The most absolute worst customer service and cable experience I have ever had! I tried to add services for ESPN on a Thursday to watch the basketball playoffs I was told it would add $10 to my bill which I was ok with. Three and a half hours later I still had no ESPN and the lady I talked to said I was misinformed and the game was just about over. When I had called in they had no history of my ordering the Chanel even with an order number. They proceeded to tell me I could only get ESPN by moving up tiers which would have added another $50 more to my cable bill. I said no I didnt want that. They said that they were going to try to figure out how to get me ESPN free for a couple of days because of my hassel but the game was over and unless they could guarantee i would receive it on Saturday for the next game I didnt want it. I had asked for a phone call to resolve the issue and I received a confirmation of a phone call between 5:00pm & 6:00pm to stay with the same person I had been talking to. We worked out to see if there were any time differences, and there were none, and I received my confirmation number. I didnt receive a phone call until 10:40pm with a voicemail left stating how she can get me ESPN for $10/mo! WTF! I called back on Saturday because there were channels on my TV that shouldnt be there and my internet was now acting up. I was on the phone for 4 hours. My internet never got fixed and I come to find out that they added the extra $50 package onto my account! The gentleman I was on the phone with had a meeting he had to be at and promised he would back after that meeting to check to see how everything was running with my internet and he never called back. My internet went completely out by then and when I called back in I was just scheduled a service call between 4:00-5:00pm. I was told I would receive a text to confirm my appt an hour before which I confirmed. I was asked if I would like a phone call and text message to notify me when the technician was on their way and I of course said yes. The only text I received was the one at 3:00pm to confirm my appt. The only phone call I received was at 4:49pm telling me I had missed my appointment and needed to call back to make another one. I have printed out my phone statements for them as well. I requested for someone to come back out, an emergency form was submitted, I was told that I would receive a phone call from dispatch in an hour and never received one. I call back and I was told my emergency request had been automatically denied. When I asked why they said its because I wasnt at my first appointment. I told them I have proof of being home and I have proof of no phone calls or texts other than the ones I had mentioned before. All they could do was apologize. I then asked them again to send someone out. They said they only have people out until 8pm. I said ok its 7:30pm please send someone out. I was put on hold until 8:01pm and the gentleman I was talking to when confronted about the convenient timing her had couldnt say a word about it. He was speechless and obviously embarrassed stumbling over his words. I requested to then cancel my services. They said someone would contact me the next day (Monday). I hadnt received a phone call but I did receive a text stating a technician was on their way to my house while I was at work. I immediately called since I as not at home and I never scheduled that appointment. When I called in they transferred me from department to department. The lady I was talking to then put me on hold telling me she could help me and put me on hold for 20 min to come back with "special" promotions and offers offering me a price $10 more than the price I was already paying for the exact same package! I didnt ask for sales pitches or to keep my services. I requested 4 times from this lady to cancel my services! She proceeds to put down all the other local services stating directly about DirectTv and Dish Network. This isnt even all of it but I have reached my character limit. Dont get Time Warner!!!!!!

This is the absolute worst company in the world. Do not ever use them. When I first got their services I was in and out of cable because the idiot who installed it did not set it up right or with the correct wires. Then I did not have my HD channels because they had to install a different box. And on top of that my internet would go out every other day almost for 10 minutes or more at a time. When I called to turn off my service they failed to turn off my account the date I had scheduled and continued to charge me for 3 months after that until new tenants moved into where I was staying. They never event contacted me or anything about owing anything... I did not know until they sent debt collectors after me. I have called and tried to deal with this multiple times and finally after the 4th time of calling and getting very angry, I got to talk to a supervisor instead of one of their incompetent call takers. He removed the charges for the three months they wrongfully charged me for, and put in YET ANOTHER work order to look in their storage for the equipment that I had returned. I never got a call back like I was supposed to and never was followed up with and not they have creditors contacting me about it. This company will do anything for any penny they can get out of you and they do not know how to treat their customers. If you want to deal with a bunch of crap, then go ahead and go with them. Trust me, youll regret it.

Everyone has read the posts about wishing a zero star was available. Well, heres another one. Heres what happened. We bought internet many years ago from TWC. It was the mid-grade one and it never seemed to work correctly with our router. They advised me to buy a new router so I spent the money and bought an expensive Cisco. We were still experiencing the same issues (needed to call for resets and tweaks every week or two). We pressed the issue enough that they decided to run a new line to the house. Same thing for months. We pressed the issue some more and they brought us a new modem. Same thing for months. They run yet another new line to our house-- same thing again. Finally, I decided to upgrade to their fastest subscription and use the wifi router thats built into their equipment. Same thing again. They sent techs out repeatedly and could never figure it out and they never seemed to respect that we were paying over $100 a month JUST FOR INTERNET to work in our home. We just wanted the thing to work-- regardless of the cost and they couldnt make that a reality. Officially, Im done with Time Warner-- written off of my list permanently.
