Let me start off by saying that Im no stranger to the need for Internet or cable. Having to sit on the phone with a representative for a lengthy period of time, only to find out that their advertised pricing was for something I didnt need entirely or that there was something wrong with the order or that they didnt actually have service in my area. Ive had to call these places, such as Comcast or Century Link, to rectify technical or billing issues only to be met with rude or inexperienced people who wouldnt or couldnt fix my problem. But, since internet, for me, is so vital in my day to day life, I gritted my teeth and dealt with those companies. I hated it. Now that Ive just recently moved into a new apartment, I was honestly cringing at the daunting task of getting internet set up. Fortunately, I stumbled across this company and thought, "why not, whats the worst that could happen?" So I called and was instantly greeted in a very upbeat and positive manner. Right off the bat, I was smiling and knew I was dealing with a real person who loved their job. They were extremely knowledgeable about the internet I needed and offered me some pretty awesome rates; much better than the Comcast or Century Link websites did. They did all of the grunt work for me, by calling century link (this company is a third party, if you werent aware) and setting up my installation and account with them. So personable and I felt like I was the only customer that mattered at that moment. I wasnt rushed or pressured into anything. The experience was outstanding!! I will never go to the Comcast or Century Link websites again for my needs, Ill only call this amazing company. Thank you !

I have been using Comcast internet service for many years and as some of you can relate, their customer service was the absolute WORST customer service i have ever had to deal with. Not only would they continually toss me from department to department, they would constantly hang up on me or drop the call, forcing me to spend countless hours trying to figure out my issues. Working with Lori Rudstrum and The Connected Home was like a breath of fresh air. Not only did Lori work incredibly hard to get me the exact services i wanted, she got them for me at a fraction of what I was paying with Comcast! I cant express how pleased I am with the personal and friendly service Lori and The Connected Home provided for me. If you have services already or are thinking of upgrading or changing them, I recommend you call The connected home and see what they can do for you, you will be upset that you didnt call sooner!

Ive now used The Connected Home twice for my internet provider needs. Ryan at TCH immediately told me my only reasonable option was Comcast as Century Link offered a 1.5 mbs service, of which he didnt recommend even a little. After finding an introductory price that fit my needs but didnt go overboard, he found a way to waive some of the more unnecessary fees Comcast charges and locked me in on an affordable monthly rate. A year later, Comcast pumps up the bill to $30 more a month, and Lori at TCH does the exact same thing for me, keeping me at my introductory rate for another year. These people are honest and customer service-oriented, and I highly recommend working with them to find the internet provider best for you.

Fantastic experience with The Connected Home!! Im moving to a new apartment and was dreading calling around to get quotes from different providers to find the cheapest internet. I stopped in at The Connected Home and the owner Chris quickly gave me my options for internet services and the prices and helped me select the best service. He set up everything and even gave me a free modem! In five minutes I was out the door with my new service all set up and ready to go when I move in. By far the easiest experience Ive ever had shopping for internet. If youre shopping for a new internet provider, The Connected Home is the place to go!

Majorly disappointed. I contacted this company for security serivces. I was provided a call back quickly however after that point their customer service was TERRIBLE. The individual did not show up to the appointment we had set up. I sat waiting and had to call asking if he still planned to come (already 20 minutes late); he then told me it would take him another 30 minutes to get there. I provided him my email address for him to send me quotes, but those quotes never came. I took my business elsewhere, but would not recommend this company to anyone.

We recently moved to Anoka county, and were looking for an internet provider, but were completely clueless as to how much we needed and where to look. One quick scan on Google led us to The Connected Home, and all the positive reviews encouraged us to make the call. What a great decision! We were treated as friends, and we never felt as if they were trying to take advantage of, but quite the opposite! Easy painless way to get the best deal. When the tech didnt arrive for my scheduled appointment Ryan called up century link and dealt with all the transfers and only brought me on once we got to the right people. It was a huge time saver and made my life sooooo much easier. If you need cable internet service, just go through these guys. They do all the shopping for you, its free and there customer service is awesome.

I spoke with Ryan and he was great. Did all of the work for me in finding a provider. It was Super easy and he was really polite and helpful. I usually avoid talking on the phone at all costs but i wish i had reached out to these guys sooner. Dont even bother combing through the different sites. Just call these guys. It took like 5 mins at most.
