I so wish that I would have read the reviews before switching to this horrible and I do mean horrible company. I have ran back to Frontier for service who purchased from Verizon. Let me list the highlights of my disappointment. The technician that came out to install my service and I use that term loosely was clueless and smelled. He also had to borrow my laptop to install service. He ended up having to call back to the home office because he could not get it to work. When he was finished I always like to test to make sure that everything is working. He was rushing me as if he was being fined per second to make sure everything worked. He was never able to get my Amazon Fire Stick to connect to the internet and then had the nerve to told me that it would eventually pop up. To add insult to injury he stole and yes, when you remove an item from a customers house without their permission that falls under the category of stealing. My Genie Remote control from Verizon. I noticed it was missing right after he left. I did text him, and nicely say that I believe that he picked it up by accident could he please return and he just ignored me. Confirming that yes, you did take it. I called Mediacom to complain about the Internet not working, and he had the nerve to call me and ask what was wrong with me. I have wasted countless time, trying to get the internet to work properly, and calls that were supposed to be returned from the supervisor in the area never occurred. I went to the office today to return my equipment, and cancel service. I have to wait 6-8 weeks to get my $90.32 cents that I spent up front. Which is unbelievable. I did not expect to receive it right away but I did expect the return of my money within a 1-2 week period. Once again, they are horrible and do yourself a favor and run away from them as fast as possible if they attempt to earn your patronage.

Never in my life have I hated something more than this provider. I have problems with it every day, and just recently it has been them not registering my DNS server. Almost every month it goes out for longer than an hour (every day it goes out for close to five minutes) and you pay a ridiculous amount of money for absolute trash. The only reason we pay for it is because its the only service where we live so its either we live like the freaking pilgrims or have the most mediocre internet yet still have access to what should be a basic amenity. Ironically, just as I was writing this my wifi shut off once again. This company has to be the most awful thing ever, its made me hate everything about it, even the innocent people who have no choice but to work for it. If theres one thing I look forward to about the apocalypse, it is that this scum will be wiped off the planet.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Service!!! First off they LIE To get you into a contract with them by promising discount "Switch N Sav" by faxing them your previous bill they claim to offer a $20 discount off internet for one year. Got a bill that did not reclect the change to the bill so of course we were on the phone FOREVER fighting with them even with the notes i took and people i spoke to written down, they refuse to complement with their offer stating my mom (Senior citizen) that they had promised in order for her to switch providers. Wish i had read the reviews I would have definitely made a differnt choice for sure. SHAME on you MEDIACOM You SUCK!!!!!!

ARRIS MODEM OUTAGE. Its been 7 days and internet still down. Apparently there has been an update of Mediacoms service and none of the customer owned Arris modem/routers will work on their system. I dont know if this is temporary, however, I do know they are now getting a massive amount of customers who are paying for their modems now, to avoid buying another customer owned modem that might just not work tomorrow. Their connectivity and speeds are wonderful, however having to pay $7.50 a month for a substandard modem, just isnt a viable solution for me. If their engineers resolve the issue, I will change this to 5 stars.

Worst company ever! You rescheduled two install appointments without telling me or my work. Your tech spent over three hours installing internet. He was trying to sell personal internet to us the whole time which we did not need! He was there to do one job which was to install business internet. My work never asked for you to disconnect my personal internet. Your tech left mud throughout our home and disconnected our personal internet for no reason! He said he couldnt reconnect it and was just following orders. Sure!! I am appalled...I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone!

This is the UTMOST WORSE Company EVER.....! Never have I had SO MANY PROBLEMS TV pictures or sound out , Pictures "Jumbled up Messages about "Interruptions"... No dial tone on my phone or they cant hear me.... Internet slow...I want to "Chuck " this company... They want you to pay $ 100.00 or so for this LOUSY SERVICE.... They CUT you off if you dont pay in time..! HOW DARE THEY I have a CONTRACT but under these circumstances It couldnt hold up! They have been to my house already about 10 times! Plus they keep you on hold about 10-15 min when you call in!

I am so sorry I left Verizon for MediaCrap!!!! I have had nothing but problems since the horror of an installation that took seven hours. I have had several techs out to fix different problems but I still have more. Some of the stations need to have the volume adjusted individually. When the commercials come on be ready to mute!!! I was told the station broadcsats that way....right! The second box in the master bedroom is even worse! I will be cancelling before the 90 day trial is up and going back to Verizon. They are more expensive but everything works!!!!!

This has to be the worst most unreliable internet service in the country. We live in Valley Center, and I kid you not. This service goes down at least once a month. Typically it takes them about a week to fix it. The have us by the balls though because there are no other cable internet services in our town. We are stuck with this absolutely horrible service. I would switch to ANYTHING if I could. So frustrating. Also their customer service sucks. I hope their is a special place in hell for them.

Its going on three weeks, two filed complaints, and three phone call attempts and I still havent heard back from a supervisor or manager to resolve the workmanship issues that resulted from an unprofessional WiFi hook-up. My house is pre-wired, but regardless, the technician drilled holes through my stucco and interior wall and left the cable wire laid out across my side yard causing a trip hazard. Now I have to take time off from work to make a personal visit to the office. Worst customer service ever!

DONT DO IT!! Its the worst contract to get locked into. Every movie stalls starts over (maybe) lots of interruptions. I used to love tv but now its just annoying. Also the regular stations I dont get. We have had them out to check things out they say thats old equipment and I should have new working "box" well that didnt work either. Wifi is now not working on an IPhone TRUST ME- STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY
