live off of 32 road in Mesa AZ just had this service installed in our house, now the service we had before was able to supply internet to more than one computer in the house ,and it was all working and hooked up. Then when charter came there only able to supply Internet 21 computer in the houseand you got to buy more equipment to supply Internet to any other computer in the house so well the head of the household gets to sit there and play games and not put up any ads for their business of making money I dont get to do that because I dont have internet on my computer which was working and hooked up before the technician came what a technician they have I guess only half as good in my opinion you pay for service and you get nothing really so had three computers in the household hooked up to Internet only one is supplied now so the technician didnt do the job correctly Im not going to call customer service cuz Im so upset I dont want to even suggest you going to the earphones I have what is wrong with people these days do they not want to do their jobs and get things hooked up correctly anyway I would suggest somebody else because their equipment is inferior and cannot handle the capacity of a household if you live in a one bedroom apartment perhaps thats where they belong but in a house no their equipment is inferior once again and their technicians only do half the job. sincerely very very very upset man who needs internet to run a business and its costing me money every time and every day there is no internet to my computer which was working in the old service but is not working now or even hooked up thanks chargerfor not doing their job internet was working before you came now its not working thank you alot jerks

Oh my gosh, felt so good to cancel my cable tv service today...500 channels of nothing on and charter keeps adding more and more fees..when they went digital it did nothing for me except add more and more fees and they said since all t.v.s now require boxes since they went digital (btw I already had full HD digital T.V.) they wouldnt charge me any fees for the digital boxes required for a full 12 months. This did not happen, 1 box free, 1 box half price, 1 box full price and then of course the 12 bucks for the DVR..Whoot, whoot, raise the roof..they just made it worth my while to cancel the service...going to be saving 1200 a year! there are plenty of things to stream onto your TV with the Rokoo, apple TV and free local tv with antenas...Really felt good to get rid of all the extra taxes Fcc, Broadcast surcharge, sales tax...and yes, more importantly not having to talk to the digital lady as much. I am sure I will still have to call cuz my internet speed seems to always slow down and be spotty. If I find something cheaper and better...I wouldnt hesitate to cancel the internet as well! Constantly raising fees (no loyalty to their long time customers), if the cable tv were reasonable like when I started at $30 bucks a month I probably wouldnt have cancelled but 3years later we are at $100 a month with no added services...so not worth it! Oh ya and the ladies in the charter office in Grand Junction..so rude!

While I was a customer, the service was mediocre at best. I had frequent service interruption and had a technician come look at things a few times, but it was never really resolved, so I put up with it until I finally canceled. When I moved out of state, I went to the office in person to cancel and dropped off the cable modem. About a week later, I was notified that I still needed to return the cable modem (which I had already returned). I told them I had already returned all of the equipment, so they opened up a ticket to "look into it." A week after that, I was notified that it was still missing and I either had to return it (which I already had) or pay for it, otherwise they would send me to collections. Now if I try to take money not owed to me by threatening to ding your credit, its call extortion, but since theyre a giant media company, its called "business as usual." Bottom line: Spectrum/Charter is a terrible provider, they offer a mediocre service, and theyll charge you, the customer, when they lose their own equipment. Do whatever you can not to get involved with them.

Awful company. Avoid at any cost. They raised my price after telling me I was locked in. They call three to four times a month to offer me phone service and television that I dont need. I tell them every time to take me off the list and they say ok. They use multiple phone numbers so when I block one, they can still get through. Last night they completely cut off my internet, remotely. They wouldnt let me cancel until today. At least 3 people asked me three different times why I am cancelling. They cut me off for using a VPN. I spent almost an hour troubleshooting my loss of Internet before spectrum told me they cut me off. Just go somewhere else. Its not worth it. I repeat, it is not worth it. This company will take advantage of you with every opportunity they get. Dont give them an opportunity. Its your money, be wise with it.

What an awful company! There needs to be laws set up for these kind of rip off companies. Although they promote things like $44.99/month for 12 months of internet at 60 Mbps -- they actually mean that "well put a discount of $20 off the normal price, but if the price goes up than so will your price regardless" In addition to that I only have internet. They hold the monopoly on internet at my place because no one else has service. I pay almost $70/month for JUST internet! I can get it cheaper if I bundle! No need for TV nor home phone (no one does these days). Also do NOT be late on your bill. I was and they charge $8.50 for a late charge. Customer service is awful too. I have never been more frustrated with a utility company in my life! I am looking forward to the day I can cancel and go with a decent company.

Dear Charter internet..... I would like to thank you for the realization that the world is not perfect, I totally understand that when you choose to raise my bill by $10 a month you probably tired to contact me but seen as we use the same internet you probably couldnt send that email. No no dont worry that when your service (supper crappy and spotty service) is down and I cant work it reminds me that ramen noodles is great 5 days a week. I love waiting in all day for your service people, and the people who answer your phones are always so knowledgeable, no I never knew there was a reset button on my modem, I never thought to unplug and plug back in. Last thing when you tell people your charging $75 a month for fast internet is it not customary for it to be fast ? Thanks your ever devoted customer !

Awful. I own a small business, and a recent Charter internet outage prevented our direct deposits from being processed properly. We had to overnight checks and work with our rightfully angry employees. After over an hour on hold with Charter and giving them all our account details and everything, they offered us $3 off our bill. $3. Not worth the time we spent on hold, let alone any of the other headaches and expense they caused. In a small town, Im not sure there are too many equivalent options, but just know what your getting into with these guys. They drop the ball and allow their customers to clean up their mess - even business class.
