I have never written a review for anything, but I felt the need to do so with this one. I really wish that it didnt come to this, and I also wish that I could leave a higher rating, but I cannot. We have spent close to $3,000 at this Firestone location. At first, all seemed well... We trusted them, they even informed us of the fact that we may be able to get some of our fixes done elsewhere for cheaper, but we were promised higher quality with them, and that is what we wanted. ASE certification, seemingly honest, dependable, and trustworthy... But after several times of bringing our car in, leaving it overnight, coming back excitedly to get our fixed car, but only to leave, disappointed, paying $500-$800 a pop, new issues each time... We are done here. After our recommendation, a family member also had her truck serviced here, after which they lied and put on an aftermarket part, sending her home with, you guessed it, an issue that was NOT there before she trusted their hand. We figured maybe there was a misunderstanding somewhere in there, and we had a smaller issue we decided we would allow them to fix, as a "make or break" trip, really. Some messed up wiring causing our car to lose power, a $20 fix, WOW. We felt like wed robbed the place. That was the cheapest wed ever gotten out of there, by far. It was what we expected, as it is a small fix, but we wanted to trust professionals with it. Hop in the car with our infant son, excited that finally wed be without that problem... NOPE. Same issue. Not fixed. Now were stuck worrying that our car might not make it much longer, and we have to find a new mechanic that will hopefully be truly dependable for us. So, although we gave them many chances, and they have made good on some problems, we just cannot afford to keep sinking money into a place that senses our lack of knowledge, and uses that as an opportunity to take advantage. As a young couple with an infant son, we need a reliable car. Firestone promised us exceptional service, but what we got was far from it. I do not recommend this place, unless you get second, and maybe third opinions.

Was in desperate need of tires for my car. One of my tires had a broken belt and a bubble so I decided to replace all 4 with brand new tires. I called and scheduled an appointment at this location on Paul Meador. I received a call from the store saying they didnt have my tires in stock but had another more expensive tire ready and available for my Sunday appointment. I bring my car to the store leave it and an about an hour later I receive a phone call from the service desk saying the tires i wanted were inf act NOT in stock but that I could drive across town and get them at a different location. I said NO I could not do that because of fear that my damaged tire may blow out could they pleas send someone to get them because afterall I was assured the day prior that the tires were in stock at this location. The service desk associate informed that there was No way he was going to send someone to get the tires because they had a full schedule and he wasnt going to go over his overhead for the day. I was in SHOCK and seriously could NOT believe this person was more concerned about his overhead than the satisfaction of a customer. I have NEVER used Firestone and I NEVER WILL. I have 3 vehicles total that will be needing tires before we move halfway across the country in 3 months BUT I can ASSURE you I will NOT be getting those tires from Firestone where overhead is more important than customer satisfaction.

I took my car here just to get a headlight bulb replaced. Of course, as expected, the "labor" charge for unscrewing one bulb and screwing in another was twice the price of the bulb. But I had expected that, and didnt mind. But when I came to pick up my car, I was told that the mechanic said my wiper blades needed to be replaced. I had just had them replaced a few months ago, and knew perfectly well they were fine. I refused, went out to my car, and the rubber had been pulled away at the tip of one of the blades (by the mechanic, no doubt). My daughter was able to push it back in, and no harm done. But as a woman, I have been a victim of this type of scam before, and I highly urge other women to avoid this place. Why be so greedy, when I had just paid you $45 to replace a light bulb? Wasnt that enough profit for you? Luckily, my brother is a reputable mechanic (in another city unfortunately) and has told me all the scams to look out for. Also, I usually give the mechanic my business card up front to avoid this kind of thing. Im a lawyer, and it seems most people are a bit wary of that. I forgot to do that this time, but Ill never forget again.

UPDATE: Guess the assistant Dist Manager didnt like my review so my claim has been killed and my emails ignored. Now we have to involve attorneys. If you really want your classic car damaged then by all means, take it here. If you want a proper alignment done but dont want a print out of the final specs only to drive it home and realize its not even close, then bring it here. Take your car somewhere else to see what the alignment specs really are and see they arent even close, no wonder they didnt want to give a print out, thats what you get for taking it here. Knock some paint off of a $35k classic car, leave the fender braces folded back after replacing a battery that died when you arrive and then jump up in the air and slam my hood down bowing it over the braces that were never put back in place... that all sound good to you? Then by all means bring it here. Guess who gets to pay for these repairs? I do, after paying to have it damaged. So, by all means, bring your car here or better yet take it to the Fort Worth zoo and let their monkeys work on it, at least you will be better entertained.

I didnt see all the reviews until after I dropped my truck off , it made me very nervous..But there wasnt any issues ..I had a good service guy named Pete who was knowledgeable and friendly. The credit card took about three minutes to get and the work was done just as they said no extra up charges or anything and they described the work and warranty before and after . The reason I cant do five stars is the time issues, be prepared it takes forever . Im not sure why the time delays are so bad as it appears everyone is working when your in there but it is severe. I waited three hours for the diagnosis..and I watched it took almost two and a half hours before it ever went into the garage. When I brought it back for the work the next day I made sure to bring it as close to opening as possible . It still took 9 hours for completion, but I had them do quite a few things... I will definitely go back I will just be prepared for long time waits.
