This was my first and last time here. I always go to Discount Tire Co. and figured I would try them out since they were close to home and to support my local community. Purchased a new set of tires for my Prius and over a couple weeks noticed a significant drop in my MPG. After reseting my trip meter, it came out to be a loss of 10 MPG. No matter what way you look at it, that a lot of MPG. It turns out that they sold me high rolling resistance tires. Im 29 and have to communte 100 miles round trip for work. Im not driving a Prius becuase I think its cool. Im doing it to save $$$. Shouldnt something like that be taken into consideration when dealing with customers? When I returned and confronted them on the matter, they simply told me that gas mileage is one thing that they are NOT concerned with and there was nothing they could do for me. Being the subject matter experts, it would be a good idea to analyze customers for what will best fit their needs. I believe that they were just trying to get rid of some inventory. When I was buying them, there was a gentleman in front of me who had returned for poor services performed on his vehicle the day prior. He claimed that they didnt even rotate his tires and that they left the oil plug loose which leaked oil in his driveway overnight. When he stated the name of the "mechanic", the employees response was "yeah, I should have known". I should have taken that as a warning and example of poor customer service. I will not be returning to any Firestone, EVER! Way to lose business for a simple fix!

I am normally pretty skeptical when taking my car in to get serviced from oil change to tire rotations to an engine light coming on. I am a young female that knows nothing but how to start a car and normally I go into a place needed one thing done and come out with 25 things wrong with it and repaired. WELL, this was NOT the case at all at the Firestone in Hutto, TX (right off of hwy 79 in the Home Depot parking lot). When I walked in I was pleasently surprised to see it fairly busy but no one really waiting, as everyone was getting quickly helped and tended to immediately by thier friendly staff. After taking my car into Jiffy Lube previously, I was not able to get all of the items on my list for my car inspected in the time limit that they gave me so I brought it into Firestone. They quickly inspected it and fixed everything I needed for my vehicle in a matter of minutes! Literally! I even had some problems with my tint, in order to have it pass the new state regulations and Dr.Ernie quickly offered to take care of that for me ON HIS OWN TIME! The price and quality of my service is my best acknoldgement of Firestone! These guys really have it going on and cannot be beat on ANYTHING! So if you need tire care, state inspection, oil change, tire rotation and you live in Hutto, Taylor, or Round Rock you should definitely come to this area firestone!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Do yourself a favor, save yourself the money and time, and go somewhere else. I had just replaced a tie rod and needed them to 1. Realign my front end 2. re-pack the ball joints with grease 3. Check the two castle nuts to make sure they were torqued correctly. I brought my truck in at 12 and was told theyd be done in 1.5 hrs, and they gave me their word that theyd do what I requested. Which was great because I HAD to be on the road by 2. They didnt even start on my truck until 150, and they never called to let me know they were behind schedule so I could make other arrangements to get to a wedding. They also did NOT repack my ball joints (theres clear evidence they didnt do this from when I crawled or check them. The zert fittings hadnt been touched at all) or check the torque on my castle nuts on the front end. But they where pretty damned friendly about taking my money for their POOR craftsmanship. Im coming back this morning for a refund of the $100 I spent for yall just to move my truck to a different parking spot.

Just got a set of bridgeston dueler h/t put on today. I read some reviews, and bridgestone tires dont appear well rated on consumer reports or in reviews. I decided to take a chance and see for myself. Pete hooked me up with a great deal, and seemed confident that I would like them. I was surprised when he told me that I would need to rotate the tires with every oil change, but perhaps poor experiences others have had were because they were not maintained and properly rotated as recommended by the manufacturer. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to wait about an hour and a half, and they turned away a lot of business because of the long wait times. Thats unfortunate, but I guess its expected on a Sunday. Other than that, the service was amazing. They have convenient hours and a convenient location, so Im probably going to start going there for regular maintenance.

Everyone, stay AWAY from the Firestone in Hutto. They replaced the wrong tire on my car, sent me and my two children away with my car still shaking so bad it felt like my tire was going to fall off, blaming my ball joints and a wheel bearing. My husband took the tire they took off my car, put in place of the clearly bad tire and the car is driving like a charm. The only resolve the assistant manager had for me was to sell me two more tires with a $30 discount. Also, the employee, James, lied to me telling me someone else was the manager and that person seem to avoid my phone calls. BTW nothing is wrong with my ball joints nor my wheel bearing.

Buyer beware! Without asking, $44 for wheel balance, +$28 for TPMS kit. , +$12 labor to install the kit that I didnt ask for, +$8.45 "shop supplies". Nothing posted anywhere about these additional costs. Nothing was told to me about it either. Dishonest business practices. Period. Almost $100 in unexpected charges to get 4 new tires and and alignment.

came in on a Sunday with a catastrophic malfunction of my drivers side wheel bearing and in a couple of hrs they had me back on the road. Great service and they were nice enough to discount extras with so much work I needed. They really save my vacation while passing thru and go me on my way as soon a possible.

Roger was extremely helpful and friendly. Hes got customer service pinned! Not only did they get my tires done and my oil change done quickly and with short notice, but they actually picked my car up for me to get the work done before I clocked out of work for the day. I will definitely be back.

Went in to get a tire put on and they somehow ripped the plastic undercarriage to the point where it was dragging on the ground. When I brought it up to them they said it wasnt them and there was nothing they could do. Dont go here!
