We have a church off of Duvall Road located at 3862. And our home is located off Ruth Place. And we have had timely mail that had to reach its destination within 2-3 days in Columbus. Neither mail was picked up either day. Both Feb. 14th and.15th. This is unexceptable. ..now I am going to have to drive to Columbus and deliver it by hand. Thanks Ashville Postoffice! Just got off the phone with the post office and they said they dont have to pickup the mail inside the city on the walking route if there is none that is being delivered to your house. But the driver should have seen the one they are driving by. What???

January 6, 2015 For the second day this week, and a dozen plus times in the past few months, my rural mailbox has been left open. Despite phone calls, speaking with Bill at the office in Ashville, the issue continues. Bill has offered several reasons for this, including the carrier moves too fast, my box is not level, and the magnets holding the door closed are too weak, among them. This past weekend, I added 2 more magnets to the mailbox, hopefully eliminating that as an excuse. Every day the carrier arrives, the door is closed. If I can close the door, why cant the carrier?

My mail carrier is a great person! Always has a smile and a wave and never gets upset when my neighbors block the mail box! Been here for 6 years and for 6 years, Ive never had a complaint! Thank you Floyd!
