I had an unsatisfactory encounter with this office on August 8, 2013@3:00pm. With (!) CHECK SYSTEM message on one screen and a yellow (!) flashing on another screen in my Lexus GS 300. They checked the tire pressure in all the tires; however, the code remained. They used a system analysis instrument on the inside of the car. Then he put an instrument on the battery; consequently, telling me my alternator was bad since it should have 14% output and it was only12%. He said this would kill the battery and my car would just stop. I told him the battery was new! A bad alternator would drain the battery he said. With just a 2% difference I told him I take my chance and get it checked the next day. I carried it to the dealer the next day and they only had to press a button at no charge. What with this? I am a female take her to the cleaner or what? Never will stop there again.

Not even quite sure where to begin. Only reason Im giving a star is because the only thing they know how to do is ring up the cash register. During the course of exactly 6 months Ive had them replace my rear rotors once and brakes twice. Literally the day after getting them replaced, I still heard them squeal and make a metal to metal sound. They tell consistently they look good but I took it apart myself, theres absolutely no lubricant for the caliper pins to move when the brakes are in use and they tightened one bolt my rotor can barely even turn. Ive had brakes put on my car and have put them on myself and have never experienced this before or heard noises after putting them on. I paid 346 bucks and for what.? For them to do a half behind job so theyll wear down quickly so you have to come back for more. Smh

upsale upsale upsale!! they will try to upsale on just a simple oil change. I have been here twice. The first time I went I got a regular oil change. The second I went was for my next oil change. They then proceeded to tell me that I needed synthetic oil. I then explained I have never gotten synthetic oil, even the last time I was here. The manager then proceeds to tell me he will have to "document" that I declined the proper oil in my car. They also apparently do a "full inspection" however; when I pulled out of the lot my light was still on that my tire pressure was low in the car. They also spilt oil so I got to enjoy the sweet smell of burning oil on my way home. horrible!!!! find other places to go!!

I was traveling from Florida to Missouri when I had a brake issue, they got me in, checked it out and got me out of there in about an hour. To my surprise they were only going to charge me $17.00 to take a look at it, I was expecting to have to replace my master cylinder and had prepared my family for a night stay at a hotel and a $400 repair. They DID NOT try and sell me anything, I was very pleased and will certainly consider PepBoys for future automotive needs.

As a former employee, sometime you have a difficult time returning to your old employer, but I will always trust Tom and his staff with my and my wifes vehicles. The service is phenomenal, the staff is helpful and the work is always top notch. They were extremely helpful to my wife who is quite nervous when going to auto repair shops and for that, I am thankful. They really took great care of her and made her feel at ease with everything.

I had to go in to try and figure out if something was wrong with my battery, they were incredibly helpful, and the customer service was all you could ask for. Any other time Ive gone anywhere for any type of car service I leave feeling stupid and today I felt informed with honest answers. I definitely will be returning for any car needs I have in the future! 10/10 would recommend!

Theyre out to rip you off. They charged my $35 dollars just to look under my hood.Then they gave me a quote for $512 worth of work.I towed my car home to my mechanic and he repaired it for $80.
