I NOTICE THAT THERE ARE NOT VERY MANY REVIEWS ON CABLE ONE IN ADA, OK. SO I AM JUST GOING TO START BY TELLING MY EXPERIENCES THUS FAR. I AM A DEAF INDIVIDUAL AND HAVE BEEN WITH CABLE ONE FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW. SO FAR I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO REACH THE STORES REPRESENTATIVES--- EACH TIME I CALL THE STORES NUMBER THERE IS AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM THAT TRANSFERS YOU OUT INSTEAD OF ALLOWING YOU TO SPEAK WITH A PERSON IN THE STORE; EVEN DURING HOURS. I HAVE BEEN SO FRUSTRATED WITH THIS COMPANY AND AS A DEAF INDIVIDUAL THE CITY OF ADAS CABLE ONE COMPANY IS NOT REPRESENTING THEMSELVES WELL FOR THE DEAF COMMUNITY. NO WONDER ALL MY DEAF FRIENDS PREFER AT&T. AT LEAST THEYLL ANSWER THE PHONE. OH YEA, I AM EXPECTING A CALL FROM A SUPERVISOR AT MY LOCAL ADA OFFICE AND I HAVENT HEARD FROM HIM OR HER AND WAS SUPPOSED TO HEAR BACK YESTERDAY. THEYVE ALWAYS HAD SHAKY SERVICE AND MY BILL FOR WIFI ONLY HAS NEVER BEEN 58.00 EVEN UNTIL THIS YEAR AND ONLY TWO MONTHS SO FAR. THEY SENT A MAN TO CUT OFF MY SERVICE AFTER I PAID 126$ WHICH INCLUDED LATE PAYMENT WHICH IS FINE BUT GEE I PAID MY BILL AND SAME DAY THEY CUT IT OFF. ITS HARD ENOUGH TO CALL CABLE ONE WITH ONLY ONE GOOD EAR AND WHILE AT WORK 7:30-5:30PM ... AT LEAST MAKE IT EASIER AND CALL THE CUSTOMER BACK! I SURE HOPE THE ADA, OK OFFICE IS READING THESE REVIEWS. I HOPE THERE ARE SOME SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN THE WAY THEY HANDLE BUSINESS. ESPECIALLY OVER THE PHONE. IT SHOULDNT TAKE ME A WEEK TO FINALLY GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE AND THEN NOT RECEIVE A CALL FROM A SUPERVISOR LIKE ADVISED. GOOD RIDDANCE

EXPERIENCE!!!? Id LIKE TO SEE ANYBODY THERE THAT HAD SOME. WE PAY 180 A MONTH FOR CRAP!! WORSE THEIR "24 HOUR TECH SUPPORT IS IN ARIZONA!! FORGET CALLING THE LOCAL OFFICE! IT JUST ROUTES YOU TO ARIZONA. EVERY TIME THEY COME OUT AND FIX ONE THING IT BREAKS SOME THING ELSE TODAY THEY FIXED THE TILEING ON THE T.V. IJUST GOT INTERNET AGAIN! TRY TO CALL THE "TECH SUPPORT" GO UNPLUG THIS AND CAN YOU GET TO REACH THIS PUSH THIS BUTTON, BLAH BLAH, I HAVE TOLD THE MORONS I HAM WHEELCHAIR BOUND IAM NOT ABLE TO PULL OUT THIS OR CRAWL BEHIND ANYTHING. SEND OUT A KNOWLEDGEABLE TECH(NOT) IF I GOT UP AND GOT BEHIND THE BOX FORGET THE INTERNET. ID BE DOWN AT THE NEAREST CHURCH, ON MY KNEES THANKING THE LORD FOR A MIRACULAS HEALING. I WASNT WELL SO I TOOK A NAP. MY SISTER HANDLED THE CABLE GUY THEY FINALLY SENT OUT. I WAKE UP NO INTERNST. I WAS SCREAMING MY HEAD OFF!! WHY CANT THOSE IDIOTS GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME...ITS JUST COMMON SENSE! SOMEONE GET COX CABLE OUT HERE TO SHOW THESE IDIOTS SOMECOMMON SENSE. RIGHT NOW I HAVE INTERNET AGAIN AND TE T.V. IS WORKING. IT APEARS THE PHONE IS ALSO WOEKING WHO KNOWD FOR HOW LONG. SO I AM RANTING ABOUT THEIR AWEFUL SERVICE WHILE I CAN. THE WORST PART. WHEN EVERYTHING WORKS IT HAS EXCELLENT CALL TONE, GREAT T.V. PICTURE, AND SINCE I WENT TO A HARD LINE GOOD INTERNET THIS IS ALL DEPENDANT ON THE "IF" IT ALL WORKS AT THE SAME TIME.

Not super sure why all these low reviews are here. Ive been using Cable One for 3 years at my apartment (just 3 minutes from ECU) and Ive not had any issues with rate changes save for the expiration of the promotional plan I got when I first signed up. I pay $68 a month, and I believe $8 of that is due to me renting one of their modems. My last one burned out due to the brownouts in the area. Every time Ive called for customer service or paid my bill, the help is usually quick and efficient and I dont end up being given a run-around. I only use it for internet, which only rarely lags for me. I stream games, livestreams, and netflix on it all the time. I think maybe if you plan on using Cable One, its best if youre within city limits and you read the fine print carefully. The only time I had a major issue is trying to figure out what modems work with the provider (and the list is sort of difficult to find).

Cable One is one of the poorest internet services providers I have ever come across. I first got Cable One to get the Unlimited Internet Data service pack for 50 a month. After the first 5 months they changed my plan to 300G Data plan without mentioning to me that my plan had changed. I have had to call their customer support multiple times which is by far one of the rudest, and most unhelpful support I have ever received. They treat their customers like dirt, and are completely and utterly disorganized. I would give them no stars if I could.

Terrible just terrible. Their internet sucks so bad and they charge you a ridiculous amount of money for the worst internet in Oklahoma. I have had cable one for 8 years ( not by choice) it used to be $50 for unlimited internet and now its $150 and its not even faster and It still drops all the time and is just terrible. If Ada ever gets another internet provider I will switch to it as fast a possible. I wouldnt recommend cable one to anyone. They are a terrible company who doesnt care about it customers

CableONE no-showed for my two hour time slot to set up service at my new location (which was a Friday and they are closed Saturday - Monday). Its not difficult to call ahead and let me know you wont make it. It is also impossible to talk to anyone locally about issues. Even if you call the local number, you get transferred out and around. Its unfortunate that Ada doesnt have other cable internet options -- its that reason that allows CableONE to function like they do and still have customers.

Bad service!!!! Actually I wanna give a zero star !We made an appointment about install wifi on 8/21, but no one came to our house. We asked them why they cancelled our appointment .The customer service said she do not know the reason, she put our schedule off on 8/29. No reason! We are students, we need to do homework every day, we can only take our laptop and sit outside to do our homework. We dont know why they are so terrible, racism?

I too have had cable one for a long time. Canceled the cable part and have had just internet for the last 4 years. I too was just paying 50$ in the begining and now pay 113.50$ a month. They send me an email that says I have went over, again and will have to go up to the next level. I refuse to pay another penny. It will be cancelled Tuesday

CableOne is awesome!.... not.. I signed up over three years ago and paid around $50 for unlimited internet and now I have been forced to upgrade to a $110 dollar plan because I "use too much data".. wow... if Cox or any other ISP comes down or here (or At&t ups their game) then CableOne will be screwed.. just saying.. you suck.. #muchhate

These people they call workers at their Ada office are condescending liars. And the internet and cable services are complete garbage, I would rather deal with Dish or even Direct tv than have to deal with those cretins. My cellular internet works faster than the home service that cable1 charges almost a hundred bucks for.
