My name is Dan. I run landscape maintenance crews for Agave Tree and Landscape, as well as Yard Maintenance Solutions. Usually its myself and a close friend doing all the repairs. This time, I came here due to time constraints. Its been a few days now and all the work I had performed is solid. The guys worked around my schedule, they gave me rides to and from location... and they worked with me on total cost. They even threw in batteries for the key remote to an alarm we didnt know the new maintenance truck even had. Work completed: Repaired back drum brakes as they were not functional. Fixed a transmission leak and replaced 2 leaking freeze plugs. I thought something might be up with the back brakes when I took her in. I saw for myself the leaking, bad components and that the back brakes were not functioning. These guys will handle all of our repair needs that we cant and/or dont have time to do. I recommend this shop to those that just want work done correctly at a fair price. I was very much at ease as there is a large degree of professionalism here. I dont know what happened before regarding the bad reviews, but obviously they have it corrected. And... they are a good shop. Thats rare!! Lets support the ones who are doing it right! We need more quality shops!

SEE UPDATE BELOW!!!! Alright guys, check the reviews and their dates. The current managers are Jayson and Luis. They, especially Jayson, is EXCELLENT!!!! I went in for my brakes and he explained and showed me on my truck every single thing that needed serviced, rebuilt(which they can do cause its cheaper than buying new) or replaced and WHY! These particular people are extremely nice and it is totally worth going to check the place out. They are knowledgeable and wont swindle you. UPDATE!!!!!! Ok I went in again today 3/22/14 almost exactly 6 months after having my brakes redone. I have been having a "lurching" or "skipping" feeling when I applied the brakes. I figured it was my rear brakes, because I had no other vibrations. I go there, its under new management, and they try and talk me into spending an extra $300 and saying my warranty only covers part of it. I finally got out of there with them warning me about dangerous bullcrap (after calling my mechanic cousin he figured they were just looking for money) I was able to get out having them re shave my rear drums, which were also done 6 months ago. Long story short, they have lost all trust, and my business. Avoid like the plague. Avoid the Chandler and Alma School Just Brakes as Jesus is there and WILL swindle you!

Horrible Customer Service - I took my truck in for front brakes on 2/7/2017 to this location. As they pulled my truck into the garage, the right front tire was punctured when it hit a corner of their equipment on their shop floor.. The assistant manager (Wyatt) said to me “the tire was leaking when we pulled it in” even though there was a puncture on the side of the tire. When I pointed out the fresh tire marks from my truck leading into the piece of equipment on the ground the mechanic said “we have vehicles all the time in here.” The photos show the puncture lining up with the piece of equipment and my tire marks too. They didn’t admit responsibility at all. When I asked if they could contact the manager and let him know what happened I was told “you can call him if you want.” I refused to call the manager (Carl) and told the assistant manager (Wyatt) to call him. After Wyatt hung up with Carl he told me they would give me a 25 percent discount on a new tire that I had to purchase from them. I refused to purchase a tire they damaged. I was shocked at the lowest level of customer service from this location.

Terrible experience with management at both the store and district levels at this location and main street location. After having a bad experience with main street location blowing a fuse on my vehicle I was assured that this location was much better, and the old location I took my vehicle to had been closed. Highly unprofessional store manager Pat quoted me to install brakes and then backed out with no explaination or apology. Incorrect and misleading information given to customers. Disctrict manager Carl admitted store manager Pat had given out bad info, but did not offer an apology or any type of resolution. Brakes Plus down the street gave me a great deal and I highly recommend using their services instead. Prepare for a bad experience if you go here.

I had "Lifetime" brakepads put on a few years ago. It messed up my rotors so badly that the truck shook almost uncontrollably when braking. My wife was too afraid to even drive it. I had to junk the "Lifetime" pads and redo the braking system somewhere else. As I mentioned, that happened a few years ago and recently I went back to just get an oil change. They came back telling me that some part of the truck was badly leaking and needed to be replaced immediately. The problem is that the concrete driveway where I park my truck is as clean as a whistle, before and after. There are just too many auto repair shops that treat people well, I am not going back here.

Do not go here unless you want to be swindled! The boss Kelly is very stern and mean, they act like all they care about is money and not the safety of your vehicle. I went in for their $99.88 brake special and left. They called me telling me I needed $380 worth of work. I said I was going to think about it and ask around before I spent that kind of money. I return to the shop for my car only to find out they already performed half the work without my approval or any signature and it would prove useless to go anywhere else. I wound up arguing and spent $330 but left very unhappily knowing that I just got ripped off and there was nothing I could do about it.

Went in once for front brakes. Seemed to go okay. However a few weeks later they started making noise. Went back in to see what was wrong and the management had already changed hands. The new guy said nothing was wrong with my front brakes, but that i needed back brakes now. I replaced those and it still was making a terrible sound. I took it elsewhere and they said that the front replacement was done incorrectly and now I would not only need ANOTHER set of new brakes, but new rotors as well. Besides that, it took HOURS to fix my back brakes, far longer than it was told to me that it should take. Free advice: go elsewhere.

Horrible customer service. Went there for the $99 brake special and they tried to tell me I needed $500 worth of work done. I appreciated their recommendation for the added repair but when I told them to just install the break pads for 99 dollars, the manager got very nasty and rude. He finally refused my business and insulted me. He yelled out to his technician to put the truck back together. I left feeling so upset that I decided to read reviews of the business. It looks like Im not the only one that they pulled this stunt on. The manager will SWINDLE you!
