When you do not feel as knowledgeable about automobile mechanics as you would like, perhaps you are similar to me in that you are wary of going to automobile repair shops and turning your vehicle over to them. Well, those days are behind me now when I am in the area of Denton. About five years ago, I began patronizing Pioneer Automotive on Teasley Ln. After about the second visit, I began to relax and not be so uptight about the experience. The actual repairs on my vehicle were part of the reason my tension disappeared, but the main reason was the customer service demonstrated when I walked through the door. Drew and all the associates/mechanics at the garage obviously are schooled in what is desired by the company as they relate to the public. I totally trust their evaluation of my vehicles needs and their honesty in reporting it to me. My daughter and son-in-law are clients of theirs also, and it is for the same reasons. This may sound like a compensated recommendation, but I assure you it is not.

We recently moved to the north side of Lewisville Lake and that meant giving up easy access to a great mechanic/shop weve used 20+ years. Initially made the drive back down there when needed, but really wanted to find someone who knew what they were doing and that we could trust. Son ended up at Pioneer at one point and really liked everything about the experience. So when I needed sometime fairly major done (CV axles), I thought it was time to try Drew and his time. From the minute I walked in until I picked up my car, I knew Id found the shop Ill use from here on out. Great knowledge, great service, great prices and the car travels better than it ever has. Highly, highly recommend Pioneer.

My dad taught me that car mechanics was a classic sellers market. You often have no way of understanding the problem theyre fixing and you desperately need your car...so they can charge you pretty much whatever they want. When the fuel lines on my 2012 VW popped out, I had no way of knowing whether there was a hole in the tank or a permanent issue with the lines. Pioneer could have charged me thousands. Guess what? They popped the lines back in for free. FREE! I will never take my car anywhere else in Denton. Please take your car to Pioneer, too, and make sure this business gets the good karma it deserves.

Pioneer offers great service at reasonable prices. We tried pioneer for the first time about a year ago, and the experience was so positive that we rely on the Pioneer guys for all of our auto maintenance needs. My husband and I both drive Mercedes-Benz autos, and we have found Pioneer to be extremely capable and knowledgeable regarding the repair and maintenance of both cars. They have worked on our cars 3 times and each time they made stupid mistakes. They also took longer to fix the cars then what was originally told us it would take. The first mistake was they forgot to put the oil cap back on resulting in our car burning up all the oil and almost blowing the engine. The second was they put the wrong type of steering fluid in another car we own. The third was not correctly fixing the auto suspension system that took weeks to "fix". Stupid mistakes that could have caused major damage.

Dont waste your time anywhere else. These guys give prompt service at a good price and are friendly (and actually likable). TRUST is something you will find comes easy when you use them and we all know that is not easy in this industry. I almost hate writing the review because it lets a good secret out of the bag but they deserve to be praised for how great they are at what they do. Best car maintenance and repair shop in our area hands down.

Sorry but they may do good work, but when you grossly over quote a new customer this is gonna happen. They tried to get me to pay literally 1000 to change my brakes. More than 1000 for engine mounts... Im not a fool, I know European cars are more expensive, but I played the part and let him tell me what he wanted and walked away. You could have the hand of midas but Ill never go back there...

Pioneer replaced the clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, changed my oil, greased all the points on the suspension as well as looked over the lift and drivetrain on my Jeep. This was all in record time with an unbelievable price. I cant thank them enough. I wouldnt have been able to leave on my 4 wheeling trip on time without them. Thanks Pioneer!

As a former claims adjuster for an automotive extended warranty I am very leery of most automotive repair shops. John and his team did a great job with the timing belt replacement on my wife’s Mercury Villager when it broke. (We just bought the van) The estimate was exactly what I thought it should be. Great service at a fair price.

Worth) BUT we still make the drive back to Pioneer Auto in Denton for our service needs because we know that we will always be treated fairly there. They have earned my business FOR LIFE!
