I dont even know where to begin. The prices for internet service are decent, but their service is terrible. Internet is slow, it goes down very often, and the phone service isnt reliable. I complained about slow speeds and a phone line that wasnt working and nobody bothered to come have a look, and if they had, I probably would have gotten charged for a technician to have a look at their faulty lines. This company is a monopoly in a lot of the area that they service, and they know this. They make sure to give you the most fees they can possibly take out of you. Activation fees, modem lending fees, modem replacement fees, technical help fees, and I was even charged a $100 fee to change my WiFi password. I would have changed it myself in a matter of seconds, but they refuse to give you access to the router you are paying an $8 fee on. Of course, after I finish writing this review, I will continue using PMT because its the only internet that reaches my rural home, but I understand that most PMT customers dont bother to do a review because they cant switch internet companies anyway. I cant tell you to stay away if this is the only company reaches you, but I can tell you to be prepared to have a fee for everything. I wouldnt be surprised if they sent me a bill with a fee for writing this review on their internet.

My family has been with PMT for 10-15 years. We moved 7 miles out of town (in August of 2009) and we were officially one mile from fast speed internet and tv services. I was disappointed with PMT when I asked if we could do a contract for fast speed internet service in 2012. They told me no because it was to expensive to add fiber optics for the amount of customers at my location. It was simply all about the cost. I was still a customers thru December 2015 without any upgrades available. As a side note its cheaper with PMT to stay with the bundle even if you only needed 2 services. Also watch out for the wireless router charge. We paid the $5 a month rental fee for over 5 years on a wireless router thats value is $60 with no expected date for ownership. That is over 5x its value.

internet service is very poor, some times you have it, some times you dont. Some of the time when you have it the service will have to stop to catch up when watching Netflix and we have one of their largest bandwidth options. The people you deal with at PMT are very nice and on the ball. Where we live, PMT is the only internet option available or I would never keep using the service.

woke up this morning with no television service. My sister contacted customer service and spoke to the technician who tried everything he knew to get us to and running over the phone...no results. He offered to come to the house ON A SUNDAY!!! To resolve the problem. He was here within the hour and had the problem resolved in minutes. Thank you to Jeff Broadhead...a real asset to PMT.
