Very upset and disappointed. I took my vehical in to get a few things done, including a tire rotation. They replaced a few lug nuts that were stripped while doing the tire rotation. So i pay for the new lug nuts and go on my way. The next day my hubby goes to change the brakes to find the new lug nuts are a different shape and/or size, they are also stripped. I had to go buy new ones and take my car to ANOTHER shop to get the "new" lug nuts off. It cost me over $100 to fix their mistake! I call Mike at desert car and he tells me that if it was such a big issue i should have brought it in today (3 days after they had it, because they were closed the last 2 days) so we could look at it. 1. I go into work before they open. 2. I have errands to run on my lunch brake. 3. I SHOULDNT HAVE TO! oh and he proceeded to tell me he did me a favor because he didnt charge me to remove my old lug nuts. I thought they were great at first. They made accommodations for me to dropped of at work on Saturday. They also picked me up at the end of the day so i could get my car. He called to tell me things they noticed needed to be done (IE: brake pads and lug nuts). They were also fair in their pricing! I would have definitely went back. Dont ever blame your customer for something that is not their fault and you failed to mention!

So my husband takes our van here for an AC Tune up with a coupon for $19 for this service. He walks out with a $200 bill without even being told about any extra charges. Very dishonest and misleading advertisement. We have been to 3 other places the 10 years living here, including the car shop a mile away from Desert Car Care, and out of all those 3 places the most we have been charged was $80. The only reason we went to Desert Car Care was we wanted to try this new place out. We had a coupon and the reviews seemed great. Ya, worst experience ever. I understand the charge for freeon, I expected it, but we got this extra $95 charge and wasnt even told about it till the bill was ready to be paid. If we had known there was this hidden charge, my husband would have left and gone back to the other auto shop a mile away. He complained to a manager and he wouldnt do anything but give him a coupon for a free oil and wiper change. Well duh, do we really want to come back again!! We live right by you and will tell all our friends and family and neighbors about your dishonesty. Maybe the other locations are better an honest, but not this one.

Let me start by saying as a single woman/mother I LOVE this place! Matt, the owner & Mike, the GM are really great guys. They make it a point that you feel secure about the work that needs to be done and that theyre going to take care if you! I had to have my headlights (on VW Beetle its extremely difficult to get to it you cant do it yrsrlf, my brother is a car guy & he couldnt do it either, its very labor intensive) replaced, and my oil changed (again being a VW it costs more than 3xs yr average oil change). My bill was less than I expected AND they rotated my tires!! I wanted to get my breaks done but they said I still had some life left on them so I could wait a bit....honesty & integrity at a fair price....I guess thats just the way they roll!

Every time I brought my car to this repair shop, (which is quite a few times actually) Mike and his team were very professional. I know nothing about cars, so I have always been a bit reluctant when I had to bring my car to a repair shop, however Mike always took the time to explain everything to me and he never rushed me into doing repairs on my car that was not necessary. This is what I love the most about this shop, their friendliness (you always feel welcomed, as soon as you go through the door) and their professionalism. I would recommend this location to anybody, in fact this is what I have been doing and my friends have always been happy with their services.

Amazing management and crew that are always willing to lend a helping hand. I have been taking my car here for a couple years now and I have never been disappointed with their services. One vehicle that I had broke down completely and I took it to this shop to get it checked and the costs to repair it far exceeded what the car was worth. However, they went the extra mile and actually helped me sell it and get rid of it so to help purchase my next vehicle. I highly recommend Desert Car Care McQueen!

Guy at the front desk is a complete a** hole. I found a different shop that did the work $250 less then this shop. Came to pick up my car and they charged $40 for the diagnosis which they told me nothing about and I didnt sign anywhere stating that there was such a charge. The guy was full of himself telling me that Ill be back and I wont find cheaper. Will never do business here and will never recommend this place to anyone.

The people here are very friendly, knowledgeable, and really care about what they are doing. You can totally tell they are honest individuals as well as the company as a whole. They know my name when I come in and are willing to spend extra time to explain everything and anything regarding the services being done with my car. I recommend this place highly!

These guys are amazing. They fixed my brakes and were very honest and fair. Another shop tried ripping me off with unnecessary repairs and Mike and the guys here helped me and gave me a great deal! The customer service here is top notch and they do great work for fair prices. This is now my go to auto shop. I cant trust anywhere else!

Brought my car in for full service after 95k miles and was able to get everything done. Got new brakes, a tune-up with oil change and general vehicle maintenance. Friendly repair shop and excellent service! 100% satisfied! Would be happy to refer any of my friends! The only place for guaranteed auto repairs in Arizona!

Ive worked with a lot of mechanics in my life and Desert Care McQueen is by far my favorite. Theyre knowledgeable, down to earth and take good care of their customers. I have taken my car and my wifes car many times. I especially enjoy working with Mike and highly recommend to anyone else.

Absolutely horrible service. Incompetent techs with lazy unprofessional managers. Spent 3 hours waiting for them to do the 30 minute job of switching rims from one vehicle to another. 3 hours later and they put the rims back on the original vehicles. Wouldnt recommend my worst enemy.

I take all of my cars here (3) to be exact. Every time Mike has been fair and honest and they have done an excellent job. My 2000 lexus is still going because of their good work. It now has 225K miles but I am shooting for 300K! With Desert Car Care we will make it happen!
