The two owners of this company are some of the best in the business I have ever worked with. They truly care about their company and in many cases, provide service the SAME day. Ive worked in Telecom for close to 40 years. These folks know what it takes to help a customer. Now, they are looking to deploy fiber into business in the surrounding area. Dont take this new infrastructure for granted. It is THE premium medium to transport your voice, video and data. Finally, Kingsland and to some extent, Camden County can enjoy tier-1 infrastructure as tier-3 pricing. Exceptional. If you need to improve the way you do business to get MORE business you need to look into their fiber offering. The reason any major corporation pulls fiber into their business is for quality and maximum up time. You will literally get the best the Telecom industry has to offer. While its not feasible for every business, it certainly can address most medium and larger enterprises in the area. Want to step up YOUR game? Perhaps you should give them a call and they will let you know if its feasible or not. They will shoot you straight and give you the best options possible. As always, they beat TDS for service (TDS doesnt even have a business office in the area) and will always compete for your business and not take you for granted. Speeds are improving (they recently installed a 10Gbps feed into their head-end, GREAT news for you bandwidth hungry folks out there) so adding capacity is simple. Again, this is tier-1 service that until this year, wasnt available at a cost-effective rate. Take a look, improve your business. Why wait?

I use to love Kingsland cable but not anymore :( I called 12/13 at 10 am (checked my phone reccords) to let them know I was moving and to make sure I did not owe any money because I was going out of town for about a month and half to help my MIL recover from surgery. I told them I wanted to leave my account in good standing because I wanted to continue service at my new place when I arrived back in Kingsland. I arrive back in Kingsland today to check my PO box and suprise I have a bill saying my service had been disconnected and it was going to be sent to collections if I did not pay the 26.00 within a couple of weeks! After going to Kingsland Cable to try and clear this up, I mistakenly though I had called the 2nd of december and they clamied I had not called the 20th and that I still owed the money despite there being a note on my file saying I wanted to discontinue service until further notice, The ladies were no help. I made a good faith effort to call and make sure I stayed in good standing and insted of any help all they wanted was the quick buck rather than a good customer who paid on time and wanted to continue service in the future. BONUS: After explaining that I had moved from my old address, the young lady that had taken my credit card ( I am not going to have $26 sent to collections) looked at me and asked if I wanted the internet cut back on at my old address? I dont think she had listented to a thing I said.

I do not pay the bill for their services, but I do use it. They provide the area with service from Windstream which is located out of Jacksonville and not through Kinglsand Cable themselves, so people shouldnt complain that Kingsland Cable is the culprit for terrible service. They only PROVIDE it. You only have so many options when you live in a suburban-rural area! We have the internet package, and what we use is decently priced and you get what you pay for. In fact, they offer a package where you can get twice the speed for half the cost, but only up to a certain Mbps. Ask them about it! I hear a lot of complaining but their customer service is great. The building they operate in used to be an old bank, so during business hours you can use their drive up window service. Theres an after hours drop box just on the other side of the window. On a related note that doesnt have to do with the internet provider itself: We thought we had terrible internet service because they were just a sub-par provider. Wrong. Turns out it the cheap router we used just didnt allow anybody to have a the full Mbps. So before you huff and puff about internet service, make sure you are using a good Wi-Fi router or ethernet hub. Skip the $39.99 crap from Netgear and throw an extra $100 toward your networking. Remember: you get what you pay for. And do your research!

I have used Kingsland Cable off and on for the past four years. After my husband and I moved back to Kingsland we only used them for the internet because there were no other choices. The cable and internet are terrible quality and the customer service sucks! The internet connection was always slow and would constantly stop working. When I called to ask what the problem was they said "it says your all connected on our end so the problem must be with your router." The only reason they are probably in business still is because they are the only internet providers in the area. Oh and if you are going to disconnect with them make sure you do it before the next billing period because they will charge you for an entire month even if you only used them for a couple days.

I honestly think we should hold a public lynching of all the owners of this business. I can not believe that they think it is acceptable to take advantage and exploit our Navy. I hope I dont ever personally meet one of them. Also Im considering opening my own ISP just to take them out of business. I dont even have to HOPE youll burn in hell, because Im 100% positive you will. I hope you cant sleep at night.

I had done business with this company from the first day it became available some 30-35 years ago. They never lied to me. TDS came calling with their supposedly high tech fiber optics. They offered tvs and other things to get people to join. Of course I didnt get anything except a $75.00 disconnection fee which took them all of 5 seconds to do. I would recommend Kingsland cable over YES any day of the week.

I just moved to the area from a SMALL town in Texas. We had 100M service for $45/Month through Suddenlink. I hope this is not the normal price for such a small data rate. There are other companies offering 200M is the larger towns. 25M is at least 10 years outdated. Contact me if you are ever interested in upgrading your infrastructure. Technology has greatly advanced in the last 10 years. I can help.

I love the internet service I received from Kingsland Cable and every time I call about a problem, which is not often, I always get a person who is friendly and prompt service. I left TDS because I couldnt get a person locally that could assist me and their internet service was the worst. I love Kingsland Cable!
