The best thing you can say about an auto repair joint - they had the opportunity to rip off four ladies from out of town, but instead spent about an hour to ensure nothing was seriously wrong with the car, got it up and running, sent the ladies on their way safely, and didnt charge one penny - true! My elderly mom and I went up to Dallas to pick up family at the airport (3 hours away), about 5 miles from the airport the cars warning lights went on and temperature gauge went crazy... managed to get family from airport then searched on google for an auto place to have it checked out... found Concourse. We show up hot and tired and not sure if anything is wrong with car.. keep in mind I am one of those people that has oil/fluids checked/changed every 3 months, and have a handy hubby that ensures everything is fine with cars. Concourse found that car was out of water and anti-freeze, but couldnt find anything else wrong - could have replaced pump and temperature gauge, but told us that could be a rip off and didnt want us to waste our time/money. We think my oil change near home the week before let the fluid out and didnt replace it. Concourse suggested we take a half hour to drive around and verify the car wasnt overheating any more, and then head home as hubby or personal mechanic could fix it cheaper. The people are HONEST! They could have done what most other places would have, just replaced everything and charged an arm and a leg. they were concerned about us being safe, but at the same time didnt want to waste our money. Nice to be given a choice to make, and then they didnt even charge us for the hour they spent cooling the car off, topping off all the fluids, inspecting the water pump and temperature gauge, and then driving the car. If I have car repairs I cant get done at home I would drive three hours north to Jack and Jan - nice people, local business, old fashion service. If you are in the Dallas metroplex area get yourself to Grapevine for your auto repairs.

We first started coming to Concourse Automotive to get our annual safety inspection. Being new to Texas, we didnt know which company was a good and reputable car repair place. We soon found out that Concourse is the ticket. Weve been using the Hyundai dealership for our vehicles, but after getting an exorbitant estimate for breaks and 60K service, we decided to see what Concourse would say. Not only was their estimate considerably less, the work the dealership recommended not all was necessary at this time. Additionally, the price was much better here. We got the break work done and most recently we got the 60K service. What I appreciate the most about Concourse is that they are honest. Theyre not just in it for the money. Instead they are here to provide good quality service at a fair and reasonable price. Thats why we will not be bringing out vehicle to Concourse and not the dealership. Update 7/13/17: We are regular customers of Concourse Automotive. We are very appreciative of the quality service, at a reasonable price and the respect for the customers time. We first came to them for our safety inspection which is always taken care of quickly. We started bringing our Hyundai to Concourse for regular maintenance because the Hyundai dealership was dishonest, took a longtime to complete work and overcharged. We continue to bring our cars to Concourse because of their great service and highly recommend them. These people care...they care about people and cars. I hope they are around for many, many years.

What a shame... have taken all my vehicles to Concourse for over a year and have talked with the owner Jack frequently. Yesterday, while my wife is away on a mission trip, I thought Id surprise her by having some work done on the car (not mission critical - just fix a door motor). Last time I was in, Concourse gave me a price to fix it. I also needed some other work done at the same time (breaks, etc.) Since my wife is out of town, I had to make arrangements to drop of the vehicle the night before. Jack called yesterday morning to say that they could not fix it (something to do with Chrysler, which I later learned was not accurate). I shared that I was "very disappointed" that they had looked at it prior, and now they tell me they cant fix it. Jacks response... "well, I dont need anybody disappointed in our service - I dont want to do the other work on your car. Come get it." I calmly asked if he was serious - reminding him that Id been a customer for a while and that, as a business owner, I thought hed appreciate the feedback. He said yes he was serious. "Im not going to work on your car." I was astonished... Here I was giving him perfectly legitimate feedback on customer service, and he responds by "firing me" as a customers. VERY disappointing. But clearly indicative of character. Beware!

I would recommend Concourse to anyone that is looking for knowledgable ,honest car care in the DFW area. We brought our car in to get it ready for a family vacation and Jack and Eric were quick to let me know that my engine was on its last leg and to keep pouring money into costly repairs might not be to our best interest. They could have easily done the $700-1,000 in struts and shocks repairs that my car might have needed and not said a word about the failing engine. But they immediately halted repairs until we made our decision and thoroughly explained the engine issue to me and saved me the $4-5,000 engine repair bill we might have encountered if we had driven the car across country. No one wants to hear that they need a new car, but we are grateful for their integrity and honesty. An to top it off, they only charged me the minimal labor fee for all of their time and effort. I will DEFINITELY be returning to Concourse!

My daughter experienced a problem with her car while away at college, and upon return I looked for a trustworthy garage to correct the multitude of problems before she drove any further. Based on all the positive reviews I read about Concourse, I called and within minutes of my conversation with Eric I made an appointment. A follow-up call that day from Jack, reassured me I made the right decision. This facility is not only trustworthy, but extremely knowledgeable and fixed my daughters car without wasting time and money. If you have any car problems and are looking for a reputable garage that truly takes care of the customer, look no further than Concourse. I will be recommending them to anyone I know in the future and of course any work I cant handle myself, I will be going there as well. I will also say that the waiting area looks very nice and the garages are extremely clean.

I have several vehicles which I trust to the Concourse team. Most recently I brought my 2011 Honda Odyssey there for a blinking engine light. They promptly diagnosed the issue and immediately referred me to the dealer to have the repair done for free based on an open Tech Service Bulletin (TSB) issue by Honda. After diagnosing the issue, they did the research into the TSB, pulled together the info and gave me a printed copy to help facilitate my conversation with the dealership. Instead of doing the work and charging me for it, they did the right thing and helped me get the work handled for free at the dealership. This level of integrity and customer service is hard to find and I will continue to trust them with my business.
