After waiting 3 years for the lines to be installed??? Piss poor customer service! Let me start off by saying I maybe the lucky one that got away from a contract due to the lack of communication on their behalf by not even being able to arrange an appointment at a set time to connect my internet. I had a 2 day wait for a schedule installment which landed on a day that I had to be gone by 3:00pm so they took note to relay to the tech guy. Well tech guy came at an unexpected 8:45am called the wrong number due to the receptionist and left a note on gate sorry we missed u with the time wrote and a scratched out 3:00pm which was wrote in advance so I take it he initially intended on skipping my place all together. Well 9:45am my wife whom is at work receives the cell call saying hed come back by at 11:00am so I waited no show. I sent my son to check our mail only to find the note he left that morning which I had no idea until then that they even showed up. So called the recipients at 2:30pm to reschedule she said that tomorrow was impossible it may have to be 2days from now??? WTH Apparently it wasnt meant to be and probably a good thing I never got contracted in being that Verizon just came out with a spectacular cell with hotspot option which is unlimited data. And after reading the reviews even with the BBB it explains why they get reviews the way they do. So long windstream! Oh and thanks for running my credit with out my approval.

I dont even what to rate them1 star they should have negative numbers. If you need internet DONT BOTHER with windstream! Do yourself a favor and run! Dial up is 100 times faster.. We never have service when it is sunny, raining, windy, cloudy. No joke we have interet service for a minute then reloading. Then maybe 10 mins then reloading..... then none for 4hrs .... then for about 2hrs you can see where this is going. why it does this i have no clue. But hey I still pay the high cost bill for top speed. We spend more time on the phone with customer service which we now know them by first name basis. Most of them have a nasty attitude as if we caused the Internet to not work but there are a couple who are very nice. And the technicians that come to fix the Internet lol ya okay last I knew technicians actually came to your house and looked at the cable lines and not just call to say "is it working" and even when we tell them no we get "oh well lets watch it for 24hrs" really?! If we had a different Internet company available where we live trust me we would pay triple for it. So No I will never recommend them..

They conduct business like a true monopolistic company. I have have trying fur months to schedule an appointment that fits my busy schedule but they work around theirs without any thought about mine. I even had a voicemail recording left on my machine about a delivery time and when I called wanting to know where they were they told be a later window was scheduled and disregarded my left voicemail. I have chosen to use my unlimited data with Verizon than to do business with this monopoly. Your time will come Windstream

Slow internet service, poor customer service, slow response time. I have experienced poor internet quality for quite some time now, and havent seen service after two days of waiting and all that has come out of waiting on hold and dealing with rude service people is reduced internet speed and being ignored when wishing to purchase the upgrade.

They take advantage that they are your only non satellite phone company. .they add extra fees to your bill hoping you wont notice and the service is always going out..very rude customer service

Expense, One line to bundle and no alternatives. Although they are mandated to give internet service to our area, it isnt available and probably never will be. Truly bad company
