The first time I went to them, two of our tires with really low tread, came out one morning to find a flat, wheel ran over some screw. We didnt have the money to fully replace it, so they offered us used tires for half the price. We accepted. We told them we can come back and replace it within 3 weeks as that would be when we could afford it. One week later, we are driving and the used tire pops, very scary, but we survived. A different tire service company was near by where it happened, so we got in touch with them. They told us the tires we had that were used were completely different sizes and the wrong size for our vehicle. We were lucky we werent on the freeway, and it was only a matter of time for this to happen with how bad the tires were. So the used tires were not even safe to use period! This happened over 3 years ago. I have since heard that things have changed. The second time I used this company I didnt have a choice. I had to have some body work done to my vehicle due to an accident with sliding on ice. Once the body work- done by DENT MASTERS they outsourced it to the AF location of certified tires. I got my vehicle back and it was shaking, it didnt feel right. As it turns out, Certified tire did exactly as they were told to by Dent masters. They advised dent masters about the shaking. Dent masters did not tell me this, nor did they have certified do anything more. There was a communication issue. Since my review, the communication issue has been worked on (you can see that info at the end of this review). Long story short- I took it back and dent masters told me it needed another alignment, even though they just had one done. It was still shaking when I got it back. Took it to another place for a second opinion, turns out, the axle was bent. Certified tires was able to fix that and did a great job. However, since they were told to only fix that by dent masters, I noticed that it was still driving funky. I Went to another place, found out, the wheel bearing needed to be replace. I ended up paying out of pocket because dent masters told me I have to talk to my insurance. I am still working with my insurance on that issue. A few weeks later: The owner reached out and spoke to me directly, I was impressed he took the time. I learned that because I was not their direct customer, the information they got about my vehicle was by Dent Masters. Dent masters dropped the ball in this case. They did not relay the correct information, they only sent it over to have the alignment done. Certified tire can give dent masters information, but it is up to dent masters as to what gets done. Certified tire did notice the shaking, but dent masters did nothing with that information. I appreciate the time the owner took of his busy schedule to right a wrong and help bridge that communication, even though I wasnt his direct customer. I now look forward to working with certified tires directly rather then through another company. I would recommend to work with them directly if at all possible as they will stand by their products and services.

The people at Certified Tire & Service are liars. They wanted to charge me $650 for a problem that didnt exist. I only hope that all the other customers, whose great reviews led me to go to them, have not all been cheated the way that they tried to cheat me. The people here may SEEM nice, but theyre greedy calculating liars. I went in on April 20 (my birthday) to have my break pads checked (they had been making an awful metal on metal scraping noise). The guy came out and very sympathetically told me that my cars calipers were bad, and went into detail about how it was a very uncommon problem for a car so new (2008 Honda Accord). He explained that I would need new calipers, new roters AND new break pads. This would cost $653. He took me out to see my car and showed me the break pads explaining how the fact that the inner break pad was worn down more than the outer is how you can tell that you have faulty calipers, he explained the problems causes and effect etc. I left crying about the cost (Im 20. I dont have that kind of money to just spend), but feeling so relieved that I had found such "great" and "NICE" mechanics. I didnt have the money to get it fixed, so I went home completely stressed. I called the Honda dealership to find out if it was still under warranty and the mechanic there told me that there was NO way that my calipers were bad. I talked to Certified Tire and Service again and mentioned that the Honda dealership was very skeptical, he said that they just didnt want to believe it. I had no idea who to believe so I decided to have it looked at somewhere else, but also started to get price quotes from other mechanics so that I would know who to go to to get it fixed. EVERY random mechanic I called and told I needed new calipers for an 08 would just ask in shock "WHAT? a 2008...seriously?!". I eventually ended up taking my car to another mechanic (Jerry Lambert Automotive, they rock and are very honest) it turned out that there was NOTHING wrong with my calipers, my roters could be turned instead of replaced, and in the end all I needed was new break pads. Jerry also explained that there is NO way to tell if calipers are even broken unless you have the breaks taken apart. AND that the inside of your break pads will ALWAYS wear faster than the outer. Never trust these people.

We noticed a shaking issue with our brakes and went in to get it fixed. They assured us replacing the front rotors would fix the problem. That was $300. The shaking was still happening, so we went in again. They assured us replacing the back rotors would fix the problem. That was $300. A week or two later, it was worse than ever, so we went back in. They assured us replacing the front rotors one more time would definitely fix it for good, and since it was under warranty theyd do it for free. The next day, the problem was still a problem. Im at least sure we didnt need to spend that $300 on the back rotors. When we went in at first for the front ones, they said the backs would be fine for a while. They also told me Giving it 2.5 stars rounded up to 3 because at least they supported the warranty and we didnt have to pay again to have them fix what they fixed even though that didnt fix it. Im not going to give them 1 star for a simple screw-up that cost me a lot of money, even if they should have known better. Edit: Went to another mechanic who spent a little more time diagnosing the issue. Turns out its actually a bad wheel bearing (which will only take $240 to replace). Too bad we spent $600 to replace all the rotors before finding that out.

Wow!!! Awesome service!! So i am actually from south east Idaho. Yesterday, we were getting ready to make the trip from American Fork back to our home when we realized our tires were really bald. Luckily, we were in the Applebees parking lot when we noticed, that just right across the street was a tire place. Since we were not from the area and not familiar with the company, it felt like a risk to go with them at first, instead of Walmart or Costco. But we had a good feeling about taking that risk so we crossed the street and walked right up to the front desk. We were very impressed with how quickly we were greeted and by how friendly the way we were treated by the employees there. I began to explain the problem we were having with the tire, and immediate attention was given. The man at the desk said "lets go have a look" and with in only 2 or 3 minutes he knew exactly what tires we needed and verified he had them. We could not believe how great the price was. Best yet was how quickly the service was completed. Reese helped us check out, and we were also very impressed with how professional and kind he was. 5 Stars, we will definitely recommend this place to family and friends, and would totally go back if we need service again.
