Awful experience. I moved out on 12/14/14 and told Jennifer the movers locked the unit and accidentally took the key. She said that is ok, and she would cancel my unit and call me if there was going to be a charge for the cutting of the lock. Then in January I get a bill for an additional month. I called explained the situation and that I had already canceled on 12/14. I was told that I was going to talk to the District Manager Phil, but the lock was cut off. I called Phil twice on 1/17 and 1/21 and left voice messages; no call back. So when I got yet another bill in February, I am told that it was "taken care of" and the lock was cut off, but I would have to pay for the last 3 months because they werent able to rent the unit because the lock was on the unit. Customer Service is awful. Great service!!! Jennifer and Taguila have been extremely helpful! Would recommend to anyone.

THIS IS OUR 5TH TIME COMING BACK TO THE SAME MT. PROSPECT LOCATION JUST BECAUSE OF THE EXCELLENT SERVICE PROVIDED BY ANNA. EACH TIME WE WENT THERE, WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. ANNA IS VERY SKILLFUL, HELPFUL, VERY FRIENDLY WITH GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR & BEST OF ALL WE LIKE HER WAY OF CLOSING TOWARDS THE END WHEN IT COMES TO SELLING THE LOCK FOR THE STORAGE, IT WAS SO GOOD THAT I COULD NOT SAY NO. (GOOD CLOSER) I ADMIRE HER BECAUSE MY BACKGROUND IS IN SALES WHERE CLOSERS ARE ALWAYS MUCH MORE VALUED & I AM SURE WITH ALL THESE SKILLS/ QUALITIES, SHE WILL ALWAYS BE VERY SUCCESSFUL. I HAVE ALREADY REFERRED FEW FRIENDS WHO ARE ALSO VERY HAPPY THERE & WOULD NOT HESITATE REFERRING MORE & IF THERE WAS A SURVEY SENT TO ME, I WOULD GIVE HER 5/5 OR 100% OFF COURSE EVERY ONE IS NICE AT THAT LOCATION BUT ( ANNA YOU ARE EXCEPTIONAL. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE from Jen. Initial BIG confusion with unit size and rate upon reservation. Went to the store, told Jen about my upcoming move and storage dilemma,,,,,all I can say is THANK GOD she was there. She explained the promotional sale price and the terms, showed me three different units, made calls to a couple different locations to check availability and got me the size I needed at the cheapest rate, which was even cheaper than I was originally quoted. She was very friendly,,,apologetic about the prior confusion and extremely professional. I highly recommend asking for HER for any of your storage needs. This facility doesnt even deserve 1 star. This property is very old and in need of serious work. The indoor storage area is musty smelling. I couldnt imagine a persons belongings staying dry and clean. If youre in need of a parking space, run! They most likely will set you up in the "backyard" where there isnt even concrete or lighting. Its a trailer yard that floods and has gravel and ditches. The fence looks like its ready to tip over. I moved in site unseen (big mistake). I moved out less than a week into my first month. Pay a little more money and have peace and mind that your property will be in good hands.

Lindsay the property manager at this location has always been courteous and helpful with our account. She shows examples of what proper customer service should be like always with an upbeat attitude, willing to help and always professional in the upmost sense of the meaning. We are pleased to store our vehicle at this location based on location, cleanliness and quality of service. I highly recommend anyone to store here.

The facility is clean and protected from weather, so as much as you want--and can afford--to put in there you can. With all the moving in, partially moving out, etc, it has been been extemely helpful to have Anna working there at Public Storage to assist. Seems like Anna runs the entire place 7 days a week sometimes, but she is very knowlegable when it really counts. Hats off to her and PS.

Ron Moore Saved the day! He has a wealth of product knowledge,great ideas,and wonderful customer service. Ron took his time presenting all the information and answered all questions I had. My father is 91 and has items in storage here. Hes been concerned about getting rid of items, because he wants everything in order before he passes. Hes always been deeply pragmatic. Renee was outstanding. She was able to provide the information we needed in a courteous and respectful manner. She really went out of her way & deserves recognition for going above and beyond!

I recently leased an indoor storage unit at this location. Jennifer D. is not only pleasant to deal with but also very professional and efficient. The facility is close to me and I found it clean, well lit and seemed to be maintained well. I was specifically looking for an indoor unit close to my home, this facility had the best availability in the size I need at a good price.

My experience at the public storage in mount prospect was great, and awesome. Jennifer and Marlene, gave the best service and explain the lease really good. So I could understand it and answer my questions great. I would recommend use this public storage in Mount Prospect.

Terrible place! Paid a lot of money to keep my furniture and belongings safe before we could move to our home and someone broke into unit from top. The netting was all ripped on one side. The headboard was destroyed to our bed. Things were moved around. Never again!

I recently lost the keys to my lock and when I went into the office Joe was very helpful, telling me exactly how Public Storage helps you when you lose your keys. We filled out the paperwork to get the lock cut off and a new one put on in its place. Thanks Joe.
