Their internet is cheap and pretty okay if you get it at the right time. Internet always seems to cut out after midnight, which is unfortunate if you stay up past midnight at all. It goes from great to horrible instantly and buffers constantly, even with high grade equipment. Even after having asked to cancel services twice, they still werent cancelled and none of them could give us a direct price on it. Got signed up for it more than once through third party commissioners, including when we signed up for our energy company and through email when just asking about the prices. Customer service is awful with trying to push you into their service. Constantly asking me to upgrade my services, especially their cable services. I dont even have a tv!

I guess for normal use it is OK. But every Winter I get pauses and jitter. When calling for support all the Charter tech (who knows where they are) would say is "I can see your modem just fine from our side. We can send a tech at your cost to look at your internal network". It is not my internal network. I work from home as a server admin and really notice when it acts up. Moved back to my local telco provider again... Costs a little more, but speed is faster (especially up), it is a switched fiber connection, and when you call for support they are local.

I have just internet with them. Its works alright but I would recommend getting you own router and not using theirs. The worst thing so far has been the constant harassment to get the "bundle" of services. They send me letters that say "Important account Information" on them so Ill open them. They also like to call and rudly tell me why I am dumb for not getting a landline phone with them. Its so obnoxious that I would happily leave them if there was another competitor in the area but there really isnt.

I hate Charter more than Ive ever hated any other company. They provide terrible service that is drastically overpriced. You cant even pay your bill without an additional $5 fee unless you use their stupid automated system. The customer service I continuously receive is terrible. I even had a salesperson show up at a youth fundraiser that I was throwing and attempted to solicit everyone in the audience uninvited. A Youth Fundraiser!!! They have Zero respect for anyone or anything.

Honestly, Charter in Eau Claire is trash. You cant have more than one person on the internet or doing any sort of online gaming without massive lag. Back home we have TWC and we can have 6 ppl online gaming and searching the web. Its BS that Charter is the only thing available because i honestly think they just screw you over. Also had 4 months where we didnt have internet that we never got reimbursed for. I wouldnt recommend to anybody.

Its so hard to like Charter/Spectrum - Weve been promised a price for a year/two years so many times - then it just surprisingly changes whenever they seem to feel like changing our rate. $25 more/month doesnt necessarily break the bank, but its the fact that they dont conform to any good business practices because they clearly just dont have to. The lack of other options in this space is unfortunate.

Slow internet, overpriced, after a year of me paying $50 a month for just Internet I get a letter in the mail saying its going up to $65 a month. I called and tried to cancel and then they lowered it back to the regular price. Charter is a monopoly, a evil corporation, and a scam. Id rather buy Internet from Satan himself than line the pockets of the charter ceos.

Let me make this clear -- I am giving a 5-star review to the wonderful people working in the Charter office, not to the Charter corporation. The customer service they provide is always prompt, smart, friendly and accommodating. Thank you! Its sad and annoying that the money grubbers running the company dont share those values.

Cable box goes out on a regular basis. Programming routinely interrupted with eas testing...always at the same time!...and upgrades in systems. Customer service is horrible. Charter doesnt seem to care...and why should they...they have a monopoly on cable service. They can just keep hiking their rates. No competition!

If what I have is the fastest Internet theres something terribly wrong. Not to mention a $21.00 hike in monthly costs and repeated telemarketing calls. Im ready to pull the plug and just use the computers at the Library. Poor business practices!

The worst customer service on the planet. Numerous hangup calls and rude help desk people. The cable service is very expensive for the product offered, since they have a monopoly here, you are stuck using them. Find another service.

The rates go up significantly due to the lack of options for customers in this area and the coverage is awful. They toggle their service at night also so if you stay up past 8pm your wifi barely works.

Internet is not nearly as fast as they say it is. It buffers often. If you tell charter your internet is not as fast as should be they send someone out to your house to do nothing and charge you for it

Wifi hardly ever works. We have our Playstation hard wired and the Internet still stops working in the middle of a program. The customer service is horrible. And the price just keeps getting higher.

Hate your service. We pay 200.00 a month, and whenever the news is on we get crappy service. Tv cuts in and out, and about 4pm. We loose service every day. I wish I could select zero stars.

We had to return our TV box and it was simple enough. Just wish communications with charter overall was better.
