Last week I had the unfortunate experience of needing service because the car would not come out of park. While I did everything from checking fuses to the owners manual for a release switch location, and nothing was working, I called AAA for a tow from Mesa to Scottsdale CARLIFE because I wanted the car to go to people I TRUST. I called and spoke to Elsie explaining what happened and that my car was on the way. After they checked it out, keep in mind working it in because it was a roadside failure, they promptly called and explained what the problem was, how much it would be to repair it, and they could get it done by close of business that day! I knew there was a reason I liked these folks!! Honest, efficient, accurate and fair. Then I threw in the curveball. "Could you also change the oil and rotate the tires being Im only 1150 miles from that service?", We sure can! That was exactly what I wanted and needed to hear. In a world of negativity, I CAN is rare. Thank you Elsie and the CARLIFE team for keeping me safe and on the road. Well done!

I am so happy we have found Carlife- an honest mechanic is such a rare find! Not only do I trust them, they provide amazing customer service and the owner has even given me a ride more than once when I was stuck while our car was being repaired! They are the only place in the Valley I will take my car, and I recommend them to everyone I know. Added bonus- a quiet, clean waiting room with wifi where I can get work done while I wait. I really cant imagine ever going anywhere else. Edited to add: Was just looking at the other reviews- when a company has a vast majority of positive reviews I really think you have to take the few negative ones with a grain of salt (especially since one appears to be from a disgruntled terminated employee!). Companies are made up of humans, who occasionally make mistakes, but the difference here is that I have no doubt that this company would work with me to address any concern or complaint I had. Fortunately, Ive never had one.

The quality of service I have received at Carlife Scottsdale has been consistently excellent. I have taken my Jeep Liberty there for maintenance and for any extraordinary issues (my a/c compressor had to be replaced today) and each time I was very pleased with the service. The pricing is very reasonable, they offer shuttle service and the waiting area is very comfortable. Elsie, the store manager worked with me on the a/c compressor issue as it was an unexpected expense. She agreed to take a reduced amount today and let make payments on the balance. I really appreciate her kindness as well as the excellent service I have consistently received at this location. I would recommend Carlife Scottsdale to anyone who is looking for a clean, well run, car repair shop that consistently offers excellent service.

Ive dealt with a number of repair shops that can be shady in the services they say you need, pushy on the sales, or always trying to up-sell you, or just flat out incompetent in their work *cough Brakemasters cough*. Can say that this particular shop I didnt have to deal with any of that. Only con I have for them is that they are certainly not the cheapest option. However, the quality of service and their work is why you pay more than average for a repair. I am fairly knowledgeable with cars and perform most of my own repairs but simply put some repairs need tools/expertise I dont have. These guys were concise, polite, efficient, and helpful. Literally I have recommended my mother to go there and get work done when I am not available.

I had to take my vehicle in for an overhaul of the A/C system, mid summer with 110+ temps (so it was a semi emergency). Elsie and her team took care of everything from start to finish with class and incredible service. They made sure I got into work and picked up my car from my office and then delivered it to me when it was done. All of this in time for me to get home for dinner. Something that was stressful and disruptive in my life ended up being a fairly painless process and came out less expensive than I anticipated. Elsie took a crappy situation and made it come out "Roses"! I would encourage anyone who needs help from an oil change to an engine overhaul to seek out the professionals at CarLife! Thanks again :)

This is a very clean shop with respectable people working there. That being said, their rates are on the high side and the shop is not fully equipped, as they have no exhaust gas analyzer or dyno for emissions repair. They also are the type of place that can only handle purely OEM repair work. In my case, I brought my vehicle in requesting a replacement catalytic converter, but asked them to check the EGR as well. A $120 diagnostic fee later had me spending another $315 on the EGR. Retested emissions actually got worse. I had Scottsdale Muffler replace the catalytic converter and passed with flying colors. Update: Upon request, Carlife refunded the diagnostic fee.

The staff here is so friendly and professional. Elsie, the desk receptionist, loaned her personal car to a long-time customer as a rental and it was no big deal! Then when she told me how much my car was going to cost, I didnt have all of the money with me. Rather than make me leave with an unsafe car, she allowed the work to be done, and for me to come back to pay after. She didnt have to do that for me, I couldve easily not come back. I would highly recommend anyone to take their car here if they want honest, excellent work done! A year later, had my battery replaced and Im still blown away at their excellent customer service and car services as well!

I have been in search of a honest and reputable auto repair shop and I finally found one AND its in a great location. I have brought my car in on a few occasions and feel confident with the diagnosis and repair recommendations. The ladies at the front desk are all so friendly, patient and professional. The shop goes above and beyond! Recently, I had visitors in town and when we came out of breakfast my car wouldnt start. Without hesitation, Eddie offered to come take a look. He diagnosed the problem, had me into the shop and back on the road before AAA even arrived. Thank you for making car repairs less daunting.

I first heard about this place from my cousin. I went in with her when she got her car serviced and they were so helpful with her and explained everything they doing with her car so well that I decided to bring my car here and they were so helpful with my car, explaining what was wrong with my car and the best solution to get it fixed, whether it was now or later in the future. They even went as far as to speak with my dad, because he lives out of state, and tell him what was going on with my car. Thank you so much CarLife for being so helpful and making my car run better than it has in a while!
