I have had time warner for four years. I made a payment arrangement and the supervisor locked it in but, the next day my cable was off. I called and the woman was so rude. Then she put me through to Nicki who is the supervisor I then spoke with. She stated there was no documentation that I had spoke to a supervisor the day before. I then stated to pull the call because, I will not be made out a liar. I have Never been late!!! I told her how I have been a customer for four years and have paid on time. I just needed this one time that was it. She was rude and said no. I have been having problems with my cable box for over a month cutting on and off as well as my internet/phone. I have had three techs this month come out and replace my box and then it cuts off again and she basically told me it was not her problem. I was irate! I will never go through them again! $203 a month is what I pay for all three and I have not as many channels and also I am paying for four rooms but, only received two. What is that?! I switched to Direct TV and didnt have to pay anything for them to hook me up. It was amazing. My first bill will be next month for $70. I will never go back to time warner again!

Ive had TWC to several years. Aside from a large area maintenance related outage once or twice a year, my services have an up-time near 100%. I have never had to switch a box or modem. I wired my house myself and know how to check the pertinent signal readings and noise readings on my equipment. It isnt that hard to do a little investigation. Id imagine most people would realize that the crappy old wiring in their house is the issue. I did cable installs for TWC and can testify to the fact that problem are very very very rarely due to equipment. Side note - when a tech gets a route with 4 or 5 total rewire triple play jobs and another few 1 hour long jobs, dont whine cause they are late. The techs dont make their own schedules. Stuff comes up. Getting to a job where the customer claimed their house was completely wired and it wasnt turns the job TWC said was 1 hour into 3 hours. I chalk it up to the fact that most people are dumb and dont have a clue what is involved in doing cable installs. P.S get AT%T, get DirecTV, get North state, get Dish, use your cellular data. There are alternatives. Just stop whining.

If I was able to I wouldnt even give TWC 1 star for how poorly their customer service is, I work retail and have NEVER in my life had such a horrible customer service experience! I have never missed a payment, however during the holidays a payment definitely was missed and TWC completely cancelled my account. Mind you this is the FIRST missed payment and an arrangement was made to process this Saturday. I have now spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service, been hung up on and have paid $300 to these thieves to reinstate my internet. I dont have cable and I dont have a home phone! The 2nd to last rep before transferring me told me I needed to pay another $70 for the bill. Thankfully this last rep stopped that payment otherwise they would have gotten more money. I CANNOT wait for google fiber or any other internet company to come to my area so I can get rid of TWC & their poor customer service. Definitely not recommending my friends or family, Id rather get a hotspot from a cellular provider and deal with a data cap.

Terrible customer service. Terrible Internet. Terrible cable. Terrible everything. This company is horrendous when it comes to WiFi. I pay for 50MBps with the most expensive plan and heres what I get out of it. I get around 12MBps when I pay for 50, doesnt seem fair right? The bandwidth on this ISP is also terrible, if I get in one device while playing servers with 580 ping which is also ridiculous it will kick me off every server, Ive had to sell my computer because I havent gotten any wifi on and the ping is ridiculous. I tried calling the ISP local store and they said "Reset your router", thats not going to do anything but speed it up a tad. Then they will hang up fast as possible. It seems like they are scamming me by making me pay for 50MBps and receiving 7-12MBps. This company is a complete joke. The worst part about all of it is thats it the only service provider in my area, I may even have to move because of the joke Im paying for. Not good, TWC, NOT GOOD,

Went to the Burlington office to pick up a modem & there were only 4 or 5 people in front of me. had to sit and wait over 45 min while 2 people worked on 2 other peoples problems. There was no one to take payments or give out/receive equipment that were simple procedures!!! I thought it would be much better when spectrum took over Time Warner, but its no better if not worse!!! One man came out and wanted to take payments with credit cards but only cash/check customers were there. I even called corporate and it took 45 minutes to get anyone out there to help. All they did was cash payments which I had been there longer than most of them!!! Finally after 55 minutes did I ever get my number called!!! Im not a happy camper Spectrum!!! 8 People came in and left cause it was sooooooooooooooo long of a wait... Im not coming back and will be taking my parents (whom I take care of) business elsewhere... good day!

There is nothing good about this company. We constantly lose Internet connection in our apartment. When we call customer service to have them come out to fix it, they say that their earliest appointment is days away. My most recent experience is that I called on a Tuesday to have them fix it. They told me they would be out on Friday. I got a reminder call that they would be here on Sunday NOT Friday. When I called back they said that they never scheduled me for Friday. I said well then why would I take work off to be sure Im home when they come? Sunday between 9-10 was the only time they could come out. Well hello, most people are at church during that time. They said well we can come out the following Friday, which was their next available appointment. Ill be out of town. So needless to say, itll be over 3 weeks before internet service will be fixed. Very disappointed in this company. Stay away!

I was supposed to have my internet installed on Saturday, and the technician never showed up. I now have to wait till Wednesday until I can get internet and I work from home and need internet to do my job. The people who I talked to when trying to get this issue resolved over the phone were really nice, but they did not sound experienced. I called 5 times and got 4 different answers. By the way, if they put you on hold, ask them to check on you every 5-10 minutes. From my experience, I waited on hold for 3 hours listening to an automated system that was so freaking anoying; then somehow I got looped around to another representative and had to start over. Again the people were really nice and made you feel good saying that everything will be fine, but then the issue never was resolved and then you feel like you were lied to.
