I recently found myself in need of storage to clear out what is to be a nursery for our first child. Having only one experience with storage places while I was in college I was a little apprehensive to say the least. In college I found much of my stuff wet and ruined. That being said I went to the Mini Storage Depot in Walled Lake and was blown away. The facilities were great and secure and they seemed weather proof, living in Michigan everything should be weather proof, and everything was well lit. I felt comfortable if my wife were to ever have to come here without me she would be perfectly safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was not completely sure sure how much space I was going to need to get everything in and Im not talking about a Tetris solution where I would not be able to get to anything without having to take everything out...a comfortable packing and storage solution. I know I am rambling on but in a time when customer service is at what I feel an all time low it is nice to find friendly people and a service that actually does what it is suppose to do...especially with the stress of eminent fatherhood.....yikes!!! Thank you.

This company is like so many others, unfortunately. They are after your money and offer nothing in the way of customer service. I recently needed their assistance with entry when I wanted to get to park my bike and I was 1 minute after 10 pm. I was not able to get to my car. The service line told me their was nothing they could do and that they were sorry for my inconvenience. I pay these people far more than they deserve for what they offer. The new owners are clearly not service oriented and only seek to take money from customers. There are plenty of other storage facilities in the area. Seek them out! This facility is no longer recommended.

The manager is completely rude. After changing names they never mailed me anything about their "safeguard plan" and just randomly added it to my account. I asked to have it waived since I was never notified and the manager refused. Horrible service and overpriced. I called another company that has a lower price and no hidden fees and THEY WERE HELPFUL. I will be moving all of my stuff Friday. Oh the new place also has a truck you can rent for moving all your stuff. Much nicer than this place....They are AWFUL. Only go there if you wish to be ripped off and have fees galore.

The Best Storage facility around! We were looking for storage close to South Lyon, but everyplace seemed like they did not care or had the creepy person running the desk. The we Found Mini Storage Depot. There staff is super helpful, storage is a great price, and the units are like new. Just a great experience! I have to drive a little further but it is well worth it. You can even email the regional manager and he responds right away. WOW. No one else provides good email service. Thanks for the great service!

Service unlike any other! With such a positive and friendly staff, its clear that the Walled Lake division of Mini Storage Depot is a step above any other - Id find it hard to believe that any other storage company would match their quality. I wasnt sure what to expect, but found the prices to be extremely reasonable and the facilities exceptional. Really great!

This place is the best storage place around! I didnt understand the $9.00 dollar fee so I went in and talked to the manager and she explained what it was for. After speaking with her I understood and was absolutely fine with it. Its a very nice place and great staff. The young lady who is manager is very professional and very helpful. 5 stars!

Rate just keeps going up. I have a 10x20 unit here that I rented for $140 a month. The rate almost went up to $145, then $148 and now its $157. I have only had this unit for 10 months and the rate has increased 3 times. No improvements have been made to the property and I see no reason for these rate hikes. Very irritating.

Ive used this storage companybefore and was totally happy. Good clean units, nice grounds and a very helpful, knowledgeable and kind staff. I was very happy with this company and would definitely recommend it as a place to store your items. They run good deals and have, I think, very good prices. Give them a try.

Yery happy with staff and the size of the yard and 24hr access. However the snow removal is terrible. They block trailers in and hardly ever salt. I have slipped twice trying to get my trailer out

Storage is storage until you visit the folks @ MIni Storage Depot in Walled Lake. They really know their business and truly want to help with your storage needs. Easy access too.

Do not trust and do not rent... so many loop holes, not opened 24 hrs as other listed. Manager rude and enmployees change stories on the leases..

Easy to access units, even with a bigger truck. Unit I used was clean and had doors on both ends. Office staff was curteous and efficient.
