Id highly recommend Jeremy Nordgren and his staff. I had an extensive front end suspension repair that was diagnosed quickly. The shop gave me a loaner car to use for the entire repair process (which was already warmed up for me on an early, cold morning). I received professional, honest communication about what was best repair given the vehicles mileage, age, and how long I was going to keep it. He also prioritized some neglected maintenance and I felt a sense of relief in getting that done. He had a vendor send my needed parts by next day at no cost to me because of his business relationship with them. Jeremy and his crew worked on it until 5:30 p.m. on a Friday afternoon so that I could have the minivan back for the weekend activities with the kids (much appreciated!). He also did a few extra things like replace light bulbs for no cost. After looking over my bill, I could definitely see the value in my repair! For the service I received and the extensive work that I had done, I am very satisfied with my experience at Nordgren Automotive and will definitely take my vehicles back there again.

I would be very, very careful before using this shop. I was a first time customer and went in for a rear rotor repair and was told I had multiple issues on my vehicle, with brakes, steering, rotors etc. Repair cost was estimated at 2300-2500 dollars. I went back to my old shop and they said I did not need what Nordgren said I needed repaired. My repair work cost at the other facility was 540 dollars. The prices quoted on Nordgrens repair work were so high that they virtually matched the price of what a name brand car dealership costs. I would highly recommend consumers to be very careful and research and/or get a second opinion before they use this shop, it saved me 2000 dollars, that is a big deal to me. Update one year later of review: the repair they said I needed a total replacement/repair of a part costing 1800 dollars total is still working fine and thank God I went somewhere first and did not use these guys.

I was referred to Jeremy and Nordgren Automotive by my neighbor several years ago. BTW, my neighbor was referred to Jeremy by a friend of his! Nordgren Automotive does an exceptional job of diagnosing problems that I bring in. In addition, they do a great job of identifying things that may need attention in the future. Yes, he finds stuff that needs attention and he goes teh next step to create a watch list. He prioritizes the watch list as to what needs to be done now and what things can wait. I can trust his judgement and expertise and this in turn allows me to make an informed decision. On my most recent trip he researched replacement rims (in advance) for my Audi Allroad knowing I have two bent rims. In addition, I bring my companys Honda Accord to Jeremy for service and work. He solved a front-end vibration that had bedeviled the dealership for three visits.

My experience with this shop was not something I plan to repeat; therefore I would not go back there again. I dropped my vehicle off with them for almost two weeks to have it looked at. I did tell them it was a low priority, which it was. However, every time I called or stopped in I was told they would be pulling it in that day or the next day. After four times of being lied to; I finally just picked it up. If you ever call and hear “This is Pat” do yourself a favor and just hang up. They have zero respect for the customer’s time and don’t have a problem lying to customers. It should not be asking too much to ask for a proper time frame to get an estimate and to do the needed and agreed upon repairs in a proper time frame as well. This shop failed both these areas for me.

I bought a car from Main Street Dealership in Mound, MN. The car had a very worn timing chain that broke while I was driving it and ripped through the entire engine. I called Nordgen Auto because they were recommended to me via a trusted source and I couldnt have been treated with more kindness in such a nightmare of a situation. They gave me honest estimates and skilled diagnosis of the damage. Jeremy took the time to price out all my options for fixing or replacing the engine. They were hands down better than the first place I had the car towed when the incident first occurred. I would tell anyone who has a minor to huge issue with their car to take it here. The prices are competitive and the customer service was impeccable.

I recently had one of the big auto repair places tell me I needed new brakes on my Jeep Liberty, but I didnt trust them because they couldnt tell me why. So, I got a second opinion at Nordgren Automotive and Im really glad I did. They carefully inspected it and were able to explain to me why I didnt really need new brakes quite yet. While inspecting my Jeep, they provided me a list of maintenance things to take care of, but I didnt want to have everything done at once, so they helped me prioritize what needed to be done in an affordable manner. Great place, great people and great work. I highly recommend this place for you and your car!

I initially took my vehicle to a trusted mechanic of a family member. They told me I would need both front wheel bearings replaced and quoted me an outrageous price. I contacted Nordgren Automotive and they were able to give me a much more reasonable estimate and fit me in right away. I was very pleased to find out I actually only needed one bearing replaced! Too often shops take advantage of unacknowledged customers but not at Nordgren Automotive. They have gained my trust and I will always bring my vehicles here!! These guys are very professional, timely and trustworthy! I highly recommend this shop for all of your car repairs!

Nordgren Automotive has been my trustworthy automotive center for the past year now. I have brought my car and my girlfriends car in twice and all 4 visits have been wonderful. My girlfriends car has now set its own personal record for being issue free for longer than 6 months. The staff is friendly and professional and service work gets completed efficiently. I was able to use their loaner car for all each time so my daily tasks wouldnt get put on hold. Rates are very reasonable and you dont feel like youre getting pushed into services that you dont need. I would recommend Nordgren Automotive to all my friends and family.

Brought in my 07 Audi A4 for Timing Belt change. One of their techs, Luke, did a great job of diagnosing what needed done, what could wait, what would need done in the future, etc. Pricing was very competitive, but the service was far and above a dealer or large shop where your car may pass 2-3 hands before being returned to you. High attention to detail and expertise knowledge make this a great auto shop I will continue to keep bringing my car back to. Additionally, they got the work done a day earlier than expected!

I head south for the winter and store my truck. Two years ago, when I returned in the spring, I was told that I would need a new transmission because of the way the engine was acting. A friend of mine told me to take it to Nordgren to have it looked at. I dropped it off and was contacted later that day it was ready for pick up. The problem was caused by mice chewing the wires - the kid is a genius!! He told me to put dryer sheets under the hood to keep the mice away - I am reminded of this each fall and it works!
