" appointment I got an e-mail telling me I was being billed for pest control. I called and told them about the issue and they assured me both that nobody came out and that they would erase the bill. About a month later, the bill was still there. I called yet again and they tole me they could not just erase the bill, that they would need to review the phone calls to make sure I canceled service and to make sure nobody came out. That was the last I could take, I told them to cancel all services I had with them including HVAC services. Bottom line: They are grossly incompetent at best...dishonest at worst. I advise you to say away from them and to seek services elsewhere

I called the San Antonio phone number on Saturday about repairing an AC unit. After a lengthy wait, a female CSR brusquely told me that they would only be able to send out a technician the next day, by the afternoon at the earliest. She also reminded me that they would charge extra because the service would fall on a Sunday. I told her to schedule the call, but to please contact me before dispatching someone in case I found someone who could fix it. Sure enough, another company was able to come out on Saturday evening to diagnose the problem. ABC was closed, so I planned to call them in the morning to cancel the call since they said it would definitely fall in the afternoon. Sunday morning, I awoke to four missed calls before 10:00 am (clearly not in the afternoon) and a voicemail from the same CSR. She said, in an annoyed tone, that the technician would be inbound within 30 minutes and that I should call her back to confirm. When I returned the call to tell her that their services will no longer be needed, she became extremely rude, complaining that they sent a technician from Austin (why?? Im in San Antonio and contacted their location here in town! Its not my fault theyre understaffed.) "Theres no need to be so passive aggressive," I said, to which she literally scoffed and hung up the phone. An unpleasant experience all around -- the price they quoted just to diagnose the problem was much higher than the competition, the CSR was frighteningly rude all the way through the process, and I actually felt personally insulted. Such poor business practices all around.

UPDATE: ABC Quality Control got involved with my account the next day and scheduled the requested service; and provided a follow up email to me. Lets see if they remember to do the 30 day follow on treatment that I paid for.......... One Big Cluster - NO STARS. Setting up a new account - very simple - Aerate the yard; apply turf enrichment and fungicide on a quarterly basis. One time 30 day follow up for disease control. All clearly stated on the signed agreement. To schedule, you have to call a # in Austin and get transferred 2x. The person doing the scheduling apparently doesnt have the agreement with type of service and frequency. After explaining what service I want - good news, they can treat the yard the next day. Next day comes - ABC mows and edges the lawn - WTF!! Next day "Eddie" shows up to treat the lawn with no plans to aerate. "Go away Eddie". Call the account mgr Tony Green, Ive been in meetings all morning but I will find out whats going on.

Management is EVERYTHING..Everyone treat these poor telemarketing young folks that are trying to make a living like dirt. Shame on you management for looking down on ANY of your employees and treating them less and FORGETTING that is a reflection on YOU!!! After all, lets not forget YOU work there too. When you CHOOSE to snub down at employees that YOU hired, it shows YOUR lack of character and a HUGE reflection of the company for having hired you!!! Since Ive been watching these reviews I can tell YOU that you have lost my business and will NEVER patronize any company that treats ANY one of their employees as such and makes them feel any less than human! And btw owners of this company or GM shame on YOU for not taking note on how your managers are treating their employees as it is ALSO a reflection on you as well!!!

Horrible service. My fiancée and I are both active duty military and are gone a lot. We tried to schedule a service when my fiancées family would be available for the service, they had to drive in from Houston for the appointment. ABC promised that they would be on time with no issues and that our satisfaction would be of their highest importance. They lied. They said they would be there by noon, they were not. Then they said they would be there by 4, there were not. Then they said it would be after 5. I told them to cancel the service and I would find someone else to do the job. My in-laws drive in for nothing. They made no effort to fix their mistake. I will never use their service and will not recommended it to anyone. I wish I could give it zero stars.
