By a twist of luck, I found this auto repair and service shop at Paradise Valley Mall, located on the West Side of the Mall next to the Chevron Car Wash, across the street from REI and Target. They serve Paradise Valley, Northeast Phoenix and Scottsdale. This business is also open on Saturdays from 9-4pm in addition to Monday thru Friday 8am-6pm. They saved me $2000 on my older automobiles transmission by taking the time to find out what was wrong with it and fixing it for a very reasonable price instead of just replacing it. The owner, Lyle, is a former GM troubleshooter from Ohio. He really cares about his work and his customers, and so does the shop manager Darren. It is very gratifying and reassuring to find an honest and competent auto repair shop with great employees who are personable and know their stuff. An important part of business success and customer satisfaction is the ability to develop good communication and a positive ongoing relationship with a customer. These guys are excellent with that. I just moved to the Phoenix area and will be using this shop as my auto mechanic and service shop. Ive recommended them to several friends and neighbors. Theyre the best! Check them out.

Weve been using Honest 1 for about a year now for our three vehicles, two Toyotas and a Cadillac. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They fix whats broken at a reasonable cost. Free ride home locally. Even used the free towing once. You pay, but a check for the full amount comes in the mail. Have never had a bad experience with these folks. They also do a lot to help Veterans and the community as well as being Ecologically oriented. I recommend them highly.

I went it for an oil change and was told I had 15% left on my brake pads. I declined the work and took it to another mechanic who checks my pads and said I have about 60% of my pads left and wouldnt change my pads. There were some other repairs that were not needed as well. I understand they are trying to up sell their customers but it is a bit contradicting with their name. Be cautious.

I came here when I found a nail in my tire. Sadly, it had to be replaced. However, they did not have my size on location. They did have it in their warehouse, but it would be three hours before it would be delivered. Knowing I was on a time table, rather than me be unhappy, they recommended me to another business entirely, just to ensure my satisfaction. Fantastic customer service!

If you like easy access, excellent customer interaction, and results on your repair, consider Honest-1. My situation: car wouldnt start. Turned out it was just a spent battery. Honest-1 took care of it, no problem. Plus, if you like popcorn, after you pick up your car, youll find a packet of microwave popcorn resting on the passenger seat. Thats what happened to me.

They fixed a flat for me that another "shop" told me wasnt able to be fixed (for various nonsensical reasons). The other "shop" told me I would have to purchase a whole new tire, would have cost me a fortune! Instead I went to the guys at Honest-1 and 22 dollars later I was on my way! They have won me over and I will be going here FIRST from now on!

Took my suv in for a oil change, whoever did the oil change didnt fasten the radiator cap. Suv overheated, called them,told them, they added antifreeze. 3 days later I overheated on the freeway, :( no compensation... so now I have to replace the whole radiator. ..

Be careful with the word "HONEST"! A poor diagnosis at this place, cost me $500 bucks! They tried a repair, when a replacement would have been more logical and HONEST! Now Im back to square one. Now I need to REPLACE MANY PARTS!
