(Con Artist shop, way overpriced, save yourself from these crooks) I like AAA, and Ive never had an issue with their services. So, I took my vehicle in for a diagnostic test (prepping for emissions), I had a check engine on longer than 3 months. Next, they come back with a diagnosis, and say I need a new thermostat. I denied their services and repairs for $800. I declined their services since its not reasonable. I drove the vehicle home and parked it overnight. Turn my vehicle on the next morning to warm up the heater, and note that my temperature gauge is not reading. I spoke to the manager Dave Luethy about my situation, and he failed to acknowledge the fact that my vehicle was fine when I dropped it off. Now, I cant drive my vehicle. Get Help. anywhere but this shop. Outrages prices, and will sell you parts you dont need. CONS!

Its not often I write a negative review BEFORE I actually get screwed. I spoke with a TIM on the phone, who hung up on me the first time because after being on hold for 11 mins I didnt pickup fast enough. So I called back, identified myself as a Premier AAA member for discount purposes. Explained I had a AAA tow coming and needed ONLY the front left brake repaired because it was broken. I only need 4 basic parts, disc, caliper and 2 pads. I asked for a general price but I only could afford the ONE side. He snaps 600 bux!. I said for ONE SIDE?! If that is true then a FRONT ONLY brake job with full replacement parts is obviously more. NOT ONE place I called was more than that for BOTH sides, including the listed parts replaced, both sides.

Like another reviewer, I will preface this by saying that they are good at towing and roadside service. Beyond that, I dont know what to say. Well, yes, I do know what to say. I would not have "repairs" done at this shop. They quoted about $6,600.00 to have three catalytic converters replaced among other items. Fortunately, we had the vehicle towed to another shop. The problem was an issue with the timing belt, and we had the car repaired for almost 75% less than the AAA quote. Unfortunately, Im unable to recommend them for any auto repair, and my recommendation is that you look elsewhere.

I love AAA for their emergency road service. Ive been a gold or premier member for 20+ years. But if you need to be towed to a garage, look elsewhere. Prices are far higher than anywhere else because youre a captive audience. Quality of the repair is passable at best. Customer service is a joke, when they cant answer the simplest questions. (Is the car safe to drive? What am I being charged for?) And good luck getting somebody on the phone.

Tim Hansen has been caring for my Jeep for several years. Since using AAA Peoria I have had no problems with my car. The service I receive is always fast, complete and correct. I wish all service providers were as professional, courteous and helpful. And all that I receive from AAA Peoria is at a low cost. Thank you AAA Peoria.

Ive been taking my 2006 Acura MDX here for a few years. Yesterday they replaced my front CV axles. They did an outstanding job and were less expensive then the Acura dealer. Highly recommend them.
