So as a good customer, I pushed myself and went to check the facility ,where I was about to store my motorcycles & tools(old tires ,wrenches&etc.),one day prior to move-in.I spoke with the manager on duty,checked my unit ,asked my questions and I got a quote that was 50% higher than one advertised online.So ,I received, their advice!!!! to go back home , do the reservation online and get the online rate.I did - so far ,so good.I got a call back from them ,to verify my reservation the next day,which was very polite,and I asked them ( I asked them also during my visit and got the same answer ! ) do I need any paperwork with me the next day , when I was about to move the stuff in , to open my account under my company name ( business expense;)) ) , their answer was I need nothing ,but my ID. Next day, I go there , new manager on duty.......he let me know that I can not put more than 1 motorcycle per unit , he needs from me titles for my bikes, up-to date insurance policies , oh almost forgot Articles of Incorporation for my company , and additional insurance for everything I decide to store there and/or IRS certificate with my FEIN. WTF??????????????? He let me know he needs all those documents BEFORE to let me open an account with them or put my stuff in the unit - 3:00 pm,45 minutes drive to home and then probably 1 hour back , all that during worst traffic hour in Chicagoland ???????????. At my remark, that I have explicitly asked in advance if I am gonna need anything to open an account and their negative answer( which I received twice 1 day before) , he simply replied he has not been in the office the day before therefore I , the customer,suppose to suck up all my efforts and lost time ( 48 hours ) and start eveything from scratch............not a word of apology or even simply "Sorry "..........I was mad and speechless.I would never rent unit there I advice you to do the same.

Ive had a storage unit here for several years. Darren has always displayed superior customer relations. A few years ago we had unusually heavy rains causing a leak in the roof of my unit. Darren immediately offered a solution and transferred me to a new unit so the other could be repaired. The facility is always kept clean with maintenance done regularly and professionally. Bottom line; great customer service and professionalism at a well run secure facility.

This Place was Great, Darren was Great, My Friend Fred rented with me. These are top Notch People. However, some Cube smarts are not good. In fact in Wheeling Illinois and Schaumberg Illinois You probably do not want to go to as the people there are not friendly and just do not understand business or customer service. The 1750 Busse Road place is and was Great.!!!

I cannot reiterate how happy I am with choosing Cube Smart. Keith was more than helpful with assisting me with my move in. I was rushing to get to the facility by 6pm (closing time) and Keith was super awesome by staying past closing just so I can secure a storage. Keith took the time to show me different units and was very helpful with the process. Thanks Keith!!!

Probably the smoothest "onboarding" experience Ive had in the 24 years Ive used self storage. Keith followed-up with me by phone within an hour of me making my space reservation online and Darren had me in my new unit shortly after my arrival with a working gate entry code and was available to answer any questions I had during the initial move-in period.

Darren was a tremendous help. I locked my keys in the car and he waited for an hour and a half with me even though they were closing. I have always enjoyed doing business with Cubesmart because of Darren and will continue doing so. This is a great place!!!

Outrageous late fees! $43.80 late fee for just 5 days late!!! Stay away at all cost!! They keep raising the rent about 10% a year. They may give you a good rate to start, but watch out, the rates go up! I definitely recommended you look elsewhere!!!!!

Cube Smart on Busse Road in Elk Grove Village is clean, dry, well lighted, and reasonably priced. This is the third time I have rented from them and never been disappointed. The manager Darren is great!
