Want high speed internet? To bad! You will have frequent outages, it will take them two weeks to get to you to fix your lines, and when they finally get there they will tell you nothing is wrong with them. I was a customer with them for over 5 years, and in those five years they have only demanded more money for the same service with diminishing quality. In Western North Carolina, Charter Communications currently offers 1$ a Gigabyte, but Shentel will sell you the same deal at about 5$ a Gigabyte. Do they have to do this? No, they dont. Also Ive experienced heavy throttling of my internet speeds since I started using their service five years ago. Good luck not going over you 500Gb data limit. It boggles my mind to think they believe they are doing a service to anyone.

3rd day of being throttled for no reason. took 5 minutes to open this dialog alone. worst internet company ive ever had the displeasure of being forced to buy due to no other ISPs in area. I have a friend who literally lives 2 miles away from their building and they wont let him have internet because they dont have enough bandwidth.... They would rather turn customers away than fix their equipment.... Long story short if you have any other choice.... take the other choice.

Terrible bandwidth caps, poor pricing structure considering those caps, inconsistent speeds, Cable television packages and pricing is the worst. Their bundles are a joke. Theyre always pushing the home phone crap when everyone has cell phones? Just a poe-dunk company cashing in on their monopoly of local cable infrastructure.
