My sister in Rittman has Time-Warner Cable. My father in Sterling has DirectTV. Both of them having nothing but complaints about the customer service, or more accurately, the complete and total lack thereof. Service phone calls take days to get a response, and that after a half-hour or one hour of waiting on hold. I call CPI and I never have to wait on hold for more than three or four minutes. After the first couple of menu selections, I always get a real person. Every time I have had a problem the service people came out and fixed it the very same day. Adding or subtracting package elements is as easy as a phone call and are always implemented within the same day. True, I do pay more than either my sister or my father, but I have a better channel selection than either of them and I dont have a single premium package. All I have is BasicPlus and HD Essentials. I do have a complete bundle with internet and telephone. The internet is their mid-range package and it is more than fast enough for everything I need. The telephone service so far has been flawless. I have been a CPI customer since January 2010 and I do not have a single complaint. The price is higher than cheapo satellite, but the fast, friendly customer service more than makes up for it. My father and sister both have much nicer DVRs, thats true, when they work. My father is on his fourth, my sister on her third. Mine has almost no storage to speak of, but it has enough for my needs and for the eight months Ive had it there has never been a single problem.

My experience with MCTV has been a very, very, terrible one. Growing up in Massillon, Ohio, I have always been relying on MCTVs various services due to the lack of ISPs in the area. For me, Internet speeds are very important. As I went away to college, I was able to experience other ISPs in action. As I would return from college to Massillon, I couldnt be more disappointed with the speeds that were being offered for the prices they were providing. In conclusion, MCTV has for the 20 years I have spent here, majorly disappointed me and my friends alike. For those who are moving to Massillon, I would like to apologize for the Internet performance you are about to receive. For current recipients of MCTVs Internet service, I suggest that you join me in showing your distaste for the way this company has treated you and ripped you off over the years. Massillon deserves better service from a company who claims to care so much about their customers.

At one point, I was upset at this company, but I have been a customer with them for a very long time. Their customer service is more than fair and they have looked out for me in tough times. For the past year or more my connection has been great with the internet and I cannot even remember the last time I had a minor outage. If you have any problems you need to just call them, ask for the right department and they will solve any problem you have. Although I do agree with my friend Doug below this review about the price being a little high you could do so much worse. Ive heard horror stories about Century Link. They can end up charging you way more. My roomate had CL and got his bill raised higher with little notice.

This company has to be committing a crime for crying out loud. They are the only provider for wooster, oh and they are completely unreasonable. Not only due they charge horrible prices for the tiny line up of channels, half the time the signal fades or drops out entirely. The digital TV solution is a joke. They give you special boxes that are trash, including the remote that only works when it wants to. The thing that ticks me off the most is they put a limit on how many movies you can rent from the on-demand in a month. Seriously folks, if you can, i suggest getting sat-TV out here. This company is a rip off.

This is a smaller ISP, therefore they cant be front runners when it comes to speed. I think the price is fair when you consider they dont have data caps. I currently am on the 100mb/s plan and hope to upgrade to a faster plan in the future as soon as one comes out. If you are not getting the speed that is advertised, I would recommend that you contact support as there could be a problem with your coax/network. I had called about a problem on Christmas eve, and they sent a truck out and the service was back up in under a hour. I couldnt be happier with their customer support.

p. much everything aaron said is very true. we have outdated boxes with very little features about 2x a day pictures freeze on the screen and you have to change channels then back to the one you was watching for it to clear up. internet speed is the slowest internet compared to other cable cos for the same price. not very much room on the dvr unit when compared to others. if you want to use a cc to pay your bill you will be charged extra fee for doing so. only way to avoided this fee is to show up with cash. guess they cant get a cc machine?

Literally the worst connection speeds money can buy, which is a damn shame because they are the only connection speeds you can buy in this area. Not to mention horrible customer support which can take days to arrive to even diagnose problems. Would not recommend unless you have no other option. T-Mobile cellular data is faster and cheaper. Someone just hurry up and deliver fiber networks to Wooster so we dont have to deal with this crap.

Internet service is horrible. I restart my router at least 3 times a day just to stay connected for simple things, but its not like you get many choices when choosing internet providers so Im stuck with them.

Worst internet ever. Literally stream and lag constantly and lag out of games. They had better internet at the first thanksgiving dinner when they were uploading photos of the indians and pilgrims.

Expensive for what you get. Not to mention upload speeds are terrible. I liked TWC better when I had them. Still may have to go back to MCTV because its the only service in my area.

Packages are overpriced, and internet isnt stable. Got 100mbps and when doing tests, I receive around 20mbps-40mbps. Definitely not good internet for gaming, or HD video streaming.

Add up 2 years of DirecTV (honestly) and Mctv is much cheaper and they dont charge 50 bucks for a service call. I like being able to call and get a live person on the phone.

Good service , but prices per package is very high. Internet is relatively dependable. But too expensive for the package.

Despite advertising speeds up to 20 megabits download, it never exceeds 19 and seems to be capped there.
