I dont typically write a ton of reviews but this place earned it. My girlfriend took her Honda into the Honda dealership and we walked away with an estimate of $9046.58. They said it was a transmission along with the airbag control unit, spark plugs, and some other maintenance that needed to be done. My girlfriend not know much about cars wasnt sure what to do. I made a few calls and found out that searching AAAs website for a AAA approved shop was my best chance at getting proper service. I found Bradshaws transmission to have them check the transmission. within 5 minutes not only did they figure out the transmission was fine but they figured out the real issue. It ended up being a VTEC pressure switch which ended up costing $750 total. Less than 10% of the cost Honda quoted us. Its hard to find a shop that I trust when I recently moved to Portland but I can say without a doubt these guys are trustworthy! Jason - Thank you for everything you have done for us and for doing business the right way! It shows in what you guys do!

I had my car diagnosed for a couple problems I knew and asked for a couple things to be checked out at a different shop before I came here. They gave me a quote of $4000+ to fix my 1999 SVT Cobra cause they said I had a bad head gasket. I wanted a second opinion and found this shop on the AAA website. I scheduled an appointment and had my car re-diagnosed. Not only did they seem nicer, but they were straight up with what was wrong. They came back after Doug multiple tests on my car for a bad head gasket and told me they were fine!! This was awesome news for me, they also gave me cheaper and better quotes for the other issues I am having with my vehicle. They have won my respect because they are honest and try to help you as much as they can. I am new to the area and there are many shops out there that try to rip you off. I would and will recommend this place to anyone in need of repairs/diagnosis.

They act like they have nothing to hide. Good people trying to help motorists. I thought my alternator had died and had it towed to Bradshaws. They are AAA approved and my truck was towed without me having to be there. They called me up and told me it was just my battery. They could have played me and I wouldnt have known the difference. They are not like a Toyota dealer! I bought my battery at Costco and installed it in their parking lot. Costco batts are cheaper. Better - I dont know? Happy with the experience because I know that I didnt get ripped off. You know that feeling inside that you just got robbed - like I used to get going to the Toyota dealership. I recommend them because I think they are honest. They were with me anyway.

I tried to give these guys some work, I called and asked for the service manager to discuss working on our truck, and whether it would be okay to leave it there while we were out of town. The person answering the phones said not today as soon as I asked for the service manager and hung up on me. So I called back and asked him why he hung on me and he told me I had ten seconds to tell him what I wanted. WOW! I would be fired in a second if I answered our phones like that and treated potential customers as such.These people must think they are the only shop in Portland that fixes transmissions, Well, Im pretty sure they are not. So, if you want to be treated like dirt and get really frustrated, just call these people.

These guys are great! Had them do a pre-purchase inspection on a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and they were able to very quickly steer me away from a nightmare of a car purchase. For a very reasonable cost, they saved me thousands down the road in repairs that the vehicle I was thinking of purchasing needed. Bradshaws is top of the auto repair business and most important is that they were completely honest and told me that the non-functioning convertible top on my VW beetle was an easy fix, and didnt try to tell/sell me new parts, such as a new hydraulic pump/ect. which proves there are trustworthy repair establishments and this is one of them. What I appreciated about taking my car here was the honest advice I got after diagnosing the problems my car was having. The mechanic who looked at my car didnt pressure me to get the work done in his shop or pressure me to spend a lot of money, instead he educated me about the problem and gave me several options about how to get it fixed.
