Professional. Friendly. Honest. Adept. I started taking my car to MSN a few years ago when I bought my 08 9-5. Aside from Ken Garff, MSN is the only Saab certified shop in town that I know of without travelling to the south end of the valley. Their work is top notch which should be expected since it is priced at a point that reflects their lack of competition at their caliber. Its about what I would expect to pay at a dealer. Its not just their great work that keeps me coming back though. These guys take care of their customers. I brought my car in for a checkup and oil service in preparation for a road trip through Tucson and New Mexico. There was no way that Mike could have known from that inspection that my throttle body was on its way out. I had seen symptoms leading up to this event; I ignored them. On the morning that I left my car threw a code and went into limp home mode. I went directly to the shop where they had 3 cars on their 3 lifts. Appointments generally are few days out for these guys but, knowing that I had already taken time off of work and needed to be on the road, they took my car in and got the work done in a few hours. They saved my butt and have earned a loyal customer for life.

They keep my car running. Usually costs more than I wish it did (AKA $0!) but less than I expect. Sometimes I wish they were a little quicker getting information back to me (If I drop off first thing in the morning usually dont hear from them until mid-afternoon), BUT then I have to remember that they almost always have me fixed up within one day, whereas others have taken 2-3 days to even get back to me with an estimate! Sometimes when you have it good you forget just how good you have it, so with that in mind I concede that Mike and family are about as good as it gets.

Ive been taking my Saab here for a few years now and Mike is absolutely awesome to work with. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and theyve always been able to figure out the problem when nobody else can. I recently took my Saab to a different shop simply because MSN is about an hour away from my home. Other shop was going to charge 40% more for the same repair and admitted theyre not really familiar with Saabs... I wont be taking it anywhere else. I feel better knowing my cars in good, experienced hands.

I will now ONLY take my BMW to these guys! I had a recent experience with a chop shop on a recent road trip who was entirely unable to figure out the problem and sent me out into the desert, charging me a ton, for doing absolutely NOTHING. The car had the same problem and I had to have it towed to SLC from Cedar City. These guys figured out the problem IMMEDIATELY and had answers for all my questions regarding this BMW. Not only did they fix the problem but the price was entirely fair.

In the middle of a 1,500 mile road trip, the temperature gauge failed on my 1999 (beloved) Saab. I called, they got me in right away, did the work and talked to my mechanic in Oregon to help guide the process. They were efficient, the price was fair, and I made it home without a hitch. I was so lucky to find their shop. Even my dog was happy about being in the waiting room. Thanks so much for the great service! J. de La Harpe

Great alternative to dealership. Mike Newbold and sons at MSN Automotive are Saab certified technicians who perform great service at cheaper prices than the dealership. They are personable and willing to take the time to explain what is wrong with the car. They havent let me down for the 2 years I have been going to them. They also will shuttle you to work if its nearby downtown.

Wow! Great group of people. I took a chance and asked them about a car which they had serviced years ago, before it ended up in Arizona, that I am thinking of buying from a dealer. They gave me as much information as they could, at no benefit to themselves. That is honesty! I appreciate the time they took to give me information!

Milke has been maintaining my Saabs since he was joint owner at Chick & Mikes in 2000. They were THE team at Ken Garrfs and were cutting edge. I have owned four Saabs, (2 purchased from Mike) and he has serviced them all in a manner expected from a dealership, without the high overhead shop rate. Extremely honest & precise.

Had some headlight trouble, and then a few days later had a belt break on me after I purchased a used Saab. Been a Saab fan for years, so to have a place to go to where theyre extremely friendly, and incredibly professional has been a godsend. These guys are worth every penny. So long as I have a Saab, Ill go no where else!

Dont go anywhere else for your SAAB along the Wasatch Front. These guys are fantastic!! Had my SAAB completed quicker and the communication was better than anywhere I have taken it. This is now the only place I will go.

Very expensive!! Way more than other auto repair shops. Mike does a great job but you need to decide if it is worth paying more ..... much much more!.
