I pay my homeowners association a communications fee, and they in turn pay Charter. What I pay for is for one cable box, modem, and router. At first everything was great. I dont use cable TV, but it was necessary to get it so I could have internet access, so it didnt bother me that I was only getting basic cable. Well, a few months go by, and I get this past due notice from Spectrum saying I owe them a decent amount of money. So, I call my HOA, and explain whats happened, and ask for clarification. They said that the only way I would be owing Spectrum is if I was getting anything other than basic services. That being said I called Spectrum, and was told that I was paying for two HD cable boxes, the modem, and the router. I was cool with the five dollar a month rental fee they charge for the router, but when I explained that I only had one cable box, they said that I picked up two, and then told me that if Im not using them to just return them. I said fine, but it doesnt make any sense that Im paying for two cable boxes when I only have one, and I would like to see the fees that Spectrum is demanding from me to reflect that. The representative told me that its not on Spectrum to do so, and that I should speak to my HOA to resolve the problem. So, long story short/TL:DR this employees at this location gave me the basic cable/internet that I was supposed to get, but in fact gave me something other than basic, plus had me as having equipment I dont have, thus causing me to owe them more money.

Charter KNOWS beyond the shadow of a doubt that they have you by the gonads about cable TV & internet services. They promise to come for service and do not show and on top of everything else they lie about whether or not you confirmed the appt!!!!!!!! Scum is what they are! I was told by a tech that it was MY TV and I trusted that. I went out and bought a new TV!!! It was NOT the TV, it was Charter! Then they do not show up on time to service my cable???? I couldnt be less happy with Charter than I am at this moment.

Terrible Customer Service!! These people will call at all hours and time to pester customers to expand service and send me spam mail daily. When you try to call them or use the chat app on the website the help is unresponsive and impersonal. Finally, their automatic bill pay doesnt work. Ive signed up 6 times and despite getting a confirmation, it never actually works. The only plus is that their actual product if very good and one of the only services that reaches my area.

My screen is constantly "freezing" and when I complain, after waiting on hold for thirty minutes, they claim to "send a signal" to my box but it never works. Signal comes and goes intermittently. I cancelled direct TV for this service a few months ago and Im immediately regretting it. The only reason I switched is because I wanted internet but now Im realizing it wasnt worth the aggravation. Id rather go off the grid then deal with this company anymore.

I just hung with Lester who took way too long to solve my challenges. Their software is so outdated they cant even add an address at our UPS store for billing. Geezzz. He thought I should be impressed because he "googled" the UPS store! WOW. Going around in circles with very little satisfaction. Urgh! Monopoly in cities with long-term agreements. I am moving to streaming very soon to get away from this ridiculous attitude

Internet is horrible...screen freezes, website "not responding", "recover" website, websites taking forever to load. The ironic thing is yesterday I was trying to log on to Spectrums webpage to pay my overblown bill and it wouldnt load!!! It took 6 hours of trying to finally log on! Cable is no better...constant "tileing" and audio cuts out. I wish we had and alternative. I thought monopoly was illegal!

I have had nothing but outages for almost 5 years. They come out, "fix" it, it doesnt work so they send the supervisor out and they always say "your signal is too strong so we turned it down." It works for 3 months and then Im back to 300 outages/day. No exaggeration. If I could go anywhere else, I would, but Charter has a monopoly, so Im stuck with their BS.

I have had the service since Aug 2015 and have nothing but problem after problem... Their customer service sucks...I have called them on numerous occasions and they write in their notes what they feel and the problem still remains.....Im going to contact direct tv to see if they are better....A frustrated customer!!!!!

Had to drive 35 minutes to turn in equipment when moving. Nowhere local (in Isle of Wight County/Smithfield) to drop off cable box, and no UPS Store drop-ship like every other cable company offers. Poor service in this situation was better than installation a year ago, but thats not saying much.

The representatives are trained to lie to their customers and not give all the information to you! Instead of helping you they will just give you an answer. However the reps at this building are helpful and honest. Just dont call and expect any help.

I wish they would provide to the entire Suffolk area. I live less than 5 minutes from friends that do get Charters services and we live just as far off the main road as they do. Plenty of potential customers around us that would sign up for service.

I HATE charter. Their internet is the worst. The customer service is terrible. I wish we had a choice of Cox or Verizon FiOS is Suffolk because I would drop this TERRIBLE service in a heartbeat. I wish I could have given them zero stars.

My clerk was great, but they had no equipment ready, and I had to be told it MAY be ready tomorrow. I blame management for not ensuring equipment is properly prepared and stocked as the front desk was professional and kind.

Worst service ever, over a month, 6 tech visits and still non working internet, but my bill is on time. Well documented with photos and copies of my data streams. Off to legal tomorrow. Worst service I ever experienced.

Charter has the worst service ever. Then you pay for channels you cant watch. I hate charter. And miss Cox. I wish we had the choice of getting Cox cable. But living in Suffolk you have no choice.

the worse . take to long to cut back on and if you do not have the "silver packet" you will literally only have about 50 shows verses 9999 shows and the service on the cable is horrible.

terrible customer service, online support is really bad. Wish they has Verizon in Suffolk. Even though both are overpriced, I would be willing to pay more for less hassle.
