I signed up for an internet package that was supposed to be twice as fast as it was with our other provider. They charged me up front and installation was scheduled. So far, so good. Then the headache began. The installer showed up an hour early and was gone before I got home from work. The appointment was scheduled when it was so I could be there. There was no contract or paperwork left. Our devices did not all access the service and I spent a number of hours on the phone with technical support to try to resolve this. As it turns out the internet speed was actually MUCH slower than our former provider. Not only that but we got the modem/router combo. We had the most basic router prior and this new combo actually provided less coverage in our home. Slower speed and smaller coverage for something promised to be faster and better. I was seeing enough to know that this was not a company that I wanted a long term relationship with so I called to cancel and get a refund. The headache continued. I was passed up to higher levels but never to someone who was authorized to provide a refund of the charges already paid. Twice I was promised a return call from someone who would take care of my situation but neither time did I get a call back. On the second to the last call I was told service would be cancelled once I returned the equipment but I would get a call back about the refund. I ever got the call and our service was cancelled the shortly after the call. I still had the equipment. Then I got a bill! They wanted more money! I called again and was told that I will get a credit when the equipment is returned. The only place I can return it to is open 9-5 M-F. I let the TW guy know I am a working man and that time frame is not going to work for me. There is no option for having it picked up? Nope. There are locations open on Saturday if I am willing to drive an hour to get there. If I could give a negative star rating I would. TW has not delivered as promised and cost way more than it should in terms of time, energy and money. I would be happy to retract this review but I have no reason to at this time. Please if you are considering working with TW Cable, reconsider. Avoid this company.

After being transferred and disconnected and sent to various FULL voicemail boxes 4 times, I tried to go into a Time Warner (spectrum) location at 5180 Dow Circle Rd Strongsville, Oh to discontinue my services due to extremely high costs despite many attempts to adjust service with no help from the customer service department whatsoever. While I was waiting to be seen I overheard the rep at the counter announce to the people ahead of me that its her lunch and this is cutting into her hour and told them to come back later, then proceeded to not even look up my account but start by telling me that I could not begin a cancellation because I did not have the receivers. I know that I am able to return receivers within a certain time period, I planned on bringing them Monday, just didnt want to continue to be billed. In reality it had already been made clear she just wanted to go to lunch! I am so beyond disappointed in this company and how theyve always neglected customer service! You rip people off and then have the nerve to make breaking ties near impossible!

If one start was capable, that is what I would give this location and Time warner all together. After purchasing my own modem, I was instructed to return my modem to this location. I returned my rented modem to this location in December. Not only did they lose the modem, but now Time Warner is trying to charge me the $78 fee to pay for them losing it. They have no record of me ever being in the store or returning my equipment. Time warner is not willing to work with you at all when it was their mistake and is why they are a failing company.

If I could I would give spectrum zero star rating, before seasonal hold internet service was $14.99, my dad who is on fixed income paid $5.00 per month for seasonal hold since November of last year. Now wanting to go off of seasonal hold spectrum wants $60.00 per month, he had to cancel since he cannot afford it, so my dad paid $5.00 per month for NOTHING since last November, how bout telling him $14.99 will not be offered to you any longer back when he requested seasonal hold. And we all thought Time Warner was bad.

I moved from Columbus 3 months ago and time warner never disconnected my services. I am still receiving bills from them and anytime I call to try and resolve the issue I end up on hold for over an hour. I end up hanging up because no one deserves to be on hold for that long of a time. Clearly there are several issues at time warner if the hold time to speak with a customer service representative is over an hour.

Stay away with Time Warner Cables. I canceled my services since 2014 and Still I am getting debt collections letters from Time warner. I resolved that issue two times, still there system is not updated. No one knows about debt issue still sending letters for pending charges. Very unprofessional and unreliable service. Their customer center service never responded well.

A driver coming from a residential street in Strongsville pulled out in front of me on my slippery, snowy commute this morning forcing me to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting him! Thank goodness I have 4 wheel drive and good tires or this couldve been very bad. Please teach your drivers safer, more courteous driving. Plate number and pictures available upon request.

My installer didnt even show up. Supposedly the person that took my info for new install never submitted my paperwork so no one showed up at the scheduled time/date... I had to go to the store and pick up a box and hook it up myself or else they were going to charge me $49.99... I HATE Time Warner, but theres no other provider in my area.

Very unprofessional....Didnt know what he was doing kept asking me me questions about my lines.seemed like they just hire anyone who wants a paycheck doesnt matter if they know what theyre doing.Had to have another tech out to fix what the first guy messed up...waste of time and MY money....never again..Im no longer a customer...

Owed twelve dollars and a big tattooed man showed up at my apartment and took our cable box and told me I had to now pay a reconnection fee to get it turned on. Never once did I get a call for a heads up about my service being shut off and cable box removed. Time Warners ok for the price.

I REBOOT MY CABLE BOX CONSTANTLY, STILL NO SIGNAL. IF I CALL TIME WARNER , I ALWAYS GET AN OVER SEAS PERSON AND WE ALL KNOW THAT STORY. IF I CALL IT IS AT LEAST 1&1/4 HRS. LATER. NOTHING. !!! IF WE HAD A CHOICE TIME WARNER WOULD LEARN TO RESPECT......
