I took my 2002 chevy cavalier there after having another auto shop diagnose that the brakes needed to be replaced and quoted me at over $650 for the job. That seemed a bit high to me, so I called Midas and they said that theyd do it for $170 an axle. WOW. It just got better from there. I was late to my appointment and instead of being ignored until they got around to it, they put it in the shop right away and started work. A couple hours later, they were done and called me notifying me that they were finished. Due to more scheduling errors on my part, I was unable to pick it up that night and they locked it in the garage and I was able to pick it up no problem. The best part was actually getting the bill, oddly enough. No sticker shock! The price was right what they quoted me at! The staff was really friendly and helpful, and I am still very pleased with the service that I received. And not at any point through the process did they try to upsell me things that I dont need or services that I didnt care to get at that time. This was immensely appreciated, and I guarantee if my car needs work again, this is the place Ill go!

I couldnt agree more with Matts review below. I live close to this shop and have used it several times for everything from regular services, to more complicated engine issues. Every time they have been able to get me in quickly, and always done the work same-day and at a good price. One of the first times I took it in, they diagnosed a problem that would have been over $600 to fix -- however, they told me that given the year and model of my car, it should still be under warranty, and that if I took it to a dealer the repair would likely be free. I would have had no idea if they hadnt mentioned it, and would have paid them the $600. By letting me know, they cost themselves $600, but earned my respect and future business. I have since on multiple occasions gone in for something small, or taken the car back in if it didnt seem just right, and they have fixed it at no cost, again just to earn future business. Terrific service, always friendly, and extremely reasonable.

We had a totally different experience from the rest of the reviews. Last week we took our with Santa Fe there cause it was over heating. It took them over a day to figure out why it was overheating and they quoted us $1700 to $2200 to fix it. We thought that was overpriced (and quite frankly could not afford that) and we called the Hyundai dealership and told them what was going on with the car and they said it sounded like it was a different issue (which it was) then with what Midas was telling us. I’m so glad that we picked up our car and took to the Hyundai dealership because we ended up only paying $211. If anyone takes anything from this always get a 2nd or 3 opinions. I will never take my car there again.

I dropped off my vehicle there to get their Mid Week Special for $24.99 and also to check my breaks and a couple other things. They said they would call me in an hour and 15 minutes, I let them know I would be waiting close by. Two hours later no call and when I came back they just stated the oil change!! Two hours and 45 minutes later I pay $57 for and oil change and an over priced quote on my breaks!! I will go back to Mr. Kleen who is in the same business center as them, and get my oil changed for the same price and have my vehicle ready in 25 minutes and GET A FREE CAR WASH. Time is money and I just wasted both!!

Fast, Friendly and No Upsells! Matts review is so accurate. I was at the dealership and they diagnosed front and rear axle brake repair but I got a second opinion from the guys at Midas. Front axle was completely fine, they even did some minor things for free. Rear axle with pads, hardware and machining ended up being ~$230 but pads have a lifetime guarantee. Im definitely coming back here. Mike is the friendliest guy and so helpful. They were not the least bit irritated that I waited in the lobby for the service to finish and they have free WIFI!

Mechanics have a reputation of treating women like they are stupid and know nothing about cars. BUT that is not the case at Midas in Lynnwood WA. They have been great answering all of my questions and treating me like the educated person that I am. I really appreciate their honesty and dedication to making my car run well with scheduled maintenance. They are great about giving me the information I need to make good decisions about the care my car receives. Thank you guys! You are awesome!

Great customer service, they would never lie to you nor try to rip you off. They always tell you up front if your car truly needs something done, and if so, they tell you the estimate and if it is something really urgent or not. They dont over charge either. I will definetely recomend this place!
