We were staying in Gig Harbor for part of the summer. Didnt need our air conditioning because of the cooler weather. We were about a week away from heading back to Idaho where the temperatures have been in the high 90s. Asked Eagle T&A to repair my air conditioning system. Told them that my Suburban had rear air also. After picking up my car after repair the system just didnt seem to be performing up to par and the rear air wasnt even cool. When we were finally able to get back to Eagle, just a couple of days before we were leaving, I mentioned that the rear air wasnt even cooling they acted like they didnt even know there maybe was something that needed to be changed for the rear air portion of the system. We had no way to leave the car for repair before we left to Idaho. Once in Idaho, with a 95 degree day, the system couldnt even keep up. The car interior would only get down to about 80+ degrees. I got a can of refrigerant with a gauge and found the system was only charged about 1/3 of what it was supposed to be charge to. Scares me as to what else may not have been repaired properly.

Had to put 1 star because they wouldnt take zero. BE WARY OF THIS PLACE!! Went in with a brake problem,...knew i needed rotor and pads. The guy wanted 879.00 plus tax for both front rotors and pads, incl. Labor. Also started saying the battery was "leaking" and needed replacing...long story short, as i know I am getting bent-over,...i declined. Took it to Meineke on 6th ave, tacoma and they charged 575.09, including tax, and it was for both front rotors and pads, AS WELL AS BACK PADS, OIL CHANGE, and that was incl tax and labor. Also, there was nothing at all wrong with the battery. Go figure....over 900.00 for just the front or 575.00 for front, rear, and oil change (without trying to gouge for a battery) uuum,..i choose the second choice.... Jeez...maybe their tire prices are good,..but as a veteran on a fixed income,..sure didnt appreciate them trying to F#*k me. Nuff said.

Sometimes Eagle Tire provides great service, other times -- not so much. They often dont honor their own coupons on their web site - in my experience Ive always paid extra, unexpected charges. Most recently we scheduled a major service and after confirming the service and the price over the phone, the actual estimate was double the coupon price the next day AND they werent planning on doing half of the services we asked for that were listed as part of the standard service on the coupon! Very disappointing. Their excuse was "our sales guy does not understand coupons".

Sometimes pricey, always efficient. I love coming here, they know me and my husband by name. Ive been going here for years and have never been disappointed. They dont try to swindle you out of your cash. Its worth the little extra they charge for labor for the amazing work they do. Ive had services done with them and has question or a last issue and they tell me to bring it right in and dont charge for the additional inspection or work they have to do. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime. Thanks Eagle Tire!

Eagle Tire consistently exceeds expectations. Im a regular customer and they take care of me. My wife was getting ready to take a group of middle schoolers on a retreat when she started hearing a funny noise. I called Eagle, they said bring it right in. They took care of the problem - it was fairly minor - and had us back on the road in a short time, at no cost. Thats why we keep coming back.

My grandfather was a faithful customer here, and now I know why! My family is traveling through the area and needed a belt and a couple pulleys replaced as they had gone bad and I was afraid the belt would break mid-drive across the country. They were willing to squeeze us in and get it fixed quickly, and checked tire pressures and fluid levels to boot!

I cannot recommend Eagle Tire. My husband has found them to recommend unnecessary work. Their rates are higher than other local places. Recently they charged us for an ESTIMATE on work when we chose to go to another shop because their pricing was much higher. They did not tell us ahead of time that there would be charge if we didnt proceed either.

After my car miserably failed the emission tests, I took it to Eagle Tire and Automotive. They charged the normal $96 emission testing and inspection and did a 3 hour complete inspection, found the problems (of which there were many) only charged me $8 more, I passed in flying colors! Thank you Eagle.

Needed a ball joint replaced in a hub I had off the car already, guys had it done for a half hour of labor and that day before they closed. Oh, it was like 3:55 when I dropped it off too. They totally did right by me for a fair price and Ill totally do business with them again.

As far as my experience has gone this place isnt very good. I personally changed the oil in my brothers jeep and when he took it in the next day they told him he NEEDED an oil change... And the repair work is either done good or like trash, only go here if you have to
