If I could give them a star rating of zero I would. My battery completely died and we had to have it towed because it wouldnt even jump. I had the flu and my husband was training and couldnt come home. I told the man I spoke with all of this when my car arrived and he called. It was a simple battery that needed to be replaced. He told me he was going to "make me a deal", and it would only be $246 after taxes and labor and that the battery itself was going to cost $180 because it was a battery he had never seen before. I drive a 2012 Nissan rogue. Not a spaceship. My husband called after I did because he wanted to see why it would cost so much. He acted like I hadnt told him how much it was going to cost and asked Terry how much it would be and was told that he was going to "make him a deal" and that it would only be $160. So because I have a vagina and was sick and couldnt do anything about the situation he was going to charge me $86 more. This mans name was Terry and he tried to take advantage of me in a very weak moment. This man was one of the most dishonest, conniving and manipulative people I have ever met in my life. DO NOT USE THIS STORE.

First time using these guys. Went in for an oil change and only saw 2 options- a $34 package and a $54 package being promoted. Asked if the $34 was the cheapest deal they had for an oil change and was told yes. I later found out there is also a $24 basic oil change also that I wasnt told about. The package I paid for included a "free roadside assistance" deal, which when I asked about the details of how it worked, the grumpy guy at the counter replied "I dont know", shrugged his shoulders, and did nothing to answer my question. I also was told I needed a new air filter (along with a laundry list of other things they deemed were "wrong" with my car) which costed me $15, to which I found out later by the person who normally services my car, that my filter was fine and that they suckered me. In the end, I spent an overpriced $56 for an oil change and an air filter. I will NEVER go back to these guys! Not to mention, all 3 guys that were working at the time were unfriendly as well. These guys are lucky this review makes you choose at least one star, because they shouldnt have even gotten that.

I took in my VW to get the "check brake pad" light that was on. They took off my tires and did not find anything. They told me it was most likely because my left front axel needed to be changed. After they gave me a price I waited for them to give me my car back. It was too pricey, $300+ to get it changed at the time. I realized it was taking a lot longer than I expected. I finally asked if I was getting my car back and he said they were already fixing. There was no going back since they had already taken off my CV Boot. After I told them I didnt have the money for it at the moment I felt pressured in having to get that part changed. You cant just start working on someones vehicle with out asking . After all that the problem did not go away. I spent over $300 just to not have my car fixed. I do not recommend this place its a waste of money. On top of that I asked for a military discount to try and save a little money and he said it had already been applied. Which was a lie it was not on my recipet.

Needed to replace my broken CV axle shaft immediately and had no time to do it myself. Didnt know anyone here, asked around but no one could indicate a good mechanic. Brought the vehicle in to this shop, he said it would be $300 with labor, thought it was way too expensive but I was on a rush. I came in to pick it up he said he final price was $399, after a $40 military discount, and for one axle only. I was shocked, because the most expensive axle to be found is $70, and he said he bought it for $195, supposedly the best shaft according to him. I didnt know what to do so I paid anyways. Afterwards I looked it up for hours, found no shaft that costs $195. Went to Orelly and told the guys, they laughed at me, they had Never heard of such thing. Terry is evil, he said he used to be military himself. I will never forget this bad experience.

Brought in truck with brake issues. eventual diagnosis was a full replacement of rotors, pads, and calipers up front and a caliper service in the rear. OK... estimate was $850+. After standing there for a couple minutes thinking, instant 10% discount. After saying "am I crazy thinking thats a lot for calipers?" the mechanic called the supply shop (again) and knocked $55 off the price of each caliper. Ended up being just over $600. Spendy, yes. BUT did I shop around? No. Quality work? remains to be seen, but driving out of the shop my braking symptoms had been solved. Overall pleased, could have been cheaper and faster, but then again if I was going to complain about that Id just learn to do this crap myself. Overall satisfied but if I had had more time I would have shopped around for a better deal.

Its too bad these guys get such a bad rap on here. I usually only leave reviews when someone has wronged me. But after reading a few of these posts I do have to say my experience has been pretty good here. Its too bad about the negative reviews especially from girls my wife has been taken advantage of at an auto shop for the same reason. But from my personal experience these guys have been pretty good. Sure they are not a vehicle specific shop but none-the-less seemed pretty knowledgeable about our foreign and domestic cars. I have found the front desk man, Shawn I believe , to have a good personality fun to talk to and seems pretty honest. I will admit that we typically only take our cars here for service but I have had mechanical work done by them with a good experience and I will return in the future.

They do not honor online appointments at this location. The meineke website will let you book an appointment, but when you get there, the manager Terry will stare at you like youre stupid and say he doesnt take appointments. His location/shop is in fact set up to take appointments however, as he had time to show me his computer and how he sees appointments come up in the system but thinks ignoring them will nullify the appointment just because he doesnt want to bother with it. He accepts no responsibility for the confusion caused by this, and thinks that his customers should call instead of booking online even though there is no reason anybody would assume they need to call after scheduling online... Desperately in need of new management, or retraining. Very unprofessional and will not be returning.

VETERANS DAY disgrace. My husband is active duty Army and he was REFUSED a free oil change today. The guy at the desk said he had a whole bunch of people earlier this morning and he refused my husband. He wouldnt even look him in the eye. There were 3 guys in the shop standing around and there was an open slot available for his car. Then, as my husband was walking out an older gentleman wearing his Veteran ballcap walked in. My husband called in and said "You better take care of that man." and hung up. Hopefully they had the decency to honor an old vet. DO NOT GO THERE if you are someone who deserves to be honored.
