Liars!!! I asked to transfer my service to my new house, they switched me to Spectrum. First lie, but No big deal. I was told my bill would actually go down. Lie #2 my bill went down but so did my channel line-up. (I didnt find out till later in the story) Lie #3, I asked for an install with no exposed wiring. The installer cut three holes in my livingroom wall from the floor at 2, 7, and 9 looking for the wire, so now I have wire coming out of the wall at 9 feet going back in the wall at 7 feet and coming out of the wall at two feet connecting to the box. So much for no exposed wires. Oh and I was promised that damage control would come out and patch the holes in the wall within a week. That was like 2 months ago. The installer of this fine handiwork left before making sure the tv in the bedrooms worked , the internet worked, or the telephone worked. Because, he had to go home to get "his babys mama". Long story there but he just got out of jail for domestic abuse. And he actually admitted that. Customer service said they would come out and finish the install for only a $35 upcharge. Negative. They came out and ended up costing about $150 for them to finish the install. Another lie, customer service said Id be credited back that installation fee. Adjustment on the bill, $20. And the most shocking thing of all, when I asked customer service or even a manager what the problem is they said that I was lied to by the previous customer service rep. Actually admitted that I was lied to. And how did they make any of that right? They dont. I dont care how much DirecTV, Verizon, Dish Network, or Comcast, costs, I will be seeking out their services.

Bright House/Spectrum SO displeased. Before i even recieved the service. The girl that signed me up was lovely and helpful. I set my appt for installation, confirmed the appt when called. Waited for two and a half hours of no one showing up, called to ask what was up and if anyone was coming at all and the guy says "ohhh man that sucks, they just skipped right past you". No sorry there must have been a mix up, no would you like to reschedule, just sighs similar to the boss on office space asking for work resports. I had to ask to reschedule, the man said his computer wouldnt let him reschedule but ye would be happy to cancel my account and start over. NO. I do not want to start over. I do not want to have to share my information again. I asked to be transfered to someone that could reschedule me. I was put on hold for 2 minutes, same guy comes back and xan miraculously reschedule me now. But telling me i have to wait two more day for their mistake. And also making me miss a day of work. Skipping forward.... The installation guy that did come, on time also, was very nice and helpful. Everything worked perfectly fine. Today is the day after, and it has stopped working. What the crap man. I call customer service. After 15 minutes of plugging and unplugging cords and reboots i am told i will need to make another appt for someone to come and fix it. No openings until sunday morning. Tell me, how is it fair that i am expected to pay for a month of service that i dont get to use for a quarter of that time? Consistently being let down by this company. VERY close to considering canceling.

Bright house for my area, Brandon Florida, was absolutely terrible from the start. Our initial cable and internet set up was subcontracted out to some new tech guy at a different company who showed up late and then "forgot" to install the actual cable box. He just left without installing the cable box! We then had have him come back late at night which was a huge inconvenience. Then of course they installed the wrong product and had to come out again. Finally we get phone service and they send us the number, start billing us, but wait no service. So we call to get a tech to come out, customer service calls while I am on the phone "sorry we missed you." No one shows up at our house so I call customer service. The customer service representative says, "I am sorry, we have a policy that we reserve the right to cancel if you dont answer our call" We had confirmed previously with the automated call and were waiting at the house. This company in this area has screwed up consistently. I imagine that every area is run by a different set of folks, in years past we had no issue but Brandon brighthouse is terrible. Too bad its only these clowns and Verizon.

1 star, they got that because the people who work at the counters are mostly nice. Otherwise, this deserves 0 stars. Long lines. No areas to place the equipment you carry in while waiting on the lines, but my biggest issue is really with Spectrum as a whole, they have increased prices and reduced speeds, they have many times when the internet goes down or speeds are at 10 and your paying for 200. Theyre answer, its because youre not using an Ethernet connection. Find, how many people nowadays use anything but wifi, and second, although, I have a device that is connected directly, that device also, often times, registers below 20. They used to be Bright House they werent great then either, but at least they didnt hike up the prices by $20 and decrease their speeds, even more.

This company doesnt even deserve 1 star. Internet service leaves a lot to be desired and customer service is pathetic. I changed cable providers a month and a half ago and am still waiting for my refund. Ive called a few times and have been told the refund is in the mail. Its been a week and a half and it still hasnt been received. You couldnt pay me to go back to this company. If your looking for poor customer service and cable and Internet that keep going down, this company is for you. I went with Frontier and they were able to give me cable in a room that spectrum said wasnt possible. Changing carriers was a win, win for me. Now if I could only get my refund !!! called to have phone and cable services added to Pedro Mendes account , which has the internet already. They said they would be out yesterday between 12 and 2 pm. no one showed up or called. called them back to see what the problem was they said they would be there 3 to 5 pm.., again no one showed up or called back! Called again this morning and they said 12 to 2 pm they would be there. guess what??? AGAIN NO SHOW!! ...OR A CALL !! I guess SPECTRUM means NO EXPECTATIONS ON SERVICE! This is the first time ever this Company since they took over Bright House, is not looking very good. Come back Bright House!

Spectrum is awful. They disconnect me when I switched bank cards. Called three numbers to pay, they would not take my payment. Nobody could tell me if Im under contract, just to find out no customers are. Go into the store, they take two months payment and tell me my price is now 65.00 and J need a new modem with spectrum. I cancel service and they have to have my old modem to issue my months refund in a check that takes three weeks. They need the modem, even though its useless. Stay far away.
