Firstly, it is very difficult to find good (forget about great) customer service! It is even harder to find people who will listen to you and are compassionate. So needless to say, I dont write these reviews often! I had a storage unit here and I had a special issue dealing with this storage unit. I contacted the unit and got Debbie on the line. Debbie went out of her way and listened to me vent, she must have gotten tired of me, but she showed no signs of trying to get me off the phone or rush me. She was very patient and most of all she was Human!!! Most of the people in customer service forget they are human. I was in a bind and Debbie could have chosen to ignore me. Instead she offered me solutions and went out of her way to help me (something she didnt have to do). I want to take this time to thank Ms. Debbie, and Ms. Debbie I hope you get a chance to read this. By the way, the facility is clean and safe, but thats not what I was most impressed with. I liked the storage space; however. 1. They use a "simulated" digital signature - required - on the contracts - made me feel uncomfortable to have a simulated contract signature anywhere. When I stated this made me uncomfortable, the manager refused to rent to me. I begged her to let me as I needed to get storage that day - rentals, delivery men, etc. So I agreed to let ExtraSpace have their own version of my signature. 2. Their Insurance is "required" but may not be sufficient amount for your belongings - SafStor was a better policy for Price and Coverage. 3. Rent went up by $10/month after the promotional period ended - >10% after 4 months! 4. Move-Out - billing anniversary is the 4th - moved out on the 3rd and notified - they billed for the entire month anyways - "Sorry we dont prorate for auto-payments unless you notify in advance. It was Clean, nice easy facility to use but overall, I felt nickled and dimed - they own the terms, conditions and rates and dont seem to want to play fair.

All I can say is AWESOME experience, from start to finish. This was mine and my boyfriends first time having to store any thing... We were way out of our element, and in a time crunch to get moved out. Our new house was not ready when it should have been. I was super stressed waking in the door. Until I met Amy, she was great from start to finish. She was so very patient with us... Mostly me. She asked us all kinds of questions about what we were storing. Answered about a billion questions from me. Then she showed us several units and showed us how to maximize the space. She was great through out the whole process... Even when I wanted to see the different sizes more than once. Amy took the time to answer all of my questions, and made me feel very comfortable storing at this location. As a bonus, this has to be the cleanest storage place. Everything shines, even the floors!

After pricing other climate controlled storage locations, we discovered that ESS charged us the same amount as another place did for non-climate controlled. We also liked the fact that all units are inside and required using the access code three times before accessing our unit. The code was used first at the entry gate, second the door to the building, and third was the area where our unit was located. Even other ESS customers couldnt access our level unless they had the code access for that level. Plus, everything is recorded on their surveillance cameras. All units are inside. As an older female, I went over alone several times and felt perfectly safe. Wed use ESS again...and, if you are a senior or have military background, remember to ask for a discount.

The facility is VERY CLEAN and secure. I pass several storage facilities coming to this one because Im impressed by the upkeep, esthetics and staff. The comfort of this location trumped proximity for me. Richard and Debbie are pleasant to do business with and communication is always prompt. There is a sense of urgency when Im pressed for time. Richard helped me manage a transfer of units seamlessly... during my lunch hour. I highly recommend this location. Professional & friendly service. **AND CLEAN! ** Stated clean twice for a reason!

I moved my furniture from the Northwest to Extra Space Storage in Powder Springs. My daughter said they were the best and she was absolutely correct! From the first phone call, the folks there were helpful, professional and genuinely interested in my belongings. They recommended the perfect size unit for my furniture, there was never a problem with the movers bringing in my things, and their facility is spotless -- clean as a whistle! Ive had to store my furniture before but never had such a pleasant, positive experience in all regards.

This is an awesome facility! It is the best we have ever used.The customer support could not be better. . They are very friendly and helpful.The building is kept extremely clean and secure and there are plenty of carts any time we were there. I have been there several times by myself and and aways felt safe and felt like my belongings are secure.There are also cameras for security. Their price was reasonable for what you get. I would definitely recommend this place and will use it again if the need arises.

Visitied this location due to its proximity to work and my house, plus it looked clean and secure. Customer service was superb and Eric was very informative about my storage needs. The unit was competitively priced and I decided to rent here because I felt my belongings would be secure and easily accessable. Only drawback in the rental process was having to create a google+ account in order to do this review and not very clear to get to on the web.

We rented a unit today to help with the moving/staging process for our new home. This place is cleaner than most very nice hotels! The manager (Richard) was helpful and gave good advice on our questions. What a nice touch -- he brought cold water to us when we were finishing our last delivery. We probably looked exhausted :-) This is by far the nicest storage unit we have ever seen. Its worth the price for climate controlled storage!

I have been leasing a storage unit at this location since May now. I really like how clean and convenient the facility is. The staff is very nice and I feel that my belongings are safe. The elevators are easy to navigate, and I know that there are cameras and other security devices in place to protect my valuables. I can pay online, which makes it quite convenient for me. I would definitely recommend this location.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. She answered all questions and was thorough in presenting all of the details. The facility is spotless clean and well maintained with a good elevator. Well, we moved stuff to storage and discovered that I severely misjudged how much space we needed. Once again, Richard and Debbie were quick to get us set up with the right unit. Very professional and helpful with no stress!
