I visited your Orland Hills store. My experience was great as a result of meeting the manager Brenda Thomas,who I found to be very professional,knowledgeable and courteous. Brenda was able to answer all my questions and concerns,she explained the company policies,discuss the prices of boxes,locks and other packing supplies. I plan to down sizing in the near future, I stopped by to check pricing and decide where I want to store my personal contents before relocating,based on my experience and conversation with Brenda,no doubt about it ,Public Storage will be my only choice. Customer service makes the difference between average and great! Brenda makes this store five star,she has wonderful customer service skills. Public Storage should be proud to have her on board.

First of all let me say that Brenda is a gem. She is very polite, has great customer services skills, she is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. My situation was that my daughter secured the unit and, unfortunately, put the lock on the wrong unit. When Brenda and I went to the correct unit and found that our lock was not on the unit she took the time to do some extra checking and drive around the units with me to find the correct unit. We eventually found it. Brenda did all this extra work, never complained and never gave me the hint that she was upset. I am not so sure that I would be able to face this problem with a customer anywhere near as well as she did. As I said, Brenda is a true GEM. Thank you.

We moved our stuff our on a Friday and they called us letting us know our unit was empty, we said we were moving out that day and we would be in Monday to pay/close out. They said that was fine and it would be $17 for the short time we were in. We went in Monday to close out and they said because we were 7 days in we had to pay a whole month, this was not mentioned on the phone. They also said we could have closed this over the phone to skip paying the whole month on that Friday when they called but NEVER provided that option. We will not be back to this place and we will not recommend this location to anyone else. Beware, theyre not truthful over the phone.

This was the first time I ever rented a storage unit. I only needed it for about 6 months. Brenda was the nicest person I have ever encountered in customer service. She was so friendly and helpful explaining everything to me. She took me to show me the unit before I signed anything to make sure it would be big enough for what I needed it for. Luckily I had the pleasure of dealing with her when I was ending my storage unit rental also. I wish more people in this world were as kind as her. If I wasnt moving so far away and ever needed public storage again, I would definitely go back to this location!!

What a great experience. First time renting a storage unit. I will be renting again in the future if needed. The Orland Hills Public Storage is great! The lot is clean and the accessibility from 159th Street is very convenient but the best part of the place is Brenda. She clearly takes great pride in her work and goes the extra mile to help her customers. She personally gave me a tour of the setup and and explained everything to me. There was no quick talking or pressure to purchase something I did not need. I highly recommend this Public Storage for its cleanliness but more importantly because it has a great manager running the place.

I went to a bunch of public storages out in my area and they were all good. The best one that I love to go to is the one in Orland hills because of the staff. In particular Brenda Thomas shes the best. This is the most considered and professional person I have ever ran across. I would definitely give her and that site 5 stars. Brenda makes every visit a great one. If you want a place to store stuff and have a great experience at the same time go see Brenda and she well take care of you.

Brenda was very helpful at this location. However my overall experience with Public Storage was not good. I ended my 3 1/2 month stay at PS on 9/17. I expected to get refunded for the last 2 weeks of Sept that Im not using the facility. However the policy is to not to prorate the rent if you vacate after the 8th of the month. I think this is bad practice and not good for customer satisfaction. Especially if PS now rents out the space I had for the rest of Sept and double dips!

Meet with Brenda. she is very pleasant, She explained everything to me where i was able to understand requirements, prices of units, etc. she told me exactly what i was signing and why. very clean facility. Thank You Brenda you made me feel very secure in storing my belongings with your facility. I like public storage they always sent you an email to let you know when your payment is due. Brenda is always helpful and pleasant. very clean facility.

This last week I went to get some of the items that we had stored at Public Storage. The cold weather had frozen our lock. To the rescue came Brenda. Even though it was cold and we were standing in snow, Brenda was determined to help us get into the unit. After opening the unit she stayed with us to make sure that we could properly close and lock the door. Thanks!!! Brenda definitely helped us out...and she did this with a smile:)

First time I met Brenda, I said "She must be the funniest woman Ive ever met". Along with funny, comes welcoming and courtesy. Every time I stop by, I got to know her more as a very business minded and a professionalism were always present. Ive been a customer of PS since 2012. I had the privilege of doing business with the cheerful and helpful BRENDA! Even though she did not have the size box that I needed, she immediately checked and verified that the Public Storage down the street had the exact thing I was looking for. Not only was she knowledgeable, she is very talented. I am left-handed, as is BRENDA and you wont believe how she writes... Amazing!! Stop in and see for yourself!
